Shoes look just like the image, and are fairly comfortable to walk and play on turf. I could see how the tongue might bother some people, but since I use these for playing I don't mind.

Bought these for my grandson and he loves them. They arrived in perfect condition and were exactly as described and fit perfectly. Plus were delivered the next day. Will shop with you again and again.

I can't stress enough that these shoes are an excellent value for money. They look absolutely killer with a pair of dark blue jeans! When wearing with shorts, I go sockless with the tongue folded down. I've had these now for about a week and as far as comfort goes - these shoes are excellent for day to day wear with very good arch support as I'm flat-footed. If you're reading this and are on the fence about making the purchase, just do it. You won't be disappointed, especially at the price.

These are comfortable, and they break in without blisters because of the soft lining. Great for a vacation that includes a lot of walking.

Zappos defies time and space almost literally. I have always received an order from Zappos in a very timely manner. I am seldom impressed even though I always appreciate a good faith effort but in this one instance, only, I was stumped. I placed an order in the late evening and received the shoes the following A.M. and this was by regular ol' mail. There is no higher compliment to afford everyone involved. Thank you.

When it comes to an everyday casual tennis shoe for running around town, the Samba Classic has been my tennis shoe of choice for the past twenty-three years. My most recent purchase did not disappoint; however, I do note that those purchasers having low arches may find that the arch support in the shoe provides more support than needed. Overall, an excellent value for a classic shoe.

Good Support - These shorts have the best arch support of any sneaker I've ever owned at a great price. Highly recommended.

Great shoes! This is my sons second pair of these Adidas/Sambas. He loves them and they look great with his school uniform.

Perfection - One of the most comfortable and coolest sneakers I've ever owned. I don't even mind the long tongue! As noted in previous reviews, you should definitely order a half-size larger than what you normally wear.

Great Shoe - This shoe is the best adidas shoe out there. They are extremely comfortable(especially when first purchased), they look stylin' with any wear (shorts, pants) and they have extremely good traction for and mold to your feet (great for playing indoor and street soccer). The only "constructive criticisms" I can think of is that after about five or so months the inside wears out and the soles get holes. (Keep in mind this is after wearing them everyday for 5 months.)

Sweet. This is a really, really great shoe. Looks good, fits good, feels good. Not the best shoe for running, as it doesn't have much cushioning. Still great, though.

Sambas are the awesome everyday shoe! Their look is classic and simple which make it go well with any lifestyle. Comfort is excellent and style is supreme! Sambas are always reasonably priced so they won’t break the bank as well! The ultimate classic shoe!

Best tennis shoe ever - This sleek stylish soccer shoe is one of my favorites. Not only is it extremely comfortable but it is looks great too!

Great shoe for long narrow feet - My son said they are very comfortable fitting his foot completely. Normally the shoes are too wide for his narrow foot, but these fit great. The adidas run a size larger than you so if you normally wear a 5 1/2 you need a 5 in adidas.

Zappos again number 1. Ordered shoes on Saturday, expecting Tuesday delivery, instead, got them Monday. Already had the black sambas. Now I have the white. Love them.

Classic - This classic sneaker looks great with shorts, jeans and even khakis. The past reviews stated that the sizes run larger, so I ordered the next size up- from 7 1/2 to an 8- and they fit perfect. Zappos shipped them right away. I got them 2 days later. I do not know why I waited almost 20 years to buy the adidas Samba classic, they look great, and are very comfortable.

Adidas Samba Classic - This is an excellent shoe. As I have slender feet, the fit is great and they are very comfortable. Adidas shoes are well made and a good value.

Best shoes EVAR! I've been wearing this style Adidas since about 1985, they only get better. Love them. Please Adidas make sure they are available for at least 20 more years.

Great shoe. These shoes look classy, match with everything possible, and best of all they are COMFORTABLE. Once they break in after 1-2 weeks, they become themost comfortable shoes that meld to your stride. I'm in for another pair!

Best shoe ever - Comfortable right out of the box. Zappos is super sweet. Shoe shopping is the worst, but Zappos makes it easy as pie to find sweet shoes for the socially inept.

The best! This shoe feels great right out of the box. Other Adidas I have purchased have been a bit stiff and blister prone, but these were like old friends.

Class Samba, Classic Style - Not much to say that people don't already know. They are comfortable, sometimes a bit narrow but give very quickly, and you can wear them with just about anything.

Classic comfort - These shoes arrived, lightening fast and are exactly as described. I take a size 12 in most all shoes but after reading a few reviews here decided to buy 12 1/2 and glad I did as they seem to run a bit small. The only quirk is the length of the tongue which comes up and presses against my instep. I fold it under and that solved the problem. I suppose one could just cut it off as another alternative. I wear them everyday - I've had these for about a year now, and they're still great. I intend to buy another pair if and when my current pair ever get worn out. I tend to take care of my shoes well so maybe that's why they're still like new after a year, but I think they're also durable since I've worn them in the snow during the winter and they still look fine. One thing to note is that often with low, slim profile shoes like this, pants tend to drag on the ground (if you wear somewhat baggy pants like me). But unless you wear giant bell bottoms, the tongue (you will notice that the tongue seems to stick way up in the picture), when flipped forward, seems to keep the pants from dragging because the front of the pants kind of get "caught" on the tongue. At least for me, I found that to be useful.
