What can I say? They're Uggs. Uggs are ugly and they work. They're not waterproof but they are pretty much 100% coldproof which is why I bought them. I live in a climate with cold, dry winters. So these were ideal. But the lining felt cheap. I own three pairs of Uggs (these, the minis and the classics) and unlike the mini and classic, these didn't have that super-soft lining that the other two did. The lining felt cheaper and rougher which was a huge criticism for me and lost the boot 2 stars.

I have two pair of Ugg classic tall women's boots and I love them. The only complaint I have is that within a few months of wearing both pairs, my big toe popped through the top of the boots, which should not have happened for the price. They are really comfortable during the cold winter months, but now I have a hole in the tops of my boots, which lets cold air and snow in.

I am a true 8.5 in shoes. I keep ordering Uggs in different styles from Zappos but all of them have been too small. I have been ordering an 8, 1/2 smaller than my normal sized shoe based on the sizing Uggs recommends and what other reviewers have stated. I keep reading that the fleece inside the boot will smash down and make more room in the shoe. I finally decided that the 8 is just too small. Not only is the inside of the shoe extremely tight on my foot, there is a external seam that runs over the top of the boot that is pressing down on the top of my ankle. I tried wearing the boots around my house but can't keep them on for very long because they are just too tight. I will reorder them in the 9 and hopefully they will fit. Many reviewers are stating order a half to whole size down from your normal size. That isn't always the case.

I bought this boot 10 years ago and bought the version that had the suede on the upper part. At one time, I did order the Brooks tall, to wear them with jeans tucked in and was imagining they would be warmer. There was a noticeable difference in the quality of the interior shearling -- not as plush and thinner overall. Needless to say, I returned the Brooks Tall and kept my trusty Brooks Low and since I only wear them in incredibly cold weather (I wear shearling footbed insert rain boots), they have stood the test of time. The sole is a little clunky but a terrific boot for snow and staying warm. I haven't had an issue with leaking but mine are from 2003.

These boots absolutely do not run large. Do not follow the instructions about ordering down a size - they run small if anything.

I ordered these as a gift for myself because at the time, the actual Ugg website had them out of stock. The arrived pretty fast but when I received them it looked as though someone had already worn them or they were opened and touched prior to me getting them. I not sure if this was just something that Zappos does but one of my other pairs the came from the actual Ugg website didn't look in the same condition. Overall, I love the shoes and would definitely recommend them.

Really cute and soft, but I wanted this to be easy to pull on and off, and it was too snug around the calves. I also ordered a size down, and it was snug but I guess it was supposed to be like that since they say these stretch. It felt great without socks!

They were so tight around my calves and I don't have huge calves. I usually wear a 7 but ordered the 6 and they were just way too tight. There's no way I could get these over jeans like I was hoping to. Very disappointing.

I purchased this item based on the color shown thinking it was a taupe or mushroom color, instead it was more of a sage or light green. Not what I had in mind, therefore returning them. Love the boot, just not the color I had in mind.

The black ones dyed my feet black. Was very disappointed cause really wanted black. Returned them for natural. Like them but can't get them clean. Took them to shoe repair and they said the couldn't either. Put repellant spray on them but still they look really ratty. Haven't worn them for more than one winter season.

The shoes feel cheap. I do not think that they are real Uggs. They did not come with a certificate of authenticity. So are they real? They are bulky. But overall I am happy with them!

This is my 5th pair of Uggs I just got the black classic tall, and today is the second time I wore them, I am used to wear my Uggs with out socks but guess what today I noticed my black new Uggs are bleeding, my feet are totally black, I love the look but I honestly I can't see my self wearing socks every time I wear my new black Uggs, what to do? Return them ? Or just keep it? Don't know if I can return them I already wore them 2 times zappos.com can you advise me please.

I'm not impressed! For the price, my black pair of uggs just do not measure up! Had heard so much hype about this brand, so I finally caved & purchased a pair. Like another review stated, the quality of suede used isn't top notch at all. I'll keep them b/c I need winter boots -- living in the n. East. There isn't much arch support at all. All in all just mediocre product at best. High price tag is for the prestigious brand name.

I usually buy kids size 4 but I decided to go up a size and try the ladies size 5. The ladies 5 was too long and way too narrow. I returned them for the youth size.

I am a 9 and ordered down a size as recommended. They are way too tight so I will have to exchange for a 9! Sad to have to wait. :(

They're comfy, but the sheepskin seemed to stretch, so my foot would slide around with every step.

order a size smaller. I live in these all winter. I also purchased the waterproof spray from Zappos, which i highly recommend. I wear these in Erie, PA. In deep snow... I would not use these for long periods of time in water or snow.

These feel great, but these boots are designed to be worn without socks, hence the comfort. If no socks are worn, your feet are dyed black, and cannot be cleaned without serious scrubbing with either a gritty soap, or a rough sponge. The black will ruin wash cloths, as it will not wash out. I am very disappointed, because I loved them.

Overall I love these boots and they are great for cold days and overall comfort. However, after recently falling on the ice 3 times in the last two weeks while wearing these boots, I have to comment on the traction. I know most people buy these because they are trendy, warm, cute, and in style. However, I've come to realize that the traction on the bottom of these boots is really bad if you live in a climate that has a lot of ice and snow (like I do, in Chicago). The overall surface of the bottom of these boots is waxy and slick, and a recipe for disaster when walking on ice. I tore my hamstring from my most recent fall on the ice while wearing these Uggs, and I've only fallen this winter when wearing these boots. I think the makers of Uggs should consider making the traction better on the bottom of these boots.

When my black Uggs arrived they had a few imperfections as far as looking clean. Now that I have worn them for a few weeks there are more imperfection in the lining. I don't think this is the fault of Zappos. I think it may just be how Uggs are manufactured. I will certainly purchase shoes from Zappos again. The free shipping both ways is a great advantage even with the imperfections.

I suppose that at one point UGGS really were HIGH quality. I will never know because I haven't ever seen or worn a pair from 7+ years ago. Now that they are being made in China, I think we pay a substantial amount of money for boots that just go through the shoe mill. I marked them down on comfort because, obviously, there is no arch support. I also pulled out an old pair of Old Friends boots to sell on Ebay the other day. Hadn't looked at them for years nor worn them for years. I noticed how much thicker the shearling inside was! Probably double the thickness of my new UGGS for less than half the price. They also stand up straight when you take them off (you know, some STRUCTURE). I have them 3 stars on style because I don't think they're the greatest looking boots. I love the chestnut but figured they'd get dirty way too quickly so, what did I do? I ordered the brown. And, even after coating them with a protectant, they still look kind of old after only having them a month! Overall, I decided to review when Zappos sent me an email to do so because I wanted to give my opinion that there is so much hype over these and they are just "meh".

I read a ton of reviews before purchasing these (I bought the light pinkish tall ones that were recently on sale). Not sure of what size to buy, I purchased both the 8 and 9. I typically wear somewhere between an 9-9½ in shoes. The 8 felt good but are just a tad bit too short - my toes touch the front of the boots. The 9 feels huge, almost like they are an entire size too big! I am tempted to return both and get two new pairs of the same size - just to see if by some chance, other pairs fit differently. Otherwise, I will have to return both and settle for nothing. I am very disappointed. The size difference between the 8 and 9 just seems too big.

I love the comfort of this boot. However, the top is a little snug on my leg and I may have to opt for another style. Especially if tucking in jeans.

You can't beat this classic boot for winter comfort and ease. We've had tons of snow and I needed something to wade through it all while keeping my feet warm. These boots never fail in that dept. Within days of getting this pair, I was walking in my driveway and had a stick puncture the toe of the boot, leaving a hole. I've had pairs make it through 3 winters w/ no damage. Zappos replaced them immediately, which was great. I hope the new pair lasts longer.

I thought I'd give Uggs another try after having foot surgery to fix a flat foot/flexible arch problem. Their no comfort/cushion continues but is too noticeable for me. The bottom is very hard and flat. But I did order a 7 vs. an 8 - fit fine.
