I love the feel and look of these! I was a little afraid the toe loop was rub and be uncomfortable, but it is perfect! I would definitely recommend getting a pair.

This is my third pair in 5 years, and I love them. My feet are tough to please, and these just fit the bill. (Get it? Fit?) Love Mephisto, love Zappos!

I’ve been ordering this shoe for many years in multiple colors. Very comfortable and long-lasting. They’re shoes I take on trips for walking and long days as a tourist. Stylish and come in fun colors. I’ve tried Birkenstocks, but these work better on my foot (and I think Mephistos are better looking anyway!).

These are my third pair of Mephisto Helens. Need I say more? They were on sale about 30% off which made their purchase even better. As always, Zappo's service was first-rate - they came to Hawaii in less than a week and actually were delivered a day earlier than notified.

Mephisto is the best fitting sandal. It’s retro styling is eternal. The new toe straps are extremely comfortable and they broke in at once.

I absolutely love these sandals. In fact I’ve ordered two pair in the last couple of months. I had a pair of birkenstocks that wore for many years but these are so much comfortable. I can’t recommend them enough.

The wife has always had foot issues, and these are the only sandals that she can wear without pain. The footbed is very comfortable, according to her. There is just something about Mephisto that insures the shoes will be great to wear. Between her and myself, we have had 12 pair of them over the years and have always been pleased with the comfort of them. The last pair of the Helen sandals she had were the grain leather, and it took her a while to get the toe strap broken in so it didn't rub and create a small blister. With these nubuck ones, they were comfortable right away.

I love these sandals. I wear a 7 and the 37 fit perfectly. I bought two pair but kept the Grey Etna as they fit the best and are very pretty. I do find the different uppers fit differently, for instance the Scratch Leather are tighter (possible because they stretch more so are made a bit tighter to begin with?), whereas the Mix are thicker so don’t seems as though they’d stretch/soften up enough to be comfortable for me. They fit beautifully and feel wonderful, with the exception of one big toe being rubbed by the toe strap, but this is not due to the shoe’s construction but due to my big toe turning in. They are well made and beautiful sandals.

I am so happy I found these sandals on Zappos!! My feet are problem feet. For years I have been wearing custom orthotics and hardly ever go without them so sandals have been difficult to wear. A custom pair was even built into a pair of Naot sandals but those hurt my feet as the leather rubbed on my scars from various foot surgeries. Determined to find something that worked I went on Zappos and started the process of ordering and returning sandals from various makers and of different sizes. Thanks to Zappos's free shipping and return policy I was able to finally find some sandals that worked. One of my first pair to try was Birkenstocks Mayari in a 37. It looks a lot like the Helen but was too narrow. Then I found the Mephisto Helen which I liked better both for the fit and the looks. But it was still too narrow and then I found on Zappos that the Helen comes in a plus size called Helen Plus. They were just right in a 37. Great support, good looking and comfortable. The only request I might have is that Mephisto would make more colors and styles available like the regular size Helens. So far as I can find out the Helen Plus only comes in black and a tan. Thanks Zappos for making this all possible! Keep up the good work.

I love, love, love this shoe! I have gotten so many comments about the color. This has been the best purchase for the price that I have made in the Mephisto collection. I always recommend Mephisto and Zappos when I've been asked where I buy sandals or where I got the particular pair I'm wearing. If you have issues with your feet, try these sandals. I've found that the next size up is always my best fit.

These are indispensable summer shoes. I buy them annually because they are so comfortable.

Honestly, I don’t think I’ve ever spent this much money on a pair of sandals but these are worth it. They are so comfortable and stylish. I could walk in them all day. Bonus, they go with everything. I’m now a Mephisto fan!

All's good except the color. I bought the Light Beige and there's absolutely no warmth to it. It looks almost gray against my skin. So I'm returned for another color.

Read reviews so purchased the size 8...I normally wear a 7.5 or 8 and they fit amazing. Great support and many compliments Way better than Berks as just more original and way more feminine! Great buy!

I absolutely LOVE Mephisto "Helen" shoes. I have been wearing them for 25+ years. Sometimes, but not too often, they don't fit perfectly. A bit tight in the toe area. Yet, overall, I've never found a sandal that I can depend on to give me security & comfort in a full day of wearing them as I do with Mephisto. And the best part: Zappos! A super friendly, customer service perfect company. Thank you!

After top strap was adjusted to the correct tension the comfort was great! I like these so much & so does my Daughter that I just purchased her a pair.

I ve worn this style for about 25 years. It is the most comfortable shoe I’ve found. The ONLY thing I would change- wish it were a bit more stylish. Wears well.

After reading the tons of positive reviews and also hearing about how wonderful these sandals were from my sister, I decided to purchase my first pair of Mephistos. I ordered up a full size according to the recommendations from everyone. I'm a size 6 in a sandal and a 7 in running shoes. The size 7 sandal was way too big so I returned them for a size 6 and they were just right. I guess I'm in the minority of all the reviews. Anyway, I loved the camel Nairobi color and love the style of the Helen. I had to break them in for a few days and they caused some sore spots on my big toes. They are very comfortable now and will order this style again. Maybe something that doesn't have a metallic color in it will be softer and more gentle on my toes?? Zappos have excellent customer service!!!

Love these Mephistos. I had a pair in black and still use them in the house (my puppy chewed on them!) - they are so comfortable I couldn't stop wearing them. So had to have another pair to be stylish around town so got the silver. LOVE these! :) Your feet will thank you (post-surgery too!)

I thought Mephisto had a little softer insole but it wasn't any softer than my previous Berks. Therefore, the two stars from me. I have a lot of arthritis in my arches so I need a little softer arch with good support.
