I have these in both colors. They are beautiful, extremely comfortable, warm, waterproof & unlike other lined boots do not make your feet & legs cook when indoors. I've worn them all winter long for 6 years & they still look brand new! From football games with jeans to skirts they are the perfect winter boot style - a cross between a riding boot & Uggs. A bargain.

I waited for these to go back into stock in my size (12) after trying on the regular Brooks style. Even though I must be picky due to knee problems, these were surprisingly comfy. I chose the larger size since I do plan to wear socks as the fit loosens up (to avoid drafts). Perfect compromise of style and function in northern Minnesota. If fit seems off, don't be afraid to order another pair. The first pair was very snug for me, and I later discovered that the insole size didn't match the shoes (was marked a size smaller and left a rough gap in the toe). The second pair, the talls, had a roomy fit as expected. I wore them in the house all night, in spite of the warmth, because I was so excited to finally have them! Thanks Ugg for making size 12 a regular item!

I love these. Size 11 felt like boats, size 10 too tight. I am clearly 10.5. So many brands I miss out on because no 10.5's.

These boots are the best! I'm on my second pair (had brown) and they fit perfectly right out of the box! Very warm and super comfortable. Highly recommend getting them while they have these boots available in your size, last year I waited too long and they were sold out!

I have a pair of black Ugg; I didn't think I needed another but I ordered these boots and they are so much better quality and more comfortable. I got my regular size they were a little tight but after I wore them 3 times now they are perfect. I would definitely recommend.

Okay, I never write reviews but these boots really deserve one. I've had mine since 2006 and they are still as warm and cozy and cute as ever. They have really held up well and I still get compliments on them! Plus Zappos is the best!

These are terrific. They look sharp, they are extremely nice and comfortable. Based on all the other reviews, I do believe they can be worn in the snow. I usually wear the Bailey and Classic sheepskin Ugg. These are as awesome!

My feet are always cold. Not any more. These are the warmest boots that I have ever owned. They are worth every penny. I do not like advertisements on my clothes so I love that these do not have the Ugg label on the back of the boots.

I normally wear either an 8 or 8 1/2, and the 8 fit great. The only problem is that the right boot instep is quite tight-very uncomfortable and different than the left. I will try another size 8. Otherwise, a great boot!

Love these boots. 2nd pair, own brown ones. Thought I wanted a different pair but why? These are perfect...great warmth, and I never wear socks. I can keep them polished and use mink oil which keeps them looking new. Great for the lake effect snows, keeps feet and legs dry and warm.

Best boots ever. Snug and comfortable. I don't need socks, but can still wear them if I like. Slathered them with Sno-Seal and they are water and snow proof now! Great for trudging through New York winters. Leather is soft and buttery. I have owned many pairs of Uggs and snow boots, but these are by far my favorites.

I love these boots. This is my second pair. My last pair is over five years old and well worn. They are so comfortable, warm and keep me dry.

These are great and worth every penny. Worn and comfortable with no socks. I have shoveled loads of Wisconsin snow in them and my toes didn't know it was below freezing. Easy on and off just fold them over and pull. I have neuroma, bunions and achy feet and these don't aggravate any condition. Getting the brown too. Usually wear size 10 and these fit true.

I normally wear a 7 and I bought a 7. They fit fine barefoot, but feel a little tight with a thin sock on. I love the fur lining throughout the entire boot. I bought them at the end of the winter season so I have not gotten as many opportunities to wear them as I am looking forward to. I am hoping they will really keep my feet warm when out at late fall soccer games!

LOVE these boots. I wore my girlfriends in Colorado and had to have a pair. I have skinny calves so it is usually impossible to find a pair that fit well. The comfort level is a 10. You can walk miles in comfort and so warm. I get compliments every time I wear them.

I have a pair of these they are 10 years old. The warmest boots I've ever had. They are finally starting to let moisture in after all these years. Looking to get a new pair. Price has gone up a bit since I bought them last.

Purchased my Brooks a couple years ago & still love them! Just replaced the insole for a better fit and couldn't be happier. These boots fit great, are super warm & compliment just about any outfit. I usually wear and 8 1/2-9 & ordered the 9 for a great fit. Highly recommend them to anyone looking for warmth, comfort & style.

Love this boot so much I had to get an extra pair! The black ones I have are now scuffed from a lot of use, although I take care of them after every wearing. I need to give this pair a little break once in a while if I want it to last much longer, although I've had it for 4 years now. Me and my Ugg Brooks tall have gone through a lot this season, with all the snow and slush and days and endless freezing cold days! They fit me comfortably at size 6, even though I'm a true 6.5, and I don't wear socks. The shaft also fits just right, not too loose or too snug on my calf, which I would consider average. When I saw that they have disappeared from the Uggs Australia site and overheard that they were being discontinued, I had to hunt down another black pair in my size. Actually, someone beat me to a pair at Zappos, so I had to order them from Nordstrom. I prefer black only because I only have warm black fleece leggings to match the boots. I need to match the brown in my wardrobe if I buy it, but I have tall brown Uggs boots that I can wear, so no need for it yet. I wish Brooks would really be "tall," an inch or 1.5 inch taller though, which is why I only give it a "4" in style, but these two will get much use and make trudging to work a little less rugged-looking, a little more fashionable but still warm and waterproof. If only for keeping my freezing toes a little warmer, these purchases are worth it!

OMG, OMG, OMG, I LOVE these! They are cozy, as you would expect from UGGs. They look a bit more stylish, in my opinion. Reminiscent of a motorcycle boot, but more plush. They are snug, but not uncomfortably snug. I wouldn't be able to wear a thick sock (although I don't wear socks at all with UGGs). My yoga pants tuck in them fine, but I doubt I could get anything more voluminous than a really skinny jean in there. My UGG Sunburst in the same size are much bigger. For comparison sake, I could probably wear 3 pair of thick socks with them, and I routinely wrap boot cut jeans around my calf and tuck them in. Not happening with the Brooks. That's okay, because this boot is gorgeous. My husband even loves them, and he usually couldn't care less about shoes.

I was just looking back at my purchase history on Zappos and I bought a pair of these in 2006! I still wear them all winter long and I absolutely love them. My toes are toasty warm and they stay dry but I can still wear them all day and feel dressed not as if I am wearing "snow boots". This was one of the best shoe purchases I've made.

I love my boots! They look very nice, are very comfortable and warm. I wear a size 9 in the UGG classics but in the Brooks the 9 was too big so I bought the size 8. They were a little bit tight but after 2 wears the my are now perfect! Great service from Zappos!

I'm going through my second winter with these boots. I absolutely love them. I have worn them in below freezing temperatures, snow, sleet, and trudged through 4 inches deep of slushy water and they kept my feet warm. They did not let ANY water in. These are the best boots you could buy if you live in a cold snowy area. I've worn them all day long and my feet didn't hurt. I get compliments on them all the time. I am SO glad I bought them! They are well made and will probably last me forever.

This is my 10th winter on a pair of black Uggs Brooks (the short version). They have been my go-to boot for all winter activities and conditions because they are so warm and sturdy. This year I finally had to buy a replacement insole; otherwise, they are maintenance-free, easy to slide on, and versatile: I an wear them under boot-cut jeans or over skinny jeans. They are not the sleekest look (not for skirts), but they are not clunky-looking. I am a size 8.5 and I bought them in size 8, but if I were to buy them again I would choose the size 9 so that I can have the option of wearing socks. Since they are snug, I wear them barefoot. My feet have never been cold, even on the coldest days in the White Mountains.

These boots are awesome! The durability of the sole was good for walking around and the waterproof option around the ankle is great. I'm between an 8 and a 8/5. I'm so glad I got the 8's as I tried the 9's and I think I would have eventually been swimming in them.
