My son's new favorite! Getting a 17 year old out of sneakers wasn't easy but this was the shoe. Comfortable, good looking and passes the "hip" test.

Most comfortable ever--my husband loves these shoes - Ordered these shoes for my husband and he absolutely adores the comfort--he didn't want to take them off his feet after he tried them on--he wears an 11 1/2 and the shoes fit him perfectly--can't beat Zappos for service and speedy delivery-will definitely order more shoes for my husband from this site as he hates to shop--

Great value and style - These are without a doubt my favorite shoes. I have purchased four pairs of these comfortable sneakers.

I love my New Bs - Usually I am not a fan of all one color of a shoe especially black. But where I work you must wear brown or black shoes. And with a couple of gel soles I can wear these bad boys all day long! Buy 'em in any color!

Dope Shoes YO! They are comfortable, awesome looking, and they fit in my brown shoe collection. My favorite pair of New Balances I own. They are Radical!

These shoes feel great! I love my New Balance M574's. They have great cushion and support. I would recommend buying them one half to one whole size larger than usual. Similar to Nike's, they seem to be about a size small. Highly recommend!

Worth every penny! I recently ordered another pair of these classics. The last pair I owned lasted for three years, and they are still in good condition. I ordered an 8w and they are true to size. Thanks Zappos.

Great walking shoe - I love the look and comfort with New Balance shoes. I've found that I have to order a half size larger then my normal size. Then it works out just great.

A great shoe - This is my second pair... and they're amazing as far as comfort and old-school style goes. Break them in, and enjoy.

Always get compliments - I am an 11.5 and typically get a size 12 and normal width. The NB ran a little small. I returned my first pair and ended up with a size 12 EE. They fit great.

Good Shoes~ I bought these because I wanted shoes that looked pretty cool and were good to play sports in. Well, thanks to these shoes, I’m a New Balance fan. But make sure to buy them half size bigger to ensure a proper fit.

New Balance Classics M574 - I stand on my feet all day at work and these shoes do well for me. Casual, comfortable, inexpensive and lightwieight shoe. I would buy these again.

Good shoes - I was very pleased with the fit "true to size." Very comfortable walking on concrete.

Kickin' it - old skool style. I bought these shoes for my husband, because I really like a guy in New Balance shoes. I asked him all the questions for this review and he gave them 5 stars all the way around! So comfortable, so stylish. Women love them on dudes. What more could you ask for? The navy is particularly great color. It looks good with everything. Buy as many of these urban trendy shoes as you can afford!

Walking on clouds - Good fit comfort and style all in one, makes this a true classic!

On my feet all day - I work in an emergency room and I rarely have time to take a seat and relax. So I purchased the New Balance M574 mainly for this reason. They're extremely comfortable, light, and breathable and fit true to size. Not one case of sore or tired feet. The M574's are excellent for walking and jogging as well. They also look great with jeans on my days off.

Love this shoe - This Shoe is comfortable and stylish. The delivery was faster than expected. I am very happy with this product.

Made in China not "exactly" the same as Made in USA NB shoes - I own a pair of 574s (Made in USA) and ordered the grey/white/green ones off Zappos. Service was awesome, received shoes in 4 days. But just so you're aware, these are Made in China, with just some "subtle" differences from the Made in USA ones some people may not really notice at first glance. Some of the differences: 1) I have to agree with others who have said this shoe feels slightly narrower than normal, about 2mm at the arch compared to my other pair of 574s. 2) Made in USA shoelace loop at the top on tongue for last shoelace tie, where these are a notch lower as shown in picture. 3) Stitching for Registered logo (R) on back heel of shoe so small it's unreadable. 4) Shoe size tags on inside of tongue off-centered. 5) Missing authentic NB tag on tongue. 6) Padding for heel-area not as soft. These are just a few of the small differences some may not really care about or mind. All that being said, I still think it's a great shoe, Zappos offers colors I can't find in stores. Lots of people still say this shoe is really comfortable, but to me the Made in USA 574s are far superior, much softer and comfortable and a truer width size.

574's Forever - I originally wanted the rasta version of this shoe but it's being discontinued and my size wasn't available. These have treated me really well though and I'm glad I picked them up.

Awesome shoe - Awesome shoe...one of the most comfortable pair of shoes I've ever owned!

New balance - This is a real good shoe it has comfort & looks. Free returns if needed. You cant ask for better service. Zappos has it all!

Size 13....Great Shoe - New Balance is the only shoe I buy. I have 7 pairs of the 574's. They are great...even though they are made in China.

I live in these!!!! This is the second time I've ordered these sneakers, and they're amazing. Comfortable and great-looking... I wear them with jeans and shorts. No need to "break them in"... felt great from the start.
