My son loves these shoes - he has had the same pair over and over for years! They look nice, but have a tendency to wear out quickly!

Such a comfortable and stylish shoe! It felt like it was worn in as soon as I tried them on. I did have to return and then repurchase in wide. Seems to fit narrower than most other brands so wide may be the right choice.

New Balance has a great reputation and the shoe lives up to the name. I have several in this style in different colors. I love every pair.

These are the same tried and true amazing fit which we know and love- the Classic Old School M574. The key is the material of what they call the "upper", which is mesh and suede. BE CAREFUL! If you choose the ML 574 which look to be the exact same style but have loads of cool different colors and materials you might be disappointed in the fit. I had got the red leather ML574 in wides and the material did not have any give and were way to tight in the footbed. I had the same problem with the ML501 in wide. Unfortunately this rules out all the fun colors they offer in these very similar styles. But with a wide foot, you are best off sticking with the old school M574 in a wide. The black/grey are fresh, and so are the navy/teal. Stick with the best, you won't be sorry!

Great style shoes. They seem to run a little small. Not by much though.

Comfy, classic shoe. Though it does feel a little less "cushiony" inside than pairs I've had before. This may go away after I break them in. Still a great shoe! I'm a woman with a narrow foot, and ordered the men's version because the women's color options are pretty limited. Fits well.

You can't beat these marshmallow foot clouds for daily stomping around town, or even dressed up with jeans for business casual Fridays at work or on the town. The 574 seems to be better built than the other "newer" NB styles (lasts longer before color or sole fade). Buy them here tho, tons of knock-offs elsewhere on the net.

My husband has had these for 2.5 years and they are still in great shape and look good. They look great with shorts or jeans and the blue color is vibrant and stand out.

Great looking shoe, color looks good with jeans or khakis - seems a little dressier than the standard white athletic shoe. Very comfortable, but could use a little more cushion on the bottom if you plan to spend all day standing in them. For normal use, it's fine. Lots of mesh so they breathe well. The material does darken temporarily if it gets wet. As for size, I normally wear a 12 EE in Nike - I found a 13 EE seems to be the equivalent in New Balance, but YMMV. Overall, very happy with this shoe - will likely buy another pair when these wear out.

These are my husbands favorite shoes and he's gone through two pair so far. They hold up really well and don't show dirt and wear nearly as quickly as other shoes he's owned. The only reason he needed pair was because his first pair finally started looking worn but he still wears them to knock around doing outside work.

I've been wearing New Balance 574 sneakers for approximately 20 years. They are always a good looking, comfortable feeling shoe. I have multiple pairs in different colors and I love them all. If you want a supportive shoe that gives you ample toe room and width (I have long, narrow feet), this is definitely your shoe. You may want to order a half size larger because they have been running a bit small the past few years or so.

This was the first 574 I have tried. I needed to get a SL2 last in an EE width because my feet swell and I can't get into the D width 1101's that have been my go to shoe. These are lighter with thinner soles but they fit comfortably. I am 86 years old and I don't need running shoes, just something to get around in that looks decent with anything I wear. These fill the bill for me.

Well constructed shoe, especially for the price, assembled in USA. Very comfortable and easy wear. I did have to get a 12 wide instead of my usual 12 d, but other than that a good shoe.

Probably the best shoe I've ever owned! I'm on my second pair now and will be buying more. Also, Zappos has the best customer service in the universe!

For anyone with issues where the toe bed is narrow, or when a narrow shoe pushes the big toe in, we know that no matter how nice or expensive the shoes, if they don't fit right, you can't wear them. NB is one of the few shoe makers that have married style and ergonomic function to make a great looking comfortable shoe. I will be wearing NB the rest of my life. Thanks NB.

Not only are these shoes stylish, they are very comfortable! Also the customer service is always A+. I may have to buy another pair!

Comfortable shoes and I really like the way it looks. Have been complemented by others as well. It's a little tight in the front at first, but seems to be fine after breaking the shoes.

Great shoe, fits as expected, very comfortable. FYI The orange is very bright, almost a pinkish tint.

Got these for my grandson who has a wide foot and is hard to fit. He liked the style as these 574's did not have the big number on the back. He is tough to find shoes for and these fit his foot.
