This is by far the most supportive and comfortable shoe, of any kind, that I have ever worn! I need excellent arch support at all times, so I wear these around the house all year 'round. I am on my fourth pair because when they wear out, I simply replace!

I now own four pairs of Mephisto Helen sandals. They are the most comfortable sandal I have ever worn with an excellent arch support due to the cork layer. I definitely recommend these shoes.

Love these shoes but my feet seem to be getting bigger and bigger! Working on try #3 and hope this works. Zappos customer service is superb. Other businesses should take note.

Best summer shoe ever! This is my THIRD pair. They look great with shorts, skirts, or pants. I wear them almost everyday in warm weather and they last about 5 years. *I always wish the price point was less, so I could buy more colors.

These are the most wonderful sandals I've ever had. I have a high arch and they fit perfectly. I was so upset when the Dr. told me I couldn't go barefoot anymore because of the foot pain from plantar fasciitis...then I discovered the Helen's and they are better than barefoot and I just can't say enough about the comfort and the cute style. I use a cork treatment every year on all of my Helen's and it prolongs their life. They are wonderful! They are the only shoes I can wear that doesn't require an arch support.

My feet are very sensitive, wide and have a high arch. These sandals are absolutely wonderful! This sandal provides great support and so comfortable. I now wear them everyday! Good-bye Chacos sandals.

This is my second pair and I can't say enough about them...so comfortable. The size is perfect and they feel great as soon as you put them on...you don't have to break them in.

When I put these in out if the box, I exclaimed to my husband "these are amazing" - he replied that he'd never heard me say that about shoes before. I am in my early 30s and struggle with various pain issues, so was looking for a sandal I can stand and walk in without pain at the end of the day without completely giving up on style. I ordered the Silver Sand Boa - it will be a great summer neutral for casual and work. The sole is a bit thick/chunky compared to some other comfort shoes, but they are more slim which is an acceptable trade-off.

I have been wearing these shoes exclusively for several years. Amazing health benefits, keeps away the plantar fasciitis, relieves hip pain, etc. Also, love Zappos!

Always on the hunt for sandals to help with my foot problems -- these do not disappoint. Classically elegant too.

With this many stars and so many reviewers, I felt sure I would like this shoe. I did. It is extremely comfortable and nice to walk in. The silver sand boa color has a slight sheen to it without being a patent and it has the black bottom which goes nicely with the rest of the shoe.

This is my second pair and I just love them! Support plus for my arthritic feet. Like the softer leathers, such as nubuck. I found the patent leathers less flexible. Well made. Last forever, especially if you use a cork preservative or sealer made for the purpose. Have never treated the uppers. I had my first pair for four years and I still wear them.

Love this shoe. I am sold on the Mephisto and love this style. They are so comfortable right out of box. Better than barefoot!

I have purchased a pair of these sandals for the past two years in my normal size (11) and they have fit perfectly. I bought a pair the other day and they are definitely smaller! I measured them against the pair in my closet and they are a lot smaller! I don't understand why they have changed the sizing - I will try to order again in a larger size. I hope this works, because this is just about the only sandal I can walk around in, due to PTTD.

I love them. They give my casual dressing a little dresser look. I live in Florida, so casual is the dress code.

This may be the best shoe ever. I wish they could morph it into a boot for winter. Anyway, I am not a toe-strap kind of gal but I had to try these based on great reviews on Zappos. I now sport the brown and the black and get compliments on both. Really? Compliments when I have foot problems and big feet and, well, not the best looking feet in town? Yep, compliments. But, given foot issues, I can't make purchases based on other people's opinions, just my own needs. The footbed on this shoe is ideal--nice arch support and cushioning without being house slippers. The toe contraption which I doubted would work for me is very supportive and broke in easily within a few minutes of walking around the house. This is a shoe you can live in and pray they don't quit making it. Get a spare.

Been wearing Mephisto Helen for years, extremely comfortable and very good looking for a casual shoe. In patent black they actually feel and look glamorous! Honestly very chic for a walking shoe, and I can walk all day in them.

These sandals are my new go-tos for summer. They are stylish and are so comfortable. They took a few wearings to break in, but now I could walk 10 miles without a problem.

As a teacher I am on my feet all day, and these are the perfect shoes. They work with shorts and jeans but also with long, casual skirts. They're also great for traveling.

This is incredibly comfortable yet stylish at the same time. So many comfy shoes are clunky or too earthy looking but not this one! And the bronze color goes with everything.

I wear nothing but these sandals. They are amazing and I don't know what I'll do if they ever quit making them. The arch support is amazing too. My feet love them too.
