My son used to have a pair of these years ago and really liked them, but didn’t realize how long the tongue is on this newer style (didn’t notice it in the product photo). The high placement of the tongue rubs against his shin, and he isn’t a fan of folded-down look. Liked the old style better. Glad for Zappos’ great return policy.

The Samba Classic is my favorite trainer, both for indoor soccer and for just plain hanging out. Incredibly comfortable shoe and it fit precisely as expected. Plus, I recently discovered that the woman of my dreams digs my Sambas as well. She also wears black Adidas trainers! True love... Even if you don't have such a life-changing experience, you do need to own these! :-)

My husband has worn the black Adidas Samba Classic for YEARS and loves them. He wanted a white casual sneaker, so we though Sambas in white would be perfect and they are, but it took a while to get it right. First I ordered him the Adidas Samba Originals, not really know there were different kinds of Sambas. I ordered a 13 the same size of his black ones in the closet and he couldn't even get them on, they were so tight! So I returned them and did a little searching and realzied that he has the classics so I ordered them in a 13, this time he could get them on and he wanted to keep them saying they'd stretch out, but after wearing them about 15 mins in the house he changed his mind. I wish they came in a wide option (not that my husband has wide feet at all...) so I ordered them again in a 13.5 and now they fit and he's happy!

Stylish shoe, but on larger feet, they appeared a little odd (I wear size 12). They were also at least half a size smaller than marked. With socks on, they were rather tight.

The most durable and versatile shoe I've ever owned. Easy to dress up or down, it's a great shoe for work and play. I've played football, soccer, and basketball in this shoe. I've climbed Camelback Mountain in this shoe. I've gone to a wedding reception and church events in this shoe. It might be easier to just name the things you can't do in this shoe because that list is very short. Highly recommended.

The one catch with these shoes is the extremely long tongue. It's longer than most and goes up the front of your foot. I don't know what the purpose is but for my everyday needs, it's just a bit too bizarre for me. If that doesn't bother you or that's what you are looking for, the rest of the shoe is well made and is reasonably comfortable - maybe just a little tight.

Addidas Sambas have been my staple for decades. Now they are made of plastic, not leather.

I've never had a single issue with this shoe. Molds to your foot very quickly. Extremely durable sole that will last for years. Looks great, easy to clean, no unsightly creases where you bend your toes, and comfortable. I'm on my 3rd pair of these and am completely satisfied.

Super comfortable and fashionable. Buy a half size smaller for best fit, especially for soccer players. Great traction and grip when playing.

I buy these shoes all the time for my son. These are the only athletic shoes he will wear and has worn for the last 6 or 7 years. Nice classic style. Zappos is a great company to do business with!

Only shoe husband wears. Has long and kind of narrow feet, other size 14s can be too wide, especially boots.

At first I was concerned that this shoe would be too narrow for my feet (which run average-to-narrow!). However, after walking about 7-8 miles, they fit perfectly! Already they are becoming my favorite shoe. I am really impressed with the amount of arch support! Finally, a nice-looking shoe that is comfortable enough to wear all day.

I am very picky when it comes to shoes. Not only do they have to be stylish, but shoes also have to be comfortable. These Sambas are not only stylish and comfortable, but I love the price! I was so happy with these shoes that I bought them again in black and white.

These shoes are very comfortable and TTS. I use them for indoor soccer, but because of there comfort I will wear them more than just for soccer.

Awesome Classic shoe! I have been wearing Sambas since I was 10 years old. (almost 20 years!). It is definitely a shoe that needs to be worn a lot to be broken in. But once they are broken in they are like an old pair of jeans.

These Sambas were for my 16 year old son; they are his favorite "go to" shoes! He loves them! This is his third pair! (He outgrew his others). As only a teenager would, he even thinks these are "dress shoes" for situations where teachers and coaches say wear dark shoes?!! He loves these shoes!

Ordered these for my husband and he loves them! Fit is true to size. Color mix (tan/white with dark stripes) looks great, very versatile. Already ordered another pair in black with white stripes.
