Even athletic stores don't often have a wide width like I need. I don't even consider department stores. Having owned and worn out two other pairs over the past 25 years I already know these are going to feel good, they look good, and they'll last for years. First time ordering from Zappos - great selection and fast shipping.

I've been wearing this model for over years. I put another insole in for higher arch support that I need. When I try other shoes on, they just don't have as great a feel and support. I love the roomy toe box and narrow back.

The Saucony Shadow 6000 is my favorite tennis shoe, and has a good arch support for my feet. I've worn out many & often buy/order them 2 at a time. I was glad to find them at Zappos. The service at Zappos rates a high 10 in my book.

These shoes are very hard to find and Zappos had them! I was have been wearing them for years as they provide the right cushioning for my feet and help prevent injuries. They may look a bit outdated in style and are heavier than many of today's shoes but that's okay if I can still run.

The shoes are extremely comfortable, look classy and the color is great. I have fairly wide feet, but do not wear a W. The shoes fits perfectly. I would highly recommend them.

I have been wearing this shoe for years and am very happy that Zappos continues to offer it. The shoe is extremely stable, with good support in the heel area and an accommodating fit in the toe box (very important for me).

I've been wearing this classic running shoe for for 25 years. It gets no better.

I have not received them just yet, but I did have a pair two years ago. They are the most comfortable sneakers. I was looking for the same pair and finally found them.

I also use a good insert (see other review), but this shoe is one of the best at support and softness. I have both a high arch and I'm losing the fat pads on the bottom of my feet. This shoe has the amazing ability to help both. They look better in person than in pic. It's weak point, is the trim that appears to be nubuck soils easily and is hard to clean. It's a light colored strip around the toes.

I hope Saucony keeps making the Shadow line of shoes forever. I have been wearing them for at least 10 years. They are comfortable, sturdy and durable. They have excellent support for running and walking. I have slightly wide feet with slightly narrow heels and they fit me perfectly and I am happy that they carry my size, which is a 5.

Fits Like a Slipper With Great Support - I have wide feet and could not find sneakers that didn't squash my toes. These sneakers fit like a soft comfortable slipper yet provide good, springy support while walking. Most comfortable sneakers I've owned to date. Bought a second pair as a spare.

This classic is the best! I've been running in the Shadow 6000 for over ten years. They provide adequate cushioning for road running and stability for trail running. The "toe box" is wide and the heel is narrow so they fit great.

The Most Comfortable Shoe! I have so many pairs of Saucony - they are the most comfortable shoes and come in so many great colors. I am on my feet most of the day at work and I particularly am fond of the jazz original - but the Shadow 6000 is extremely comfortable.

These are very comfy and suiting my need for going up a size in shoe following foot surgery & recovery. There is however an uncomfortable scratchy area inside the right sneaker. This seems to be from stitching at the factory - very uncomfortable and irritating. Like a flaw. Good!

Very comfortable, nice cushion. I wear a 6 and brought a 6.5, next time I wil get true size they seem a little wide.

Nice running shoe - I run on a treadmill. Usually about 3 miles a day. This shoe has a lot of cushion and it does run a half a size small. I usually buy a 10 I got a 10 1/2 fit perfect. I put an insert into the shoe for arch support.

Good walking shoe - This is my 3rd pair. It's the most comfortable walking shoe I have ever found. I just wish there was more variety in color. I do get this shoe 1/2 size larger than most of my other shoes.

Not up to my expectation - The arch support of this shoe is not very good. My feet felt tired easily after walking a mile or two. I still miss a pair of Puma that I owned before, but they do not product that any long. It seems that I have to keep looking for my jogging/walking shoes.

Comfort's My Middle Name - I like this sneaker. It's comfortable the second you put it on. I do wish that the arch was raised a little more. It has mesh in all the right areas so as you walk you can feel a breeze going through it and cooling off your foot.

I have reliably worn a size 7½ in Saucony's Grid for years. These were way too big. I was interested in these shoe because of mild underpronation issues. These shoes seem like they would address that problem. I just wish they were about a size smaller.

Back in the day (the 80's no less) Saucony running shoes rocked! I wore them to aerobic classes, ran in them and loved them. They were like cloud walking. I've been wearing New Balance and Nike for the last decade, but got nostalgic for the Saucony cushion. I think I will keep these, but honestly it could be a Target/Walmart shoe. I removed the insole first and it is like a piece of flat cardboard. With purchased insoles, these will be fine, but Saucony has fallen off the mark in my book. Zappos, however, is the bomb.

The shoes appearance does not look as nice in person as it does in the picture. The inside of the shoe is formed well for the foot but is very firm and uncomfortable. The shoe is very difficult to keep clean.
