My husband loves these boots. This is the third time buying them. He likes the comfort and I like the fact that they are durable. We buy a pair every other year. The part he doesn't like is breaking them in. It takes him about a week then he's happy with then all over.

I am a remodel carpenter involved in all sorts of construction activities. Climbing ladders, cruising wheelbarrows, climbing scaffolding, demolition work, you name it. These boots are the best. I read a couple bad reviews here about quality and I dont understand. Im about to get my 20th pair and I have never had ANY PROBLEMS with build quality of boot. It feels like a tennis shoe, its that light and comfortable. The only reason I buy them frequently is I do a lot painting and they end up looking bad before they wear out. I dont even look at other boots , I just get more of these!

I buy these for my husband every year and he wont wear anything else for work. he works with farming equipment and other boots can't with stand the weather. These boots hold up the soles don't pull apart in the heat and water. They are comfortable as soon as he puts them on. He has been wearing no other boot for at least five years now and once we found them at Zappos this is pair number three from them. The first three years my husband wore the lighter unoiled boots but the last two we purchased were the oiled ones and he feels they hold up better as he woks outside a lot.

I use these boots in rail yards and rights of way walking on stable and unstable surfaces, inside rail cars and outside on ROW ballast climbing stairs and ladders. These boots are very comfortable, so much so I look forward to putting them on. These are the lightest STB's I have even worn, even compared to Sketchers STB style running shoe. I would recommend to any and everyone. I would buy another pair, even if the soles fell off. I replaced the laces with longer laces so I could put an extra half-hitch between eyes to keep the laces pulled tight when tying and to prevent the knots from coming undone.

I was hoping for more comfort, but they do what I expected... keep water and dirt out.

These look like nice boots but they are too "stiff" for what my husband needs.

I have wide feet so needed to get a boot that fits my wide feet. These were perfect. The size was great and very comfortable. I would recommend these to anyone with wide feet.

I wear these boots all the time, everyday, whether to work, shopping, or anything else I do. I have bought these for many years already, and they always have held up, and are very comfortable. They are the only footwear I use because of the comfort and support on my ankle, which I broke years ago. The ankle support is great! I will continue to buy these boots as long as Timberland makes them available!

My BF was happy with these work boots. He said they were very warm. We just purchased a new work boot this pair lasted almost two years!

Bought my first pair at Sears in 2003 working in a warehouse. Now I work for the city in public works. I am a underground utility inspector. I visit several jobsites a day.. I've gone through 5 or 6 pair of Tim's PRO and have also tried other boots. Some more expensive, mostly some less expensive.. But Always come back to Tim's because it's the best bang for the buck. Comfortable and long lasting.. need I say more.

I bought these boots for work and they are my top pick. I once tried straying from them with the purchase of different work boots and found myself returning them within 1 day.

I have been wearing this style boot to work for the last few years. I switched from the regular 6" pro to the pit boss a few years ago and although I like the other boot these just feel more comfortable. I am on my feet on the job about 12 hours a day and I couldn't ask for a better boot.

These Timberland Pro 6" Pit Boss Soft Toe boots have been comfortable from the first time I put them on. They are not too heavy to work in and yet are sturdy and supportive.

These boots are just exactly "right". I'm not working on construction sites, but I like boots, and I wear them almost every day. These are comfortable enough for everyday wear, and tough enough for my kind of middle-aged-American-man-building-in-his-back-yard kind of lifestyle. It's the perfect workboot for those of us who aren't employed in the trades.

My work time is split between the field, the office, and the test lab and these boots are great in any of these settings.
After initial break-in (2-3 days) these boots just keep getting better. I can spend 10-12 hours on my feet and feel great. Excellent comfort and support.
Comfort of mind knowing I am protected from electrical shock, oils, and impacts.
Of course try them on first - everyone's feet are unique. I tried the Direct Attach first and not a good match. You have to find the boots that agree with your feet! I did and these are it!
Even if my company allowance won't cover the entire cost, I will kick in the rest knowing I will have slipper-like comfort all day, everyday.

I bought my first pair probably around a year and a half ago. I put these boots through complete and utter hell. Most of it was land clearing. Being ankle deep in mud and muck. They held up! I'm now in residential construction and they're more than I need.

I spend 10 hours on my feet every day working at a large industrial manufacturing facility. These type of boots are required (safety toe), but after a shift of work my feet still feel good enough to hit the gym on the way home. I walk through syrup, hot water, milling buproduct, and the boots keep on truckin'. I recommend them. I buy a pair annually due to company allowances and have built myself a nice stockpile of them for years to come.

I have owned at least 5 pairs of these boots for work over many years and love them. they can stand up to all the oils, ink, and solvents that a press room can throw at them. THATS WHY I keep coming back.

Feel Great and Look Great! These boots are sweet. They do run big, at least a full size. I wear a 12 sneaker and 11.5 in most of my other boots. Had to order an 11 in these. I wear these casually and love them.
