I've tried wearing these off and on for almost a year. They are the most uncomfortable shoes I've owned. I even tried different insoles to no avail. I really wanted to like them but it isn't meant to be. These are not the Rockport I remember.

Although these shoes are identical in size measured sole-against-sole, one shoe is actually larger volume-wise than the other. It fits more sloppily on the foot, and tying it tighter does not take up the slack. It took several weeks of wearing them for this flaw to become apparent, unfortunately. The leather on the larger shoe has remained shiny while the other has dulled nicely after several weeks, too. One can easily imagine that these two shoes were manufactured at different times, or in different runs, or using different materials, then boxed up as a pair regardless. It s not to Rockport s credit that a product like this made it into the marketplace, in my opinion. Caveat emptor.

First pair of male shoes I bought from site and they didn't work out. Husband said 10.5 as he usually wears just wasn't comfortable. He wore them 8 hours indoors and was glad to get out of them, feet were very sore. So they were worn now we are stuck with them. He said Timberland is way more comfortable.

SOLES MAKE BLACK MARKS - ------BEWARE OF THIS SHOE------ Received this shoe yesterday and found that it fit and looked very good. I wore them around the house for several hours today and suddenly started to notice black streaks on my linoleum floor. I dragged the toe of my left foot across the floor in front of me and watched as a black streak formed. I didn't use all that much pressure really. Very disappointed to say the least. I was considering keeping them and just being "careful" not to walk on hard surfaces in my house. These are going back to Zappos.

Well Constructed But… I am a security supervisor at a large metro hospital complex and I am on my feet most of the shift. These shoes are without a doubt the most uncomfortable shoes I've ever worn. I have found that Dr. Sholes Gel inserts offer some relief but I will never buy them again.

This shoe is a piece of junk. After minimal wear, the sole started to flake off in chunks. Very poor quality shoe.
