Good arch support I ordered these shoes for my mother-in-law whose arches fell, and she's been having a lot of pain. These are great "wear around the house" shoes because you can just slip them on. My mother-in-law has always preferred to go barefoot in the house- but no longer! So, these will be comfortable in the house, yet provide great arch support.

35 Satisfied years! I've been a happy wearer and satisfied customer of Birkenstock sandals even since I first discovered them in California 35 years ago. Nothing else feels as good, lasts as long, and gives such great support. Since I live in a warm climate, I have the great advantage of being able to wear these sandals year round. I wouldn't consider any other.

15 pairs of Birkenstocks in different colors and styles - I swear by Birkenstocks. I'd been looking for shoes in a wine/burgundy color, and here they are! Comfortable, last forever, and well made. What else do I need in everyday shoes? Since the Arizona style is fully adjustable, the width will be just right.

Comfortable footwear- It's very important to wear comfortable footwear. Birkenstocks are great in comfort and quality. I was very pleased with Zappos for providing timely delivery of the Birkenstocks I ordered for my son. He loves it. I should have gone to zappo.com before I wasted hours of precious time from one store to another to find the style and size I needed. Awesome- Birkenstock Arizona sandals are the most comfortable shoes I've ever owned. Definitely worth the money! Though, the only complaint that I'd have is that I've had my sandals since June 2005 and now here in October 2005 they're very worn.

These are great - I wore the same style for the past 4 years, including 8 months trekking all over a very soggy UK, and they finally wore out. New ones are as wonderful as the old ones!

What can one say, Birkenstocks are the way to go. They are always so comfortable. This is a replacement pair, because I had worn the sole off my other pair. I love them. I wear them all the time, summer and winter.

Lasts forever!!! I bought this same exact shoe for my mom 10 years ago. She is still wearing them every day, but they are finally not nice enough to wear out and about. This is the second pair and they are just exactly the same. A great shoe. I do wish you could carry the soft footbed in this style.

As Always - Have been wearing Birkenstock Arizonas for many years. This is my third pair in this style, and my absolute favorite year-round sandal - with socks inside here in Virginia during the colder winter months. The minute I slide my feet into them, it is the same as the pair I have just finished wearing out, which by the way, I have been wearing for fifteen years! I do not throw the old ones out. For some crazy reason, I hold on to them. I am a retired teacher and plan on wearing this great shoe until I leave this Earth or take them with me if I can. I can't imagine being any place without them.

It feels like they got butta inside- I have to say, at first these things kinda hurt. But after about three days of non stop wearing they feel so good! I have Morton's Toe and these support my feet in the right places and help to improve my slouching tendancies. It feels so good to dig my heels in and stretch towards the sky. I swear alot of people wouldn't be so grouchy if they had these.

Such great shoes. Took a while to wear in .. in order to not get blisters.

COMFORT!! I have had some trouble with heel spurs and this sandal has helped with the heel pain. I did have to order a smaller size as the 40 was just too big. The 39 was just fine.

These sandals RULE! There is no sandal more comfortable, durable or practical! This is the reason Birkenstock has been around so long and appeals to all audiences!

Heaven in a Shoe - Birks are worth the money. I've bought 4 pairs of Birks (and many pairs of cheap fakes). By far the Birks outlast and outperform the fakes. They take a while to break in... and definitely invest in the footbed cleaner. On this shoe: the upper strap digs a little into my ankle (it goes up that high on my foot; and while I asked for narrow, it seems wider than the pair of papillos that I have in size narrow. I like loose sandals though, so it works for me. I like the look of the oiled leather... definitely refines the laid back look of the Birks.

Birkenstock Arizona - women's review - I had a pair of Bass sandals that "look like" Birkenstock's. I have loved them and have not been able to replace them. I paid an high price for these and they are not as comfortable and they are much more cloddy than the Bass ones I had. They tend to run big - I am a US size 7 and my Bass sandals were 7's but the Euro 38's are bigger and I probably could have gone with a 6-6.5 (37) instead. I wore my old sandals every day every where...

Best sandals a person could think of buying - Some people have said that Birkenstocks are far too expensive. I own several pairs of these shoes and can testify that over the years, I would have paid as much, if not more in purchasing cheaper shoes, because the Birkenstocks wear like iron, and do not wear out. I have both sandals and clogs and would not purchase anything else in that type of shoe ever again.

Birkenstocks seem to get larger and larger. First time ever that I went down to a 42 from my usual 43-44. And I also had to exchange regular width for narrow--I expect most people would find Birkenstock's "narrow" more than wide enough.

Great Shoes - Love Birks - this is about my 14th pair. Birks are great. What I don't understand is everyone saying to order down a size. I typically wear a 7.5 in dress shoes, 8 in an athletic shoe or boot. I buy a 38 in Birks. For this particular Birk I went UP a size to a 39 because I wanted to wear them with bulky socks for fall and winter. They are fine. A little wider than my regular 38, but if I had gone down to a 37, they would not have been a good fit. My feet do run a bit narrow too. I say, stick with your normal size. Enjoy.

Great Birk's- I have been wearing Birk's for over 10 years--and this is a great, comfortable sandal. You won't regret the purchase. Great delivery from Zappos-I received them the following day after I placed my order--with no added delivery charges!!!

I own 5 pairs of arizonas. They are my favorite shoe.
