Owned a brand new pair for 9 days before they fell apart. One of the rivets that holds the laces ripped through the boot. The river was not installed with a squash ring on the inside. I sent it to timberland for warrenty. After owning the boots for less than two weeks timberland informed me the boots were over a year old and would not warrenty them. Instead of installing a rivet to fixed the bad one they cost me $17.00 more dollars to ship. I will never buy timberland boots again and I will make sure i stear everyone away from them.

Boot leather separated from sole in two places. Size was a wide, but felt too narrow, causing sore feet.

Bought the Pit Boss steel toe from Sears. Only because i need a non-waterproof steel toe work boot. I did work around my ranch, usual duties. Came home at the end of day while taking off the pit boss boots i seen some separation of the outsole at the heel and front of sole on both boots. It was enough for me to clean up the boots as best i could to return for a refund at Sears. Which Sears happily did the next day. I used to wear timberland work boots in the early 2000s which WERE good boots but not these. Usually i wear red wings to thorogood to danner to chippewa to georgia boots to justin to ariats, will keep with those brands because they have never let me down.

I bought a pair of these exact boots about 4 years ago that were comfortable since day 1. I had zero issues with them and was VERY happy. The only reason I replaced them was because the soles were worn down so low after 4 years of daily use. I never had any problems and told everyone how amazing they were! 2 months ago I bought another pair to replace the worn out pair and well, that was a mistake. I think they must have changed manufacturers or the manufacturing process. They are no longer nearly as comfortable, the back heel rubbed and caused blisters since day 1 and just yesterday a grommet broke off (one of the metal ones!!!!). Very disappointed. Now I will have to send back for replacement and I guess buy another pair in the mean time as I need them for work.

Absolutely terrible boots! The fit was right but they were about the most uncomfortable boot I have ever worn. I wore them for one day and that's all I could take.

Had a pair of these before, lasted me many years working outside, hiking, and work. Bought these from a vendor of Timberland who advertised the 30 day comfort guarantee (which doesn't apply to these boots, FYI). Boots were very very comfortable once over the 1 week or so break in period, but the sole cracked loose from the boot within 2 weeks. I figured it was a fluke, because I was always impressed with Timberland boots in the past (have had other soft toe versions as well), so I requested another pair through Timberland customer service. They sent me another pair and I sent the 1st pair back... broke the new pair in for a week or two, and the soles split off the boot again. Contacted customer service again, and they said send them back for a refund. I waited for my refund for a couple months, but they never issued it. I contacted them again asking for an update, and they said something to the effect that the person I was talking to had left the company and my refund wasn't processed. They sent me a refund in the form of a gift card to Timberland.com. After requested an actual refund so I could buy another manufacturer's boot (because of the quality issues Timberland is having), they said they couldn't do that. Bottom line: I had (2) pairs of boots fail within 2 weeks of standard walking usage in a factory. I had to chase my "refund" for a couple months. I am forced to buy another pair of Timberland boots with my "refund". Very disappointed in their handling of both quality, and refund policy. Will not only not recommend them to others, will account my experience as an extremely dissatisfied customer and recommend they shop elsewhere. Hopefully to a company that treats their customers better...

Bought these after my PRO helix boots wore out. I drive a forklift so they don't see much hard labor, but on DAY 2 of wearing these I have had one of the lace holes fall apart as well as a lace holder fly off. If I could return these I would. They are also very easy to scratch/scuff up. I have multiple ones from 16hours of work. HOWEVER they are very very comfortable (so far). Will be contacting local store as well as Timberland to try to resolve my issues.

After a year of use the soles start to separate at the inner and outer portion about where the foot bends the sole when walking. These were worn mainly for dress the first year while using an older pair for work. the older pair separated in the same location but was reglued by a local shoe repair shop. The repair on the older pair did not work so now I have two pairs of the same boot that separated the sole in the same spot. I have a new pair that is now just a year old that is still being used for Sunday dress due to the snow and ice in my area. Watch out for the soles. I will not buy another pair of these boots as the one year date only warrantee is useless unless you wear them 24/7.

Don’t waste your money. You think you are saving money buying these versus something like and ECCO. You’re not. Spend more than an hour a day on your feet? These boots will cripple you. They suck. Wore these for a year and I can tell you I dumped them in the garbage and swore I would never cheat myself again. Your feet are worth $240. Buy better boots, not these crappy shoes.

bought this boot for work on a paving crew, which means i only use them from april through august. I bought them midway through this period in july ish. Other than paving i dont use these boots very much so when i went to put them on today, i was rudely surprised to see one of the lace grommets fly across the room, all I gotta say is, the carolina lightnings' I bought held up to ten fold more abuse and I still wear them even with no tread. Overall dissapointed with this purchase

I have been buying these for my husband for four years now and he is very pleased with them. He has a small foot size 7 to 8 making it difficult to find in his size but always no problem with Zappos. Perfect fit last months and he works on a ranch.

I work in a warehouse and steel toe are required. Was excited to wear my first pair of Timberlands!! Out of the box they looked good, that was the end of the good. Scuffs and marring in the first few days ended the good looks and this is warehouse not even construction! Hot spots and blisters/ callouses everywhere, inside of big toe, out side of foot, after two weeks on the heel. Spent plenty of money on a variety of socks, came across Herter's and they work best. Called Timberland after three weeks about their 30 day any reason return: Sorry, your style, Pit Boss Pro, doesn't qualify!! I bought them based on an independent review site which said PB Pros have been around over 30 years and mistakenly (so I found out) stated they are covered by Timberland's 30 day return policy. Customer service basically told me to go pound sand! As another reviewer said: I should have known better than to buy work boots from a fashion shoe company. The real bottom line: never again from a manufacturer that doesn't stand behind its product.

Owned a pair of these for three years, then replaced them with the same and they are garbage now. The rivets holding the loops are cheap. First pair broke within a day. Thought it was a fluke so exchanged them, and the second pair did the same thing within a week.

Wear these for riding on my motorcycle. Put them away in the fall and just took them out for my first spring ride and the soles are coming apart and separating. Sounds crazy, but after a few months of sitting in my closet it looks like i stepped in some chemical! Sent them back to Timberland, but it doesn't sound like they stand brhind their products. Was a lifelong customer, but will buy elsewhere!

This was the first time, and the last time, I bought a pair of workboots from Timberland. I usually wear Red Wing boots, but availability and price made me consider these. After only 4 months, the insoles came out all together. Just read another review here from a customer who has had the exact same problem, and apparently Timberland refused to repair them. I should have known not to expect job-site quality from a fashion-footwear company. These are for looks, not work. Go to Red Wing instead. Not only do their workboots last years before the soles need replacing, but Red Wing replaces them for you FREE. If you're going to spend $100+ on a pair of boots, give it to a company that not only stands by their product, but makes a durable and reliable product in the first place. Save your Timbs for the club.

Work and everyday , they are worn out after Year so I ordered a new pair and the boot eye hook came right out as I was lacing them up, called and they aid it will take 6to8 weeks to get a replacement after a evaluation of receiving the boot, we decided were sending it back and buying another brand as we need new boots as soon as possible and Timberland can not accommodate us.

I have been wearing the Pro Series Timberland line for years, this is the first time I have negative feedback. I wore the boots for 2 days, these boots caused blisters on the heels of both feet in the same spot. After the blisters occurred i investigated the design. i found that there is an awful placement of a seam right on the back of the heal that was rubbing. Overall a bad design on the interior of the boot.
