Bought these for my dad who is retired military officer who loved the standard military shoes - Ugh! He tried them on and loved them! He said they were comfortable and didn't make his feet or back hurt! He said he can wear them for 10 straight hours and his feet feel great!

I needed new shoes for work and have favored Rockports for years. This shoe had a lot of great reviews, so I went for it. They proved a bit stiff at first, but over time became more comfortable. However, recently the shoes have started to dig into the back of my heel. I've had this problem with other dress shoes, requiring the wear of sports band-aids to keep the back of my heel from being shredded. While these haven't cut my heels yet, they caused discomfort and redness yesterday after a month's wear. The jury is still out on the Margin, but Zappos rocks!

Good every day dress shoe available in a large range of sizes. Functional and comfortable with a roomy toebox.

Comfortable for people with hammertoes and wide feet. Looks like a standard lace-up oxford shoe, so you can wear it to the office. Rubber sole offers comfort for your foot, non-slip properties for slippery pavement and floors, quietness for sneaking up on your boss.

The sole seems to wear really, really fast. And the laces wear really, really fast too. They broke after being worn less than dozen times.

Slippery shoes. I cannot use these for work and a little uncomfortable on top. My last Rockports had grip and comfortable, true to size.

Nice shoes, but during rain soak water. The insert made of open pore foam acts as a sponge. After a while your feet slosh in water. The cardboard foot bed diintegrates.

Good looking shoe but my son wore them for less than a week when the heel separated from the bottom of the shoe.

I have a narrow foot and the shoes fit well. Keeps my heel from sliding in the shoe

My favorite pair of dress shoes. Fits my monster foot comfortably. Still holding up after a year and a half.

When my black ECCO shoe heel disintegrated, and the shoe repairman said that is common and there is no repair possible, my first thought was to purchase Rockport Bib Bucks Margin. Reason: I have owned a pair of Rockports for years, same style in cordovan. They are the most comfortable shoes, and can be worn all day without wishing to take them off. So I ordered a pair in black. I am very pleased. Most all my shoes are Rockport. They fit well and wear well. And the heels can be replaced when worn down!!

I have never gone wrong wearing Rockport shoes. I am very pleased they continue to make classic-styled shoes like this with laces. They have soft leather that is comfortable the moment you put them on.

I wear these to work everyday and they're fabulous!!! Great support with super soft leather!

First of all the staff at Zappos was excellent. This was the third shoe I tried. The return of the first two was flawless. The shoe is an excellent fit. I wear it five days a week and have no problems.

My son loves these shoes! He is a big man at 6'5" and wears a size 14 shoe which is not easy to find in a dress shoe (thanks Zappos!). He always keeps at least two pair of these on hand for work. Shoe comfort is very important to him due to an old sports injury to one foot and these shoes fit well and stay comfortable throughout the day.

I bought a pair of these and a pair of Rockport Main Route Northfield shoes at the same time approximately four years ago (one in brown and one in black); I found them both comfortable and well fitting, but these have a much better wearing sole and heel, so these are the ones I'm getting again. These are the first shoe I've submitted a review on... I hope you find it helpful.

Great looking shoe for casual and semi-dressy look. I purchased for my husband and he feels like he is walking on a cloud.

Shoe fit great, which for a person that sometimes is hit or miss with wide shoes is wonderful. Looks great, dressy enough for looking good and professional, but the rubber sole does detract a little from the styling in my opinion. Regardless of that, I'm still very happy with these shoes -- wore them all day for two days for a business trip without breaking them in, and my feet survived, which I think is a great testament to these shoe's being comfy and fitting well.

The positive reviews on these shoes is no joke, very comfortable even on hard surfaces. The shoe it self feels very well made, the leather is top notch. These shoe are definitely worth a try, especially at this price.

So far, great! Good fit, good finish, comfortable right out of the box. And my last pair of Rockports seems to want to last forever!

This is the second pair of these shoes which I had bought three years ago. Since I have narrow feet, the choice of widths is a big plus. They are really good looking, comfortable and appropriate for many occasions.

These shoes are excellent! I initally bought the brown pair for work and then needing a new black pair, I bought these in black also. They are very comfortable and broke in nicely especially considering I have to do work close to the floor on a regular basis. Quality is great and I would recommend it to anyone.

The Margins are great, dependable shoes. I have worn them (and the very similar Northfields) for years, probably over a dozen pairs. They are extremely comfortable and accept custom orthotics nicely. When new, they are appropriate for the office. Well used, they remain functional for long walks, weekends, etc. They are so rugged you could probably hike in them.
