Love these sandals! I own several colors. Very comfortable, even when wearing all day!

I love the Mephisto Helen and wanted a new look (I've been happily wearing the dark brown for years). Bought the bronze and the look is great, but I was swayed by the guidance into buying the 39 this time (which should be my size) even though I've been happily wearing the 38 for years. Well, it fits fine, so I kept it. But eventually got rid of it because the 38 feels better to me - 39 feels a little too clunky. I guess the shape of my foot fits great in the shoe so I'm able to wear the 38. My foot measures a true 8 on one foot and almost 8.5 on the other, but for most shoes I wear a 9 because the 8 & 8.5 seem too tight. I love the Helen, but have learned the hard way to stick with the 38 which fits great and looks great on my foot.

Great, true fit. Very comfortable for long periods of time and incredibly versatile! Potentially a tad bit small, but overall fit true to size (I'm always an 8 and ordered an 8!)

This brand and style are great and comfortable.

These were surprisingly comfortable on day one. I was pleased that they fit my narrow feet, because usually sandals are too wide for me. They're so nice looking that I've been racking up compliments every time I wear them.

Do you know Mephistos are expensive? Because you are buying happiness for your feet! I have several pairs, purchased throughout the years. Not one disappointment: they are made extremely well, I love the styles, they are comfortable the first time you put them on, they last forever, and everytime I reach for them, I think, "ahhhhhh, my mephistos." They are worth every penny.

Nice color and great fit. The arch is the highest I’ve ever had in a shoe without using orthotics and it is quite comfortable. Definitely a keeper.

Love these shoes! They're super comfortable, and cute enough for me to wear to work all summer long. They also have excellent arch support, so my feet aren't killing me by the end of the day. I'm a size 9, but had to order a 40 (size 10 according to them) for them to fit properly. Highly recommend, and worth every penny.

I normally wear a 6.5 but ordered a 7 and it was too long so those went back and I ordered the 6.5. The shoes are cute but are more narrow than the Birkenstocks I normally wear so I sent those back too. Sad because I wanted something different. They are very comfortable and recommend them for people with narrower feet.

LOVE my mephistos. This is my third pair of their sandals and I'll keep coming back for more. You can't beat them for comfort. They're terrific for walking locally and on vacations.

I ordered a size up as suggested and a Medium width. I am still breaking them in but I love the look - esp in the platinum- and they provide immediate support and relief during a period of foot pain due to Morton's Neuroma. Highly recommend.

Just as you said, I needed this Mephisto one size larger than my usual Mephisto size. I’ll of course return the smaller shoe I ordered in my regular Mephisto size. This shoe replaces a sandal with the sMe footbed that I finally wore out after miles and miles of use. Thanks

This is my 4th pair of Mephisto shoes. I have had foot problems in the past secondary to a high arch and these shoes give me the support I need in a slip on sandal. I've never had a problem with the quality, always excellent, Hard to wear "flat" sandals now because these are so comfortable!

I've had this style before, several times in the past years. I got the turquoise mimetic, not realizing that they would have a little sparkle. Not what I was looking for, so I returned them. But, these are great sandals, and I would buy them again. Just waiting for the "right" color!

I've had a pair of Etna Bronze Helens for nearly 10 years. They wear like iron and become "yours" by the second wearing. Decided it was time for a new pair so I ordered the Grey Etna in both a 41 and a 42 (normally a 10.5 - 11M). My left foot is a smidge wider than my right so this shoe is a smidge narrow for it. However, the "wide" version of Helen doesn't hit my arch in the same way and is too wide for my right foot. Returned the 42 because the arch wasn't correct but the 41 is spot-on. Gotta love Zappos' service while you try to find your right size. I also trust them because I know I'll be receiving the "real thing," not a knock-off. Love the Helen sandals and totally recommend them.

I have been wearing Mephisto Helen sandals for years. They are great to work in if you are on your feet all day. They are so comfortable and stylish at the same time. I have them in many colors ! They are my go to spring and summer sandals ! I love them.

These are really comfortable sandals !!! I am going to buy another pair in another color!

My second pair. I love these shoes! They are dreamy. Pricey, yes. Totally worth it. Be sure to read the enclosed info from Mephisto about proper fitting. In a nutshell, almost everyone needs to go up one size. Just do it. The hardest decision is color - so many fun options! In my opinion, the style is quite common so I prefer a color with a bit of spark or pizzazz (like if my last name was Smith I probably wouldn't name my kid Jane or John). This time I chose Blue Star.

Love these shoes but they are about 1/2 inch too short.

With my flat feet, the Mephisto Helen is a joy to wear. Supporting my arches, the cork cushioned sole allows me to wear these sandals all day long. I have a pair I use as slippers, too.

This is my fourth pair of Helen sandals and my first one in black. As always, they fit well right out of the box. I expect minimal breaking in, as with my other pairs. Even though Zappos recommends ordering up one whole size, I wear a 37 European or 7 US in Mephisto. If I buy a pair of Naot, I get a 38/8 for the best fit. What I'm saying, is don't upsize automatically, unless you are a half size. Birkenstocks do not fit my arch and foot configuration at all, so I don't buy any of those. Highly recommend the Helen sandals for comfort, support and yes, style.

Been wearing this sandal for years. I love it!

This is my second pair. I wore the first pair for 2 years almost every day. They are absolutely the easiest wearing sandals I have ever had. I love the support they give me. You can dress up or down with wearing these. Love them.

Great sandal, have owned several of this style over the last few years. Loved this new blue color, will be great with so many things. Awesome Zappos service, as always!
