Most uncomfortable boots I have ever worn. I wore them for half a day of work and had to go home to change. Unfortunately I cannot return them. There are stiff leather "plates" in the heel that dig in to my ankle with every step and the lacing hooks are big hard points for your leg when you kneel down.

Reviewed at Timberland
I was a Diehard boot fan for decades an their quality went out the door. I had always heard good things about Timberlands. They were and are pricey. The main problem I see with reviews are most people post them to early when things are new. I take care of my boots, I do construction yet I don't intentionally abuse them. I try to get one year out of them. This pair only lasted 6 months. The boots ended up falling apart. The strings were the first to go, the rings next and then the soles. As a gift I got the Timberland Pro 6 soft toe and found to be a much better boot.

I've owned 7 pair of Timberland boots and one pair of work shoes. I love the original Timberland boots. This particular type of boot is horrible. I wore a huge blister on my leg where the collar of the boot meets the leg. I read a review that there is a seam inside of the boot near the ankle that rubs and makes it uncomfortable. I should have listened. The review was dead on. This is one of the most uncomfortable boots I've ever worn. Buyer beware!
I'd also recommend:
Stick to the original Timberland boots.

Bought these in June 2012, medium use and an eyelet has broken. Not good for a work boot at this price.

Unfortunately I have to give these only one star. After a few short months the mid sole came loose. The bottom of the sole was not even worn smooth yet. I probably should have returned them but instead I took them in for repair. Although they are very comfortable I will not be buying these again!

Boots are awful - bought 2 pair brand new. I gave them away because they ruined my feet. Pains all over the sides of my feet and ankle. The person I gave them away to threw them away with the same complaints. Never again!

I had to quit wearing these shoes because by the middle of the day I suffered such fatigue in my feet and legs from these shoes. I have never owned a pair of shoes that did that to me. Now I have a pair of shoes that sit here collecting dust. I am very disappointed with Timberland shoes!!!!
