Nice boots but they are definitely not slip resistant. I'm a truck driver and have slipped and fallen twice already with these boots. Once while walking on ice in a parking lot and a second time inside a store on a wet floor.

Everything is fantastic about these non water proof boots except for the width. I'm absolutely not happy with the claim of being 9W but not in reality not a good wide fit just totally narrow no if ands buts about it.
In my opinion it's half inch - 2 inch small depending on type of socks worn. Normally I wear and use mid weight work socks but I've recently tried dress socks as thin as I can buy but no use because the boot doesn't have any give in stretch
Opinion 2 ) Go half size to maybe avoid pinching and just repeatedly hits to sides
I switched from wolverine due too there lack of durability and there so called waterproof boots / shoes sizing is terrible as well
now timberland size issues ughh
2 stars just based on width painful fit
Everything else about them is fine

I work outdoor construction, I first bought a pair of these in 2006, great boots that held up for more than 4 years. I recently got back into the construction buisness and bought another pair, This new pair didn't last 6 months before stitching on side of boot near heel blew out and the first layer of the sole began to separate from the boot. 10+ years ago I swore by these boots, but quality and quality control have certainly gone down hill, I had to try on at least 5 different pairs at the store and all had different flaws to the them until I was able to find a right boot in one pair and left in another that did have flaws.

I work in the concrete trade, the sole is made of 2 parts. I typically climb scaffolding leading with my left foot. The sole splits from the bottom of the boot. I was able to cut the bottom sole off but now there is no traction. Would not recommend if you rely on your boots for safety and make money.

I work in automotive wrecking and I figured these would work just fine, I was wrong. In the first week got a huge gash in the side which pretty much made them not water resistant at all and there's very little support. I bought them in November of 2020 and they are pretty much falling apart. I've had pairs of Vans that have held up to more abuse.

I have been wearing the Timberland Pro Pit Boss boots for years with no issues. The last 2 pairs just did not hold up. The soles failed prematurely and the Timberland warranty personnel denied my claims both times stating "normal wear and tear" even though though they're less than one year old.

Similar to other reviews I’ve read these boots have a very bad ankle rub on the right side. I thought they just might need breaking in, but the issue never improved. Timberland customer service was no help. Only way I salvaged these was to always wear neoprene ankle wraps so that my ankle skin isn’t rubbed raw after a few hour’s wearing. Very disappointing for a timberland product.

I bought the 20th anniversary boot on sale. Even at 30% off the retail price I couldn't keep the boots. They looked nothing like the photo on the website. The orange leather liner is plastic looking and makes the whole boot look and feel cheap.

I had high hope for this boot after reading many glowing reviews. However, I am sorely disappointed. They are not comfortable at all. The toe box feels so narrow and crushed my toes in. Normally I do not get a wide size, but maybe that would help here. The insole feels non-existent and SQUEAKS so loudly. If I didn't already wear them and get them dirty, I would for sure be returning these.

Loved these boots. However after a couple months of near daily use, one of the toes is scuffed through. I work all day doing maintenance and repair so it’s within normal use for me. I’d seen such good reviews I had high hopes of these lasting awhile but for the price and how long they last, I’ll go back to big chain discount store brands.

I bought a pair a week or two ago. They seem comfortable. However, there's a substantial problem which some other reviewers seem to have noticed also. The third eyelet from the top is a steel loop rather than a hook, which the top two attachments are. The loop acts like an eyelet, so there are four eyelets at the bottom. The loop is situated where it's difficult to tightened the four lower attachments -- there's too much friction. The loop should be a hook instead. Using a small hack saw, I actually converted the loops into hooks. Presto: the laces now tighten properly.

Rather disappointed in these boots. When I walk they make a very loud clakcing noise like the bottoms are plastic. They also do not have very good traction for work boots. They fit well but the soles are a big downfall.

After 2 weeks still trying to get the boots broke in. They just do not fit like the other Pit Boss boots I had in the past. The boot I had last was the model #26 which was one of the best I have owned for the money but was discontinued. Not sure why but if made again, would buy them.

Nice looking boot. Too bad they run much smaller than stated and are stiff. Break in period must be months. I'll never buy timberlands again.

Likes these boots at first but that changed quickly. My right boot has a larger seem in the back and it rubs the back of my heel raw. I thought it just needed to be broken in but it never wore the boot in just tore up my heel. The leather on the steel toe portion of the boot also wears and gets torn up very easily (pretty much destroyed). Because of this I no longer wear the boots. Wish they would fix these problems the insoles are very comfortable, boot has good grip and feet arent fatigued at the end of a 12 hour shift (other than my heel).

Use the boots for light work when safety is required. This was the 2nd pair in about 3 years and found this pair to be very stiff and uncomfortable to walk in unlike the first pair. After about a year of light work, only wear the boots a few times per year, the soles began to separate toe and heal. I then realized why the boots were so stiff. The stitching was for looks....as there was no stitching from the boot to the sole....only glue. Going to look around for a reliable boot with no deception as to the construction.

The 4th loop from the bottom is not very conducive to pulling the bottom lace tight. Would have been better off to have put another eyelet hole like the others in the location. I replace that piece with a hook and they lace tight. Otherwise a excellent boot.

Boots are very heavy, and were difficult to break in. I had to alternate wearing them every other day to try and break them in.
After three months, the eyelets broke while lacing them up.
I was expecting more from a high end boot.

These boots simply do not hold up. Have been wearing them for 2 months and the sole is separating, stitching's are coming out, and leather is wearing out.

This is a good work boot for its price, but I don't foresee them holding up in the field for very long. I've owned these boots for only a month and the souls are starting to creak. I imagine they will be separating pretty soon. Also, these boots are borderline dangerous to walk in snowy conditions. The way the tread on the should is designed, there is very little tread to keep the boot from sliding sideways on packed snow. They will lose lateral grip unpredictably, so much that I will be replacing them soon for this reason. One other aspect I do not like is the leather is too soft not very durable. Too many issues popping up within a month of owning these boots. I will not even bother contacting the Timberland. Maybe I got a fluke set but I'm not willing to find out again.
Summary: This is a good "stylish" boot, but I can't recommend them for professional use.
