Mary Jane for wide feet - There is not much to pick from when you have a wide foot (for women anyway). This Mary Jane is sort of stylish but also a little orthopedic looking and clunky. It did not feel like a 2E shoe but it fit O.K. I would have liked it a touch wider. I wore it with pants and it looked fine, I'm sure it would look good with a longer skirt, too. I do alot of walking in my work and my feet did not hurt at all. The only problem I had was that the back of one shoe rubbed the back of my ankle, but that seemed to have resolved. All in all, an OK shoe.

Good walking shoe - I bought these for an upcoming trip to Europe. They are comfortable and have good arch support which I need for plantar fasciitis. My only criticism is that they are a bit “noisy” when I walk.

Great shoes for walking or standing - I found these shoes to be exactly what I need for a part time job where I stand on my feet or need to walk around the mall. I have orthotics for my tennis shoes but finally found a shoe that they fit in that is not a running shoe. I have bad ankles and these shoes make standing or walking on hard surfaces much easier. Love them and plan on taking them on my next trip to London.

My Propét mary jane walker - When I first received my mary janes, it didn’t fit my usual size, so I had to place a new order. When I got the new pair (a size bigger than the usual), it was a perfect fit. Although it should be a little bit bigger since I’m going to wear them with socks because I’ll be using it as my school shoes. At first, it was comfortable. But as hours pass by, it starts to ache a little bit. But then the next time I wore it, it didn’t ache at all. The wideness of the shoe is a little bit narrow so you might want to order a wider size as your usual. It looks ok although it’s too plain. So I tried making it look livelier by putting some rhinestones.

Propet' Mary Jane Walker is my new friend - This is a very good shoe, the color and shape are great for summer. My only problem is an old surgical scar and slight boney protrusion at the base of my left great toe. Unless I wear a sock or a small piece of adhesive tape over it, the shoe rubs right there. Right shoe/foot-no problems...Comfort. I do a lot of walking in my profession.

Cute Shoe - More Toe Room for 8.5 - Adorable shoe. Makes my feet look small. Strap is cute. Overall with orthotics: comfortable, however being a 8.5 I need more toe room. The toe is very rounded and it crowds my right big toe. Maybe order a half size up, or I'm going to take it to a shoe shop and have more toe room added. Looks great with skirts.

Comfortable with socks - I really like these shoes, but they are best with socks & I wanted to wear them with nylons. The left shoe rubs where the strap goes across, on the right side of my foot.

Great nurse's shoe - I can wear this from work (nurse in a shelter) to the playground to church. A great true to size shoe.

Anti-Mary Janes - I have not owned Mary Janes since I was a child and thought they belonged on my 6-year-old or my mother. Decided to try them since they both think this is such a comfortable style. These in my usual size, a 6 1/2 W felt too narrow in the toe at first, but I had surprisingly little urge to take them off. Another reviewer mentioned they will stretch. The sole is quite comfortable.

First time Propet buyer - Normally US sizes do not fit, especially in C or Wide widths. This shoe fits! Very comfortable, I kind of like the velcro strap, but it's very plain - maybe just to slide the end of the strap into a buckle would be prettier. I have only bought Dr. Martens up until this purchase; other brands NEVER fit, but these do!

Excellent shoe - I am very pleased with this shoe. It is very comfortable and practical. My orthotics fit well inside the shoe.

Spring shoes - comfortable, the whiter looks clunkier than the brown suede nodel

Comfortable but frumpy - Comfortable and nice adjustable velcro strap for walking; also nice thick spongy heel, but unfashionable with the oval toe; sort of orthopedic looking

I bought the shoes for my 11 year old daughter who takes an 11 wide. It is difficult to find shoes for her that still look like they were made for a child and not an older adult. The Propet Mary Jane Walkers fit the bill. My child was happy so that makes me happy!

Great style if you don't have a high instep - I love the look of these shoes and they felt great on my feet until I wore them for a few hours. I have a high instep and they started to hurt around the top seam.

Great shoes - I was really glad to find these shoes in the right size - they are not easy to find in the stores. They look nice and fit nice.

Dressy shoe you can walk in- Could be cuter, but very comfy. Looks good with jeans or a long skirt. I wouldn't recommend them with dress pants because you may look like your grandma. If you have to dress nice and walk a lot, I highly recommend these. My one gripe is that the strap isn't long enough so when you cross your feet, you snag your tights on the Velcro.

A great Mary Jane, except... I am completely hooked on the style and ease of wearing Mary Janes. However, on first wearing this particular shoe, the construction right at the point where the strap slips into the buckle, once fastened to the Velcro, rubs and hurts my upper tarsal bones right under that buckle. With thicker socks, it isn't too bad, and I still hold hope that with some wear, that discomfort will disappear. I like the built in arch support since I have high arches.

Good fit - comfortable - could have used a longer velcro fastener; the strap is long, but velcro ends before end of strap.

Propet Mary Jane Walker - The shoes look nice, not as clunky in the picture. I like the velcro strap easy on and off. I just wish they had more of a arch support. But with an arch insert they fit fine.

Finally.. a shoe that fits - Well, searching Farborn, Ohio for a black dress shoe to fit my feet and finding not one single 10.5 size shoe... I went to Zappos and not only did I find a shoe I like.. it fits great... and Zappos gave me better customer service than anywhere else.

Propet Mary Jane Walker - This shoe felt a little tighter on the top of my foot than the same shoe, same size in nubuck. I think it will stretch and become as comfortable as the nubuck version. Since I add my orthotics to my shoes I cannot really comment on the arch support. I was expecting a different Mary Jane style by Propet, but since I like both of them and have both styles, it did not matter when this one arrived. The speed with which I received the shoes was delightful!

Overall happy w/ product - I had some trouble breaking in these shoes (I walk a lot in my profession)and am still sporting a heel band-aid. I wish they were a little more square-toed. I have wide feet and got the D size which fits well everywhere but at the toes. I've been wearing them for about a week now, have acclimated and am finding them quite comfortable.

More attractive than most extra-extra wide shoes. I bought them to wear with orthotics to protect an injured toe, and wish they didn't have the slightly built-up heel to keep that extra pressure off my toe, but under other circumstances I'd probably appreciate that feature as more flattering. I wish the leather felt softer.
