Possibly the most comfortable shoes I have ever owned. I was initially scared by the price but they are so comfortable and well made that I will definitely be wearing these for years to come.

This is the best pair of sandles I have ever had. I just ordered my second pair. Extremely comfortable footbed for someone with a high arch. After about 4-5 year the foot bed on my first pair was too slick and I roughed it up with sandpaper which made a better walking experience. Loves these shoes.

This is my 3rd pair, I wear them everyday in the summer. They are the most comfortable sandals I’ve ever own.

I typically wear a size 8-8.5, but have gone up to a “40” in this style. I own three pairs of Mephisto Helen sandals: black, Monet Blue, and platinum. They take about 3-4 days of breaking in, but have excellent arch support and are my all time favorite sandal! Great for those of us with high arches and wide forefeet.

I love these! At this point, I have three pair: one pair is new for this coming summer, one pair is in current use, one pair is completely beat up that I use for slippers. Soon, I'll throw the "slipper" one away and move each pair up a notch. These are made to be medium width, but I cinch the belt over the top of the foot to the tightest hole and they fit me; I'm a narrow. I love these shoes; I just bought a pair of Helen Twist as well! Mephisto understands my feet!

Ordered two colors the platinum and animal print. The animal print fit great but the non adjustable strap on the platinum color seemed too long on one of the shoes. I feel like it was probably a manufacturing defect/error on that particular shoe. Overall a great sandal with arch support and not so wide looking like the Birks! Love that there are lots of color choices and Zappos shipping and service is the best!!

I've been planning to order a new pair of Mephisto Helen to replace a pair I'd worn down to barely a nub. They're so comfortable I just wore them out over the course of several years. When I came here to finally get a new pair I saw these beautiful Adeles. I'm delighted with the pretty little coral colored flowers. This is certainly my most feminine sandal and I found they were comfortable to walk in by wearing them a couple of times each day for a few days. Then I had no concerns about the leather on my toes and walked easily everywhere.

I usually wear a size 9 to 9.5. My foot width is halfway between normal and wide. The Mephisto Size 40 (listed as a size 10) fit me perfectly, and they look great on my feet. I have Birkenstocks as well, and I love them, but they tend to make my feet look pretty wide. These Mephistos have all the comfort of my favorite Birkenstocks (maybe even more), but somehow also make my feet appear slimmer! Wore them 8 hours per day for the first 2 days I had them, and my feet felt great. No break in period needed. Love these sandals!

They are AMAZING!!!! This is my 4th pair and they fit great, are easy to break in. I put them on this morning and have worn them all day. LOVE THEM.

So I figured 170 positive reviews could not be wrong and I was not disappointed. I am in love with this style and can't wait to purchase more in the future. Goodbye to all other flip flop brands I have tried over the years. My feet are getting older and this style does not aggravate my bunions at all. I wore them doing errands the first day and no break in was needed. I also ordered the "Harmony" style but thought they were a bit more clunky. This multi Queenie color goes with everything. The Helen is much more feminine than the other popular brand out there. So happy I tried these!

Good looking, fit well and are much more comfortable and better looking than Birkenstocks

It is so incredibliy difficult to find shoes these days that are comfortable, well made and reasonably priced. For my 6.5-7, somewhat narrow feet and normal to high arch I've always found Mephisto to be the most comfortable shoes for my feet and the best bang for my buck. The "Helen" fits my feet like a glove, possibly even better! Normally I wear 6.5-7, 7 in boots, 6.5 -7 in sandals or 37 in Euro sizing. I had to get these in size 36 or size 6. These sandals literally cradle my feet pampering them with each and every step. I tried Birkenstocks but these are hands down SOOOO much comfortable than Birks and IMHO more refined and less bohemian looking. After a year of wearing these Mephistos I did have to tighten the buckle one notch since the leather stretched a bit. Now they fit better than ever. I am seriously debating whether to get another color in tis same style. I had a pair of Mephistos sandals for 10 plus years prior to this pair. They outlasted every pair in my closet. Expensive but well worth every penny!!!

I bought these and the Grenada from Birkenstock. I found these to have much better arch support and feel much more comfortable. I have high arches and these are really comfortable. The straps felt a bit snug for the first five minutes of wear but quickly became the most comfortable shoes ever. I wear a size 9.5-10 and the 40 was perfect.

I LOVE these shoes, but the conversion from EU to US sizing is all wrong. I wear a size 9; I ordered this size and was sent a EU size 39. But the conversion chart from Mephisto on the back CLEARLY says a size 9 US is a size 40 EU. A 9 not even close to a 39 on the chart, so not sure why Zappos has set this up like this. I'm sending them back to get a 40 because these are great shoes, but don't pay attention to the sizing on the Zappos site as it's all wrong.

These are the most comfortable shoes I have ever worn!! The arch support matches my foot exactly. I can wear them all day and night and never have the back or hip pain I have with other shoes. I love their casual style. I may have to purchase more than my usual two pairs this summer! Thanks Zappos for making it so easy to find and purchase the perfect sandals!

Perfect fit, no break in time needed! I can wear them all day without fatigue and my arches are high.

I’m in heaven. The second I placed my foot in this shoe, I wanted to order every color available. So perfect and the gold accents are Devine.

This is my everyday house shoe! My summer sandal! The Mephisto Helen has saved my horribly ill feet and has corrected my crooked ankles. The right shoe works. Price is great compared to a Dr. visit. Just wish they would make a feminine flat with the same material as this sandal. Thank-you Zappos for your excellent service. My only shoe store!

If I could, I would wear these every day. They are the most comfy shoes I have.

This will be my second pair. These are the only shoes I can wear, winter and summer, in spite of all the doctors can do for my foot issue. I love them.
