It's a great shoe but ultimately my wife felt like they made my feet look big. it is wide on the front. I went with another style of Rockport that looks a little more tapered.

Very comfortable for my 11 yo. Just a bit too long for him. Ordered the next size down. They are really beautiful shoes.

Wide and comfortable...

It's difficult for me to find shoes that fit. I have small but wide feet, so I try to find shoes as wide as possible. An additional issue I have to deal with is that I also need to fit prescrition orthotics in the shoes. The Rockport Margin shoes are excellent. They are true to size for my 7.5 W feet, and they easily fit my orthotic. My first two pairs (black and brown) lasted about five years, but I wanted newer pairs. I bought this brown pair and another black for four pairs so far. I'll continue to get them if they are avilable. I noticed one thing that was peculiar. This brown pair had different inserts than my other pairs. The other pairs had a thick, cushiony insert that had a gel-like quality. They were very comfortable The insert in the brown pair was different, and it was mediocre. Since I remove the inserts in favor of my orthotics, it didn't matter much to me. However, it might matter to other people.

Half size larger and older design/style but overall felt comfortable.
