Rugged and long lasting. Very heavy. But biggest issue was very uncomfortable ankle rub just under right ankle. Feels like part of heel mold not placed correctly. Will actually rub through skin with extended wear. Solved issue only by wearing a neoprene ankle wrap over sock. This is a disappointing flaw in a Timberland boot.

These boots are very stiff, takes awhile to break in. Not comfortable on the ankles, cannot tie them up tight, no padding on the ankle. Would not buy the 6" again, might try the 8" boot the next time. Looking for a 6" boot that is comfortable and easy to slip on and off. Timberland Pro boot has a good reputation and have owned a few in the past, but not too happy with these.

I ordered these to replace a pair of Timberland Pro Boondock 6" that wore out in 5 months. Was hoping to break these in and give them a proper go at work in the coming weeks. When the order was delivered I immediately brought them inside and tried them on. Wouldn't you know that the shoes are smaller than I expected. What fit perfectly in Timberland Pro Boondock 6" boots, feels like its a full size too small. Its also a bit tough for me as if any manufacturer made a size 12.5; I'd be the perfect candidate for them. For now, lesson learned, buy both sizes and return the one that doesn't fit. It's just aggravating to now have to wait for another boot to show up and also wait for the refund of this one

The fit overall was true, with ample toe space, which was great. These boots are durable. They are also comfortable for the most part. One problem I had with them is the reinforcing around the ankles caused them to chafe the lower part of my ankles. The boots also feel 2x heavier than I felt they should be. I would not buy these boots again.

Heels started coming off after a year & 2 weeks. Timberland would no warranty the shoe due it was 2 weeks over warranty gave a $20 GIFT CARD. Pretty sad in my opinion. I did not want a full replacement but something a little more than $20 dollars.

Ordered a 7.5 in mens which usually fits. This pair was so tight even with thin socks. I work in cold conditions daily so thin socks aren't even an option. 60seconds on my feet and I knew they weren't going to work out.

Nice boot the only issue is that the 2e that I normally wear through other manufacturers is too narrow . Will be returning.

For some reason these feel wider than all my other Timberland boots. Comfortable with a thicker sock but a would probably get a different model in the future.

I was displeased with the item. I wore these work boots to workand unfortunatly made it so I couldn't return them There is a part on the outside of right foot that rubs and causes pain to my foot that at present I cant wear them.

Not a horrible boot but my Rigmaster are twice as comfortable. I'm hoping they get better with some more break-in time. They are OK for the money but expected more comfort from timberland.

I wore them for construction work while in school (lab work) for quite a few years. Mostly for safety reasons. I did mixed/casted a lot of concrete almost every week so they got wet/dirty all the time. I remembered they were advertised as being waterproof when I bought them which they were...until they weren't. No longer see that in the current product description. So, that's fair. I put them back in the original box and kept them in shoe closet after I graduated. And the next time I needed steel toe shoes, the soles literally disintegrated (see pictures). I search Google to see if I can get them repair and found out that others had the same problem with these shoes. It seems to be a problem with other shoe brands too from what I found on the web. Even for casual/dress shoes. Seems like shoe makers opted for cheaper/lower quality materials. Makes me sad that I have to throw them away as the leather is still in rather good shape after these years. They were also quite comfortable for steel toe safety shoes too. All in all, I would still recommend these after the fact. At least, mine lasted for several years.

One of the boot hooks on my Timberland boots is and has been loose since I received them. I thought about returning them, but according to some of your reviewers they say that they put in complaints, but you guys never respond. Is that a proper way to treat your customers? It makes me wonder if i should by from your company again is it the staff that isn't doing their job on the complaints or is it the company president that's not doing his or hers? sincerely me.

The appearance, fit and size were all great. However the way the lace eyes designed are horrible. The top two lace hooks are not designed well. The laces do not stay looped around the loops. No matter how tight I tighten them or how I try to configure them the laces do not stay on. I’m literally having to stop every 10 minutes to retie my boots.

I use these in a warehouse environment and most of the time I am walking. I thought they would be comfortable but the insoles from them did not last my shift. I got them because I like how they look and they'll last. I would recommend they improve the insoles to be more comfortable.

I use these in a warehouse environment. Obviously they aren't steel toe but that's because we can't wear those. At first they felt comfortable but the insoles didn't help enough after my 8hr shift. My main concern were the insoles which is why I bought some new ones from Dr. Schouls for work boots. So far they feel better than the ones that came with the boots. I love the oil and slip resistant on them. I step on water almost frequently and they hold up.

This shoe is very good quality but I barely used them and one of the rings the laces at the top go through broke. I see other people had this problem. Other than that they are pretty good

Not sturdy enough for a work boot so I wanted them for a daily shoe but they were way too narrow. It's too bad because I really like the look
