Good fit!

1989 was a long time ago and the last time I HAD to have these to be cool. ?. Honestly the nostalgia go to me and at over 40, snagged them on a whim. They’re as comfortable as ever and the arch support is better than most of my sporty sneakers. Since I work on my feet, sneakers are my new fashion item. Good as ever. If you’ve never had them or if, like me, you’re feeling “retro”, I highly recommend them.

Fit true to size

This is my first pair of Sambas. They look and feel great with a few adjustments. I normally take a 13 US wide and I ordered 13.5 per reviews that I had read. This was the right move. By design it is a narrower shoe the 1/2 size helped. Additionally the forward part of the laces needed to be loosened a little but now fit beautifully. The shoes are now super comfortable.

Love the look. I have to use insoles for arch support as Sambas are really flat. Unfortunately it seems every other pair has a serious squeak in one shoe. Annoying, but does go away after a long-ish break-in period.

Theses are the ones with the HUGE tongue! Be warned! They aren’t the “OG” which is exactly the same but with a regular sized tongue. I returned them because I wanted a normal look but I’m sure these are perfect for hipsters.

I’ve been wearing Sambas for over 20 years. When I saw that Zappo’s recommended to order a half size larger on this specific pair, I did. For some reason, this batch runs a little bit smaller than usual.

I’m old (school)! These and Stan Smiths are all I need.

One of my favorite shoes for almost every occasion, even indoor soccer... They do feel narrow but will break in, and they are worth the effort. Ordered the Samba OG first, but, although similar at first glance, they are more hard core indoor soccer than casual.
