AWESOME! These shoes are AWESOME. Then again they are Saucony's. Offered in wide too, so very comfortable. A MUST BUY for looks or comfort.

I have been running in this shoe for the past six years and as long as they keep making it I will run exclusively in this shoe. It's a simple straight forward running shoe and that's what my foot seems to like. Occasionally I have tried one of the new shoes with all the bells and glitter, but always end up back with the 6000's

Great Shoe - This has been my only shoe for nearly 20 years of running. I've been injury-free for all these years, except for the brief time I let a friend convice me that another brand of shoe was better that winning the Lotto. After using those shoes, knee problems started, begining with shin splints, then hip soreness. The Saucony shoe lets me run like I'm built to run without any special support systems, angulation, or claims for miraculous results due to the shoe. I say, keep it simple and keep it affordable with a shoe that doesn't CREATE problems!!

Comfy But Little Support - These are great for knocking around the neighborhood, but if you are looking for support these are not the shoes for you.

Be forewarned, the color in person looks like much more of a purple than a blue color. Honestly, they look like women's shoes. I felt embarrassed to wear them in public.

Almost there, but not quite - I purchased these hoping to get the same quality as the discontinued Jazz Series. They looked leather on-line, but they are fake leather or some cheaper material. The comfort is a great, the retro look is ok. I noticed after 2 weeks the top of the toe netting is starting to wear out. The front toe guard is a fuzzy material that easily collects dirt. Until Saucony upgrades their quality, I think this is the 5th and last pair I buy.

I just took a chance on these shoes and liked though old-school look. I see what people are talking about. These are the most comfortable shoes I have ever had of this type. Period. Nothing has even come close. The look is fresh, clean and simple. I put on other shoes then come back to these and it's just amazing. Already looking for other colors/styles in this shoe; some of which Zappos just doesn't offer.

Half size larger likely would correct the narrow feel. My size is 7.5 US this shoe is narrow in the toe. A few more miles on this shoe will help.

At 42 I've been running for over a quarter century now and like most runners I've had my favorite shoes only to have the manufacturer change or "improve" a model to where I no longer liked them. I have been running in Shadow 6000s for about the last five years. I sometimes try something else, but usually come back to these dependable and reliable workhorses. The pros: Very comfortable right out of the box. I can go for a 10+ mile run immediately - no "break-in" needed. Very good cushioning - I've trained for and run marathons in these. Very durable - I can usually get about twice the mileage out of these as other running shoes. The outsole lasts and the midsole does not break down easily. The cons: A tad heavy yes, but the comfort and durability are worth it. And no, they are not the flashiest looking modern shoes, but if you like the retro look or just don't care, no problem. Get out there and run!

I am a sneakerhead, and love retro sneakers. The shadow 6000s are true to size, great for running, and working out. I actually wear a 12-1/2, but the 12 I ordered fits perfect.

I'm under 35 and get a lot of bull from my family for getting these geriatric style. Totally worth it. They're incredibly comfortable. Best of all they come in wide sizes!

I ran cross country in high school and ran with Saucony Shadows in high school (25 years ago). When it came time to order new running shoes recently, I defaulted to a brand that I remember. They feel great. They provide support and minimize any back pain. If I were 9, I would swear that they make me run faster and jump higher! Great shoes!

I have worn these sneakers for the last 15 years. I used to run a lot and they were great, I now mostly use my Octane Fitness machine. These sneakers are hard to find at a store.

I ordered this for myself and found it comfortable and stylish. I was surprised it arrived so quickly, especially living on an remote island in the middle of the Pacific...I would definitely order from this company again.

A great shoe that keeps my feet from hurting due to my Peripheral Neuroma. It's sturdy and well built. Also you can't beat the service at Zappos. They are quick, efficient and knowledgeable.

These caught my eye while browsing Zappos site. After reading all the positive reviews I ordered a pair. Got 'em in 3 days. What great service! This is my first pair of Sauconys so I don't have any past history. I don't have a lot of miles on these yet, but they are the most comfortable shoes I've ever walked in, very stable and excellent traction. Hope they never stop making these. Thanks Zappos!

These sneakers are very comfortable. I have only gone on a few runs with them so far, but they are by far the best sneakers that I own for that task. They have got ample cushioning on the sole and feel great during a run or even just wearing casually. They appear to be well made, although I cannot vouch for their longevity yet. I prefer the styling of these to that of the other running sneakers available now; I am not a fan of bright neon abominations. These are laid back and look good in casual settings as well as running.

I was not sure about the look of them online, but being desperate for comfortable shoes I decided to chance it on this pair. You know what, they don't look as bad in person. I actually like it. Think they have a retro look going. Anyway. The toe area was ok, but a little snug. Heel support is good. I have to admit that my favorite part is the tongue. It is the softest material I have seen in any shoe I ordered. That part of the shoe makes a lot of contact with my foot so I appreciate that. The only part that didn't work for me was the mid-foot area. When I step down on the shoe the middle of my foot on the inside squeezes over the side of the foam area. After wearing them for a while at the house and standing in them, I can see that they might not be too comfortable for long distance walking. Your foot may vary :) But I wish my feet narrowed in the middle a little more and these would have been perfect for me. Hope this helps.

I like the old Saucony Grids from the early 2000s with plenty of cushion and support but those type of shoes are far and few nowadays. Had to settle on the Shadows which are not bad, but a little tight at the toe box but with the addition of cushion inserts, it actually made the shoe comfortable for my routine jogs. Closest Saucony running shoe I could find with ample cushioning left, & overall they are comfy for walking or jogging.

This is my fourth pair and I love these. Nice shoe and reasonable cost. Quality has been good except for first pair. Some of the stiching broke loose and caused graphic to be unsewn.

Comfortable enough, but considering all the cushion I expected a little "spring" to my step, instead they felt flat. Returned these and bought "Hoka One One Vanquish 2" instead. Way more expensive, but definitely what I was looking for. These would probably make excellent walkers, but for running/jogging you might want to look elsewhere.
