Nice look; a little wide - The look is quite good. I like the square toe. The shoe is not as narrow as other size N shoes I have had. The sole is quite comfortable; however, because it is somewhat wide for me, it is not overall as comfortable as it might be.

This is the second time I ordered this same pair of shoes from Zappo's. The first time, the shoe was absolutely perfect. The size was exactly what I needed and expected. The second time, I ordered the exact same shoe in the exact same size, and it feels at least a whole size too small! Although I love the design, construction, and appearance of the shoe, there needs to be much better quality control over size consistency.

Nothing against this shoe, but it seemed a little small for the size indicated and the color (brown) was quite a bit lighter than shown in the photos on the website.

I've owned dozens of Rockports over the years, including several pairs of Margins. As much as I like them, these shoes have been degrading in comfort over the years. They used to be comfortable out of the box with no break in period. My latest pair isn't very comfortable and the leather hurts my ankles. Also, the footbeds aren't nearly as comfortable as they were. I see all these great reviews and I've owned at least 10 pair of these, but Rockport needs a little tough love about their degrading comfort and quality.

These ran a little small in size and width. Also, the shoes squeak on tile floors so they are not so great for the office or otherwise. I also have Rockport's World Elite Encounter shoe and it fits fantastic. The leather is a little soft, however, so it is more of a comfort shoe than an office shoe. I’m still looking for a good office shoe for a wide foot.

They were very comfortable but they were not dress shoes, more like dress casual. I can't wear these with my suits.

Bought for my husband who needed 3xwidth. He's very happy with how comfortable they are right out of the box. However, I can hear a squeak in one of the shoes when he walks. This happened on the 2nd time wearing so cannot return. The "last" must have broken internally and shoe repair shops cannot fix. Disappointed since they were not cheap.

These felt true to size, but there is not much padding on the back of the ankle and it rubbed the wrong way.

I was very disappointed in this purchase. The shoes were larger than the marked size in both length and width. I can usually get by with a "b" width if I put an insole in the shoe. My feet are still swimming around in this pair. I can't really comment on arch support since my feet don't feel supported at all.

I bought another Rockport product that I was very happy with. I have a narrow foot (15 N) and was pleased with my first Rockport product. I ordered the Rockport Margin in 15 N and it was too large and too wide. The shoes were also uncomfortable when I laced them tight, but this could be a sizing issue. I had hoped Rockport would be consitent in their sizing.

This shoe has not lasted like others of this brand and style. The sole one one shoe separated from the top in April/May for first time when they were only 6-7 months old. My husband bought special glue to glue it back on since they weren't very old but they came apart again recently so he glued them again. This shoe is not worn every day as he has it in black that he wears as well. This has been very disappointing

During rain soak water like sponge. Substandard leather.

The shoes came in a different box and the left shoe looks wore. It has what looks like grease spots. The shoes do not feel true to size. I wear a 12M or 13N depending upon the shoes. The 12M was too tight and a bit short. This shoe is a 13N was and too long and wide.

Do not buy this one! Unless you work on a carpet, sitting at the desk most all day, do not buy this shoe. The sole wore out within 3 months, as it seems to be made of foam rubber. I have bought Rockport for years, and have not had this happen. Always been good luck, but not this one! I asked Zappos if they would take a return on an item that failed so miserably, and no response! Do not like Zappos anymore, but I am sure they will not print this review! Paid full price, too!

Very poor! Sole falls apart! I would not recommend this shoe. I have had it 6 months, and the sole is actually falling apart in the middle / sides / and all over. I have always had many Rockport shoes, and never has this happened, so it is not the way I use them. I am using them in a Sales / White Collar job, and not hard on them. Do not recommend this shoe! Also, I did not save the box for 6 months, obviously, so I am out my money - not worth buying!

Like all Rockports made in the last few years the heel will wear down to unwearable in about three months of wearing every other day. Expect the laces to need replacing after a couple of months. I won't be buying Rockports again after three consecutive inferior pairs, pity they were one a quality shoe maker, but no more.

I love these new I love these new Rockport shoes. They are very comfortable, arrived really quickly, and there was no shipping charge. I "broke them in" over two days, and since then I have used them on two long walks, of four miles each. Thank you Zappos!

shoes are very comfortable

Runs about true to size. These shoes are a more comfortable than most other dress shoes. They have about 1" to 1.5" rise, which is about right. Soles are a bit too grippy for dancing, but good for most other activities.

Very comfortable to wear for hours!

Last pair lasted me almost 5 years. I expect great things from this new pair too. They fit great so far.

Rockport shoes never fail to satisfy. One of my favorite brands as they make shoes that accommodate my extra wide foot!
