Super comfy sandals.

This is my third pair of Mephisto Helen’s. Always have two in rotation, an older pair for outdoors without sidewalks and another for city streets. Just donated my first pair of about 10 years ago that still looked okay. They are comfortable, remarkably sure footed for sandals, and once the toe strap breaks in completely comfortable. Also really easy to sip on without the straps bunching up as some flips do. The only slight drawback is the toe strap which seems more rigid than I recall. Hope Mephisto checks all the leathers this style uses to be sure the strap is as flexible as possible without losing the shape which is, again, once broken in, ideal.

Like the sandal but just a tiny bit too small for my feet. Ordering the next size up and hoping they will fit.

Ordered a size 13 but, the shoe fit like a narrow size 12 - beautiful craftmanship shoe

I have one foot that has plagued me with posterior tibial tendonitis for over a year and now I have falling arches. I don't want to wear ugly orthopedic shoes so these are an excellent alternative for relatively cool summer sandal. My foot is narrow (too narrow for Birk's) and these are my 2nd pair of Mephisto's. I've worn this new pair for 2 weeks now and they provide the needed arch support and my foot doesn't ache at the end of the day as it does when I wear non-supportive shoes.

I've had many pairs of this shoe for many years, and have loved them all. Great fit, great comfort, can walk for days after a short break-in period. I was looking for a new, neutral color and ordered these – wish I'd seen clearly on the website that these are a shiny metal gray, not matte. I'm not sure what "Etna" is supposed to mean, but it's actually metallic. This leather/color should be named Pewter, or Gunmetal or something :). I returned these, but am now happy with another pair. Love these sandals! Great support and very comfortable. I am ordering them in another color and my daughter ordered a pair after trying mine.

I buy a new pair of this style every year (OK, maybe two...) and they are my go-to shoes for summer. The fit is great and always comfortable out of the box. That said, I do prefer the versions without the fun designs as the leather is not as stiff.

Slightly short but a good fit in the bed. Beautiful color!

I have had probably 8 pairs of these divine shoes over the years. I even had one pair refurbished by the Mephisto people. I’m hooked. Please don’t change a thing and please keep making them. I just gave a pair to my pregnant daughter, and she is loving them too!

This is my third pair of Mephisto Helens. They are so comfortable and last a long time. I had the last pair for 7 years! I have Achilles tendonitis and these shoes are a godsend. Some people may not think they are stylish enough, but for me, they are perfect. I wear them with everything.

Love Mephisto Helen so much! Fits my feet so well with lots of room for my bunion, which is getting its own zip code soon. They provide good support and yet are easy to walk in. (Without pain!) Lots of color choices mean... I have several pairs. Then it’s from Zappos- who knows I have a shoe addiction and delayed gratification issues which means I only wait a day or 2 to get my new shoes! Don’t get me started on my UPS guy.... he even loves my dog. So do your feet a favor and try these sandals, especially in the waxed leather colors. Your feet will love- well at least like you more!

I received these last week and have mostly been wearing them around the house so far. The leather was initially slightly stiff near my big toe on one shoe only, but 15 minutes into wearing them it had noticeably softened. The soles are somewhat stiff with very little bend, but even after only a week I’m noticing more give, so I think they’ll soften up somewhat as well. They are very comfortable with good support. I am a size 10, and the 40 fit me perfectly. I love the stamped leather design, and I don’t feel like they are clunky or make my feet look giant-sized (always a concern with larger feet)! I would recommend these, as my feet are very picky and these are keepers.

These sandals are like walking on a cloud

Just got these today, as I exchanged the 42 for my correct size, 40. I’m normally a 10-10.5, or 42, in other brands, but these run slightly large. I haven’t worn them outside yet, but walking around the house they are comfortable out of the box, and I have very picky feet. Zappos was awesome, as usual, and delivered my new size pronto!

I have been wearing this model of Mephisto sandals for yeaers. You would think the lether that goes between your toes will bother, but in this model it is not the case. I can't go through summer without this sandals.l

I own a couple pair of Mephisto sandals but wanted to try the Helen in a nubuck material. So soft and comfy from the first step!

They call this a 12 at size 42 but I'd call it an 11.5. They were very pretty shoes but felt small compared to my Birkenstocks.

These are really nice! I bought them for my trip to Costa Rica and they are the most comfortable, really cute walking shoes. Absolutely no discomfort with the toe strap. I usually chose Birkenstock for this kind of shoe, but I’m converted now. These are more comfortable and cuter in my opinion. I might buy another pair in a different color despite the steep price point.
