Unfortunately, shoe was too wide for me even on smallest hole.

Love these sandals. I bought the black patent leather and they are so classy! Can dress up or down. Very comfortable and true to size.

I have worn Mephisto Helens for probably 14 - 15 years. I love them; they are comfortable, and I can wear them for hours without my arch or feet hurting. I do order a size larger than what I generally wear in other shoes. I wear a size 9 but I order the size 10 (EU size 40). They are the only sandal I wear.

Perfect fit have been wearing these types of mephistos for about 15 years and love them

European size 42 does not translate to a full size 12 - Loved this shoe, but was just a bit short for comfort - should be a 43!

This is the second pair of the Mephisto Helen I have purchased. I love the color I chose - soft orange. These shoes provide excellent arch support and comfort . The pair was a little loose on my narrower foot, but there was a notch in the strap where I could adjust the width. The toe strap helps keep the shoe in place otherwise, for me, I slide out of those without.

I purchased a pair of Mephisto’s a few years ago because I suffer from plantar fasciitis and they ended up being one of the most comfortable shoes I had ever worn. I finally had to retire them and purchased a new pair. I absolutely love them. They are so cute on. I’m not sure how they would fit on someone with wide feet as I have pretty narrow feet.

I got the black kaliedo color. They are definitely black but with a multi colored sheen on top of the black base. Very pretty and very different from any sandal I own. I'm glad I took the chance on this color (but really not too much of a risk since Zappos return policy is so great). I normally wear an 8-8.5 in sandals and ordered a 9 (39) based on previous reviews (thank you!) and the fit is very comfortable.

They fit perfectly as always. I love Helens.. The arch is in just the right spot.

I just love these. The suede footbed is super soft and comfortable. I had to go up to a 40. I normally wear an 8.5D in sandals. I wear a 39 in Birks. I got the “multi reptilia” color, and it’s like a mermaid tail!! Iridescent rainbow scales. They make me happy.

Love these shoes. So comfortable and great arch support. I have this same style in 3 different colors. Sometimes they take a few months to get worn in to where they are extra comfortable, but this new pair feels great right out of the box! Highly recommend!

They are cute and comfortable. I read a lot of reviews that said they run small. I wear a euro 39 typically and the euro 39 fit perfectly.

More comfy than Birkenstock. These stay on without having to grip with toes. Nice leather.

t These shoes run 1 full size smaller...I had to return the first pair and ordered another pair ( 1 full size larger) and they fit perfect. They do run narrow also...so if you have wide feet these shoes may not right for you. Once I received the next size, they fit great...and look very cute. I am breaking them in now...and will think about getting another pair.

I was looking for a pair of shoes to wear around the house with great support. The Mephisto Helen’s are perfect in every way.

I normally wear a size 9, but with the Helen it seemed to be too short, so I ordered a size 10 (aka 40) and they fit great. I just recently purchased the Helen in the Reptile blue. The size and color were perfect. However, when wearing around the house I developed blisters because of the leather. All of my other Helens seem to have a soft underlining, but for some reason the Reptile blue I received did not, so until I do get them broken or softened up I will need to use a wide band-aid in order to avoid this again. I also used a neutral shoe polish on the underlining to see if this will help. The color is a pretty navy blue which of course goes very well with my denims.

These sandals are a replacement for a previous pair that I wore off and on for many years. They finally got too dirty to clean. I knew what I was getting and these sandals did not disappoint. The only difference is that my old ones were the waxy leather and these are regular leather, which I find I definitely like better.

I’ve been wearing this brand and style for 20 years! I’m hard to fit because I have a narrow heal. Thank you Mephisto for a great sandal that is easy for me to wear.

Love the new look of the navy reptile. Can be dressed up or casual. I needed these for lots of walking in Chicago. Mephisto always hits it out of the park.

I love these sandals and own many pairs. They last forever, are very comfortable and fit my feet with bunions perfectly!

This is my third pair of these sandals. They are the best! I have problems with my feet and the support these give my feet is the best I have ever had. I will continue to order Mephisto.

Really like these. Zappos recommended my regular size 10 so that’s what I purchased, but I really needed a size 11. I usually take a 41 (11) in European sizing but followed the recommendation. Luckily Zappos makes it so very easy to return items!

I've been wearing Mephisto sandals for years --- especially Helen, because I can tighten the top strap a bit so they are more snug on my narrow feet. Now I'm waiting to see what spring will bring, because I am in need of sand or beige-colored sandals.

I bought this Mephisto sandal b/c I have another one, same style , different color. I've had it for at least 5 years, maybe more and I still get compliments on it. More important however is that the sandal gets more and more comfortable over time! The sole shows little sign of wear. You can't go wrong with this sandal and I'm thrilled I can get it in a size that fits perfectly!
