great sandals, amazing quality and foot support - I just received my Birkenstock Arizona(black suede) sandals. Ordered friday 9-22, received monday 9-26. They are great! Taking a cue from others reviews here I ordered 1 size lower and they fit perfect. Now I just have to break them in which I will be doing in the coming days. You get what you pay for, quality built and should last me 5 years or more so for the price it's worth it.

I wore Birkenstocks for many years when I had a job in a bakery that kept me on my feet all day. I don't think they're a great walking shoe and can be a bit awkward for driving, but they are still my shoe of choice for kitchen work, housework in general, and any other work that involves a lot of standing. They last for years--much longer than they look spiffy, i.e., you will appreciate having your well-broken-in pair to wear around the house long after you want anyone to see you wearing them in public.

The single best shoes in the world the ARIZONA - Birkenstock Arizonans are so indescribably PERFECT that I actually feel "sorry for" all the folks in the world who have never known about them nor tried them. Try just one pair, perfectly sized for yourself, from this wonderful company, ZAPPOS.COM, and you would give up ANYTHING, before you would go without your Arizonans. I shudder when I think back through all the years of my life, before I bought my first pair of Arizonans....These shoes literally changed my life!! Don't go another day without breaking in your own pair.....for me there IS NO BREAK IN TIME .... just a heavenly foot massage with every step.

Birkenstock Sandles - I have owned about 20 different pair of Birkenstocks in my lifetime and have never been disappointed in them they are as comfortable as anyone could expect.

Relief in the form of an Birkenstock Arizona sandal - After shopping around and not finding the right color locally, I went to the Zappos site and ordered the Arizona in natural leather. Break-in was about 20 hours and now they're like a dream to put on! Plus the look is now hip, in a strange sort of way! And Zappos sent them in two days!!

Birks are great! Old favorite- needed replacing.

How do I love Zappos? Let me count the ways... Starting with any shoe I desire at my door, in my size (11 Womens), in less than two days, great price, no shipping, and no questions asked on returns (or shipping for that matter) I tell everyone about this website. Having large feet all my life, it is so nice to finally have choices in colors, styles and heels! The Birkenstock's that I just got are the best! Bought them for an upcoming trip to Disney World. They are so comfortable! I have a slightly wide foot and I have the buckles tightened all the way and they still could use another hole, so you might want to order a narrow if your foot is not usually wide.

Happy feet! I ordered these shoes because I had Ecco sandals for two years and all of a sudden my inside heel hurt. So I used Zappos and in two days my feet felt fine again. I ordered narrow width by mistake and when I noticed, the shoes were all ready on the way. So I read the reviews and about half said shoes were wider than expected. Well, that was true for me also and now I don't want to take them off.

Patsy Fletcher Review - I have never been able to find shoes that fit well and are comfortable. Birkenstock's Arizona provided sandals that are comfortable and fit well from the first time I wear them. The service is the best.

ARIZONA - I love this shoe - have three pair. I did learn tho that they run large to size, so I have to order a size smaller and in narrow instead of regular.

Please realize that these should fit very snug in the begining as they will stretch.I normally wear a 9 reg. shoe in womans and I needed to order an 8.5 narrow. But love the shoe!

Great - The sandal is just what I expected. I've had them before, so knew what I was getting. My problem was finding them in a store in the color and size where I live (Washington, DC area). The shipping was unbelievable. I ordered on a Sunday afternoon and had the sandals on Tuesday. The one store that would order them before me said it would be six months. Thanks.

My last pair of Birkies survived 10 years of punishment before they finally disintegrated. Hikes, remodel work, beach walks, river walks. After a couple of years they conform so well to my feet that nothing feels as comfortable. Zappos service was super-fast. Had my new shoes within 2 days which was good since my old ones literally fell to pieces. Birkies are good value for the money--how many shoes will last through 10 years of abuse with no repairs? Birkies tend to run slightly large and wide, so when in doubt, order down. I order narrow width.

Very comfortable , was suggested to order a size smaller than normal--which was helpful and true. Attractive for a birkenstock.

Arizona Comfort - I just bought my second pair of Arizonas in ten years. The arch support and understated appearance are exactly what I need. I don't wear them to work, but outside of that, the only other time I don't wear them is in the snow. The ease of stepping in and out of them makes them very convenient and comfortable.

Feet Friendly! I have owned several pairs of these white arizonas--I use shoe paint to get the color I want--and everyone wonders where I get my birkies! My current favorite is my bright pink pair--in style and comfort ALWAYS!

Replaced 6 yr. old Arizona's - my fault. If I had had the originals re-corked (as directed by Birkenstock) they would still be on my feet! Instead I didn't and had to replace them. The originals have been from Boston to Chicago to LA and would still be on the go. Now the replacements will travel with me in the fall (with socks) and in the summer we go bare. Love my Birks'... comfy, stylish and easy to pack.

My Feet Refuse all Others - My third pair of Arizonas. Every summer morning as I prepare for the day, I look in the closet at my collection of shoes, try on several pairs with what I'm wearing, and end up in the Arizonas. It's out of my control...my feet insist on their comfort and look. "Regular" width is perfect for wide Fred Flintstone feet like mine. "Narrow" is a standard B width. A note on sizing: Birkies sizes are not accurate, though Zappo's reps have insisted otherwise to me. I wear an American 6-6.5. In Euro size, that is a 37. But in Birkenstock's it is a 36. My Arizona 36 is the same length as all my American 6.5s and my Reiker 37s. Buy one size smaller than usual!

Great Fit and foot protection after foot surgery. I'm on my second pair of Arizona......my surgeon suggested wearing these shoes when I could get out of a walking cast/boot after foot surgery. They feel so good on both feet with the arch support and non-binding of my toes, I wanted a second pair. Love them both!

Arizonas - I just love the shoes (Birkenstock Arizona)but I've been a Birkenstock fan for a long time and these did not disappoint me.

Just what I wanted! I use these sandals as house shoes, replacing a somewhat similar pair, made by Clark's, which I had had for many years and was very sorry to see finally worn beyond repair or further use. The Birkenstock Arizonas are a worthy replacement and I am fully satisfied with them.

My white Birks - I love my new shoes. However they do run big, but I don't think I could wear a smaller size. I generally wear a 7.5-8 in sandals and I bought the 38.

Made for walkin' I bought these for my son for a trip to Europe. We did alot of walking and at first he did not like the "look". But, in Europe, we saw many people with them on and he ended up loving them for their comfort. I would recommend these to anyone who is looking for a good quality, comfortable shoe.

Runs larger and wider than they should - My foot slides forward in this style. It's too bad because Arizona has the most color choices. My foot doesn't slide in NEPAL. I need to think of a solution for this because of the new fall colors! I ordered the narrow. I fell Birkenstock runs wide. This show also runs a little longer.
