Super Comfy - These are great running shoes--it's like strapping mattresses to the bottoms of your feet. There's so much cushioning, my knees feel very protected. I also have wide feet, and Saucony's are great for that. The only problem is, they're seriously dorky. There's not even room to be ironically geeky/hip in these. The white is blinding. If you can squwelch your vanity, however, they're heaven.

The Classics :) My mother wore these shoes when she was pregnant with me in 1985, and she bought them in 1983. I have always liked them because they're so special, and when I took her size shoe, I wore hers all the time. I still wear them mowing the lawn. 21 years later, she still has them, and I am getting another pair- for myself. I am amazed at how similar they are and that they are still being made. I hope mine will last as long as my mothers. They aren't the most flashy shoes, and they feel more like a walker than a runner at first- but I have done my share of running in the 1983's so I'm sure they work fine. I have fat, wide feet, so these work great for me. I encourage those who want a silent but wonderful, long-lasting classic to get these shoes before they disappear.

Comfort - A very nice looking, well fitting and extremely comfortable shoe. I don't think I will ever buy any other brand of shoe. They felt just as good after wearing them all day as they did when I tried them on.

The first time I tried on these sneakers I loved them so much a bought two different colors. After a couple of years of wearing these sneakers I found another pair half off and purchased those also. These sneakers are great especially if you have wide feet like me.

Comfort and style - These shoes are a lot better looking than they look in the picture. They are also very comfortable to wear.

These are great for walking and/or running. Nothing else is comfortable after wearing these shoes. They hold up well and when they do wear out, I use them for work shoes in the yard. Out of all the Saucony styles available, I like these the best.

Shadow is good - These shoes are very comfortable and fun. I am very pleased with my order and I love the colors. They are a little bigger than I expected, but I just wear big socks. Enjoy!

Best Saucony - Love this shoe. I think this is a shoe from years back that has been reincarnated. I hope they do not discontinue it, EVER! I have already bought another pair.

Great shoe - I have been buying this shoe every year for the past three or four years as I find it to be one of the most comfortable durable shoes I have found. I have a narrow foot with high arches and it seems to provide me with great support. I would recommed buying it a half size larger than your dress shoe size so that your toes won't bang into the end of the shoe as you run or walk. All in all I find it to be a great shoe and hard to wear the soles out.

I´m very hard to please when it comes to shoes. My shoes absolutely must be comfortable. I have several pairs of Saucony - they are by far my favorite brand. The Saucony Shadow is among my favorites when it comes to comfort. However, the light grey mesh inset on the toe and the white suede covering the toe results in them looking pretty grubby very quickly. I'll use them around the house but not for travel.

Very cute and comfortable. The only issue is that my left leg swells (I broke it this summer) and the shoe comes up high on the ankle.

This shoe was extremely comfortable and I liked the look. I need a little more arch support but overall I felt this was an excellent buy. I would buy a similar pair without any hesitation.

Saucony changed the fit! This isn't the same fit as the original Saucony Shadow 6000! I had to return 2 pairs since I can no longer find a size that fits. Originally, they came in only 1 width, and they had a perfect wonderfully wide toe box. I wore a size 6 in those, since they ran a half or whole size small (I wear about a 5 in a dress shoe). Fit fantastic. But then they added widths- medium and wide, - and neither fit right. In addition, now even 5.5 wide is too big. If anyone knows how to map from the old original size 6 to this new shoe, please let me know! I would love to be able to wear what was once my favorite sneaker. (I've contacted Saucony, but it seems all their employees are too young/new to know anything about the size and width change!!).

Did not fit description - I was really disappointed in the shoe. It was described as being very comfortable and instead, I found it feeling very hard, with no give whatsoever.

I've been wearing Saucony's since 1984. I refuse to wear any other shoe. I use them for work, running, gardening, going to the grocery store and literally everything I do ever.

these shoes are extremely comfortable for doing cardio! I an quite flat-footed and it's hard for me to find a pair of workout shoes that can go the distance. That is, until I found these shoes. Not only are they comfortable, with lots of cushioning, but they also look nice. Since I have owned the shoes, I am able to last longer on my cardio and have dropped 10 pounds in less than two weeks.

I especially love these sneakers, even more than all the other Saucony sneakers in my closet. I must have seven pairs right now and recommend them to friends.

Such a cute retro style! I love these sneaks for days when leggings are pants. I wouldn't work out in them however, because they feel almost like platforms and I'd be concerned about ankle rolling. For casual days though, they are a great choice. Very comfortable and cute.

As I grew older, my broken toes made it so hard to buy a walking shoe. My daughter told me about the Saucony brand. This shoe has a wide toe bed and my toes don’t pinch or hurt any more! Thank you Liz!!!

This shoe is so comfortable. I ordered it a half size larger because my former pair pulled out at the upper top. I'm now going to try this size and see if it's better. Zappos is the best business to deal with! I can't recommend them enough.

I am very satisfied with this sneaker. I have been wearing it for about 20 years. I have tried others and nothing measures up. I just wish that they would make it in black. That would be great.

I bought my first pair of Saucony Shadow 6000s many years ago, when I did Jazzercise. I wore them for a few years while I tried jogging, stair-climbers, and elliptical trainers. Now I wear them for five-mile walks. Did I ever try other shoes? Oh, yes, many times. Good brands that cost more, too: Brooks, Nike, ASICs, New Balance. But each one had some aspect which wasn't as good as the ol' Saucony Shadows. They fit. They cushion. They support. They wear well. What more could I want? Well, okay, after a dozen years or more, I'd like some color choice, but really, for workout shoes, who cares much about that?

The best of the 6 Saucony I ordered and tried. Roomy toe box, more than average heel cushioning -- good for running or fast walking. I take 8.5 in regular shoe but always need size 9 in athletic shoes and this shoe was fine in size 9.

I love these but puzzled why Saucony has not made these in any other color? They are obviously loved by many and I own them and love them too but how often can you wear bright white sneakers? How about making the same Shadow style in colors like the jazz? The jazz is similar but not as good as the Shadow 6000; the jazz has the heavy suede overlays that get all tattered and old looking after a while. The Shadow does not have the suede and the look newer and more clean for much longer - plus they are lighter. Please make these in other colors and do not change anything else! We are all waiting!
