Narrow for being a 4E. I usually wear size 15 4E, but can get away with a 14 4E from time to time. This was not one of those times.

Great looking shoe, but felt too narrow on my foot. If you don't have wide feet you might love this shoe.

Feels great, looks terrible. Calling this is a dress shoe is ridiculous.

Super comfortable shoe, what you would expect from Rockport. But, the shoe is very homely looking (think the shoes that Frankenstein wore), clunky and bulky style. Nothing against Rockport, in fact I bought another style from them. It's just this particular shoe wasn't what I was expecting, style wise.

The picture is deceptive. The color of these shoes is extremely light--more on the order of beige. I live in New England, where our winters are sloppy and fall and spring are often quite wet. These wouldn't last well at all, especially since they are not water-proof. I really liked the style but in the end I had to send them back.

I have a bunion on my big toe. That's why I ordered these. 4E usually is big enough to accommodate this problem. These shoes look great and feel pretty good. But overall not too happy. I am going to keep them and get a stretcher.

The shine is much duller than it appears in Zappos photos. I'm not looking for parade gloss, but what's wrong with some real shine on dress shoes? Otherwise, I'm still breaking the shoes in and can't fully comment on comfort, but this is one area where I expect Rockport to excel.

Too narrow. Can't really give it a comfort rating so I went middle of the road on that. Also Zappo's NEW RETURN policy is disappointing. I don't want a refund on an Amazon gift card. I want it credited to the card I used to pay. That why I did not comparison shop. I knew I could easily exchange until I got the shoe I needed. Not anymore.

I bought this shoes because of the wonderful reviews. It may be my feet but the right shoe is always tight on the sides and I feel it too much.

I think the last or shape was changed. I owned a pair of these previously and the fit was perfect. Wore them for a long time. Finally wore them out. They were comfortable and supportive. The pair I bought several months ago is not nearly as roomy in the toe box. They are side enough but they just do not fit the same as the previous pair, even with plenty of time and wear to break them in. I am disappointed as I have a very hard time finding shoes that fit and assumed the current pair would be just as comfortable as the previous pair.

My previous Rockports were perfect. I have worn these one time, but I had to walk a really long way. These will have to be broken in as there is a weird pressure point on the right shoe. I actually wear an 11½, but I have extremely wide feet so I bought the 12-4E. You might want to consider buying a half size down. The left shoe appears to be fine, but the right shoe appears to be a 12½ which is much larger than I want, but I do not feel like going through the hassle of returning them. I typically wear two pair of socks and these shoes are still large. Unfortunately, very few stores locally sell 4E shoes. This is my second purchase from Zappos. Not as excited as my first purchase where the shoes were perfect, but I would buy from them again until there is a local alternative.

These shoes looked nice, and they were a good fit. However, the uppers were very stiff as were the soles. I returned these shoes because they were too uncomfortable to wear all day.

Seems like a quality-made shoe. Sturdy sole, albeit slippery on hard, dry surface. Ran slightly tight for my 9.5 size. The style is a bit clunky and "old man" or "'90s frumpy office guy." If you're in your 20s or 30s (or 40s), I'd suggest getting something that looks slimmer, a better silhouette.

I purchased this shoe about 1.5 years ago. The fit was good. I have a wide foot, purchased the 2E size, and it has more than enough room in the forefoot and toe box. The exterior of the shoe has held up well. The outsoles have been reasonably durable, but I cannot say the same for the insoles. This shoe does not have a removable insole, and the glued-in insole has worn out way too soon. Chunks of padded insole have come out in the heel and at the ball of the foot in both shoes. That should not happen in this short length of time. If the shoe had removable insoles, this would not be a problem. Style-wise, this shoe is as plain as it gets. There is no style...it is a purely functional shoe.

I ordered the Rockport Editorial Oxford along with this shoe. They look very much alike but the editorial oxford "walked" better. Also, the Bucks Margin oxford's sole squeaked against the floor when walking. I kept the Editorial oxford and sent this one back.

Sending back. These shoes were much blander-looking in real life than the picture: BORING. Not a good casual shoe as many reviews suggested. Too dressy in my opinion. No comment on fit/comfort; didn't try them on. {Zappos doesn't let you leave these categories blank.}
