I've been enjoying the same pair of classic 574 (in navy blue) for over 10 years now and they're still my favorite everyday sneaker to wear. They fit like a glove and there is no sign of tearing or the treads wearing out anytime soon. This new pair feels amazing just like my original and I'm confident it will last forever as well too. Get them!

Comfortable, properly-fitting shoe, which is nice, and I like Zappos, too (and will probably shop from them again), but from a style point of view, I feel like this shoe is a little too young for me (50-year-old white guy who's used to those all-leather white-with-maybe-some-trim sneakers). It's kind of aggressively grey, know what I mean? So, even though it's grey, it's "colorful".

The shoe is overall comfortable. At first, the front is a little narrow and, for me, hurt a little, but it will break in with use. This is the only reason I give them four stars for comfort. If you're going on a trip or planning to walk a lot, make sure you give these some time to break in before using them heavily. They are quite comfortable, and have a decent amount of support for the typical foot. Good walking shoes!

Arrived in one day. Perfect fit..."D"...11. Many shoes, sandals, slippers ordered from Zappos. Completely satisfied with each purchase and service. I'm a Senior, too bad Zappos wasn't around 50 years ago.

These are an excellent pair of shoes (this is the second pair I buy). They are very durable, comfortable and have a great classic look, which makes them appropriate for many occasions.

Great shoes and a great fit. I wear a size 14 and Zappos has a great selection of NB in my size. I wanted something with a retro look and good arch support and these shoes have it over a comparable Adidas, which I like as well.

Bought these cute NBs for my husband, who felt like he might be a little old to wear his running shoes with jeans and not look ridiculous. Perfect mix of cute and casual, with a throwback feel.

Normally, I'd go for yet another NB 1123 (or it's predecessors)-wide toe box, sturdy- but when I saw the enthusiastic reviews of the NB 574 and a price nearly 1/2 the 1123, I got it. And You can add me to the lst of happy customers. Yes, it's maybe not going to last as long, and maybe not quite as sturdy, but it's comfortable, light and for my cardiac therapy workouts, just fine.

These are too narrow. I am surprised, as men's regular (D) width usually fits me.

I have been a New Balance lover for over a decade. From running to work shoes, they are comfortable and hold up as they wear-in. This particular line (574) have been an exceptional set of work shoes for me, have lasted a year+, and I don't plan on retiring them for at least another 2-3 months. I work in healthcare and 90% of my job is simply walking. It is imperative that I have shoes that grip well and also absorb the shock of walking on concrete for 10+ hours a day. I did not rate them for arch support because I always install Powerstep Protech insoles for all of my shoes. Though if I diid rate their factory arch support, I'd rate it as poor because the shoes do break-in very quickly. Outside of work, they're also good for most casual getups. Also, as a Tai Chi practitioner, once the soles wear out pretty well, they're great for that. I'll be buying another pair of these in the future.

These shoes are great! I have bought New Balances before and regretfully strayed...but now they are back and will never leave again! These shoes are stylish and comfortable. The color scheme is good and grey sole is a great compromise to the white that you would usually see because it hides the dirt and keeps your shoes looking newer longer.

This shoe looks great! It is very comfortable and durable. The reason I purchased New balance is for better support. And it delivered. I would highly recommend for any one with Planters facitis.

These were/are a great buy for us. 13 year old wears a size 16. so finding a good shoe for a reasonable price is mandatory. These are great and the Green is very stylish.

I ordered this shoe form here because I already have one pair, so I got an other pair. I really like this shoe, I'm really picky with shoes. So for me to say its a good shoe, means its a good shoe.

These kicks are badass...period. Work or play, they get it done. Can't find these very often in the L.A. area right now, so get em while there hot.

These are nice, attractive shoes. I got the Formula 1 style. Made with the usual New Balance comfort and reliability.

I bought these shoes and the right shoe was making a strange noise. I contacted Zappos customer service, they were helpful and suggested a few tricks to fix the problem. The shoe noise persisted. I emailed customer service for a second time again they were amazingly helpful. They sent me another pair, and that pair is perfect! I only ever buy M574. Zappos' customer service is amazingly helpful and they have a sense of humor which makes them more personable. I wish every company's customer service departments were as cool as Zappos. These are great shoes and Zappos is a great company!

New Balance 574's are the only athletic shoe that fit my feet correctly. I wear a size 12 EE, which are extremely hard to find in the stores: thank God for Zappos!

Love these shoes. Great comfort great style--can wear with anything. Slightly wider than most of my other athletic shoes but not uncomfortably. Highly recommend.

These are awesome! I got them in grey in wide with and they are super comfortable and light. I really recommend these for anyone with wide feet.

I have bad knees and hips, surgery on both. These shoes fit my comfort perfectly and more importantly to me, my style. I have bought these same shoes for every day walking for the last 10 years.

Love these! I'm a duck-footed lady, and these are my perfect kicks for days when I don't have to dress up. I ordered the men's 574 because it had the best color/width selection and I don't regret it. It took just a few wears before getting to that perfect "like a glove" feel, although at first slightly narrower than I anticipated. No problems, though! Classic lines, great color, stylish and comfortable.

These look great and feel great! The fit is a little small. I'm usually a 10.5 but I bought these in 11 and they're still a bit snug for me. They're still comfy, and they've gotten lots of compliments.

The first pair right shoe was wider than left shoe. Returned shoes. Next pair was fine.
