They are the best Uggs on the market. I have the brown as well. They have a little more support than most Uggs and are great in the snow. They are comfortable, completely waterproof, and have great traction in cold icy climates. Also great for running around on cold rainy days. You never have wet cold feet! And, Zappos is a great place to buy them with their excellent service!

I love these boots. I was a little worried about ordering boots. My calves are on the bigger side but they fit great!

I just bought my first pair of UGG boots after shopping around for something comfortable and warm for months. Maine's winter is long and cold. This is the answer to my prayers. I took the extra step to spray on water repelant I bought at the shoes store as I wanted to keep the integrity of the leather longer and it works great in the snow.It is true to size and I don't need to wear extra thick socks as my feet are toasty and comfy with regular socks. A first for me as my feet are always cold.

Loved these boots. Super comfy and functional and of course, great for snow and ice - I think they are very good value. They are wider so good for a wide foot. The color is a beautiful brown, a great wardrobe stable. I liked the black ones too, I just needed a brown pair though.

Words are not enough to say how satisfied I am with this purchase. It took me 2 months to read and compare reviews and I'd say it was worth it! It was expensive but it's an investment boots, it will never let you down on extreme cold days.

I love, love, love these boots. The leather is gorgeous & the lining allows for sockless wear, a must for me. Good support, too.

I ordered this boot after seeing someone wearing it, loving the look, and inquiring what it was. It's pricey, but after reading tons of glowing reviews, I had to have it. I do love these boots, and have worn them almost constantly since getting them a couple of months ago. They can go casual or a bit dressier. They can handle snow/slush (though I don't want them to be my primary snow boot, just so I don't damage the leather over time). Someone mentioned the tops can be turned down to make a cute fleece cuff, which is true. I do want to comment on sizing for half-sizers. I'm a 9 1/2, so I took advantage of Zappos' free shipping and ordered both a 9 and 10. Each felt fine, and I was torn, but in the end went with the 10, rationalizing that if I wanted to wear thick socks the extra room would be good. I also decided it was more "grown up" to order the larger size, rather than try and fit into a smaller one (though the smaller one was not tight). Now I kind of wish I'd gone with the smaller size. To my surprise, I've ended up wearing these exclusively without socks, as I now realize Uggs are intended, so I don't need room for socks. Plus, the fleece lining is naturally "packing out" so the boot is getting roomier. While I'm completely comfortable in the 10, it does feel a bit loose, and after a full day of walking in NYC the movement started to make the bottoms of my feel sore, like a pre-blister feel. For general day-to-day wear the fit is fine, but I do continue to wonder if I would have been just fine with the smaller size. At this point, I think my recommendation for half-sizers would be to order down if you plan to wear without socks. And even if you don't expect to wear them without socks, I recommend doing so. It really is a nice feeling to have the fleece against your skin. I'm still going to say these feel "true to size" since a 10 is technically a half size too big for me anyway. Just wish they came in half sizes.

Love them! I used the Ugg waterproofing sealer and they truly are waterproof/stain proof. I've worn them in snow and wet, rainy conditions and they still look new. Also very comfortable, although since my foot is an AA I am planning on putting an insole in under the fleece insole to make it narrower. I tried a size smaller as many reviews said they ran large, but they were just too short. I usually need a 10 1/2 narrow, but ended up with an 11. Also, sometimes wool really bothers me so I wasn't sure if wearing these without socks would work, but it is fantastic. No itching at all! Love them! I wear skirts every day and these boots are perfect with casual and denim skirts!

I just received these boots as I gift, so I can't yet comment on how well the boots hold up over time. However, I did want to provide feedback on size. I normally wear a size 8 and always order a size 9 in Uggs, which usually seems to work well. However, even without a sock, these particular boots feel tight in a 9--especially on the bridge of the foot. I am considering exchanging these for a size 10. My recommendation would be if you are in doubt order at least one size up (I will be going up two sizes).

The traction on these boots is awful! The sole is not pliable rubber but a hard, slippery material. The traction grooves run parallel to each other; not crossed for sure footed traction. Fine when walking straight on a flat surface. Otherwise your foot is sliding out to the left or right. The warmth and comfort are top notch but the absurd lack of traction is actually dangerous to this particular New England dog walker! Waste of a lot of money!

I don't think I've taken these boots off since they arrived. They're exactly what I was looking for - comfortable, warm, stylish. I have large calves, and they fit great. I also need a lot of arch support, and they are decent in this department, but I may end up adding some orthotics to these boots so that I can wear them all day without getting tired feet. The grip on the sole is fabulous. Seriously, these boots are exactly what I was hoping to find. Thank you UGG for making the perfect boots.

I didn't even buy these on Zappos but I'm reviewing them here because I love them that much. I wore these pretty much every day during one of the coldest winters on record in Maine and my feet were never cold. The sole is awesome and has excellent traction. The leather is beautiful and high quality. The wool is warm and soft. I have wide feet and these are comfortable after hours of walking. My only complaint is that they are not quite waterproof, they are water-resistant but if I walk in a puddle my feet will get a little wet. These are more icy-cold boots than slushy-wet boots. I ordered a half size up to accommodate thick socks and they are bit roomy but I like that for my wide feet. Overall, I'm in love with them and plan to keep them well-cared for and replace the insole for many more winters to come.

I bought these in desperation to replace my Brooks Tall with black suede uppers from years ago. While they are comfortable and durable I dislike the natural sheepskin color sticking out of my black boots. I wish they would make the old style and this style for those of us who love the design and lug sole but do not like the update! Every time I wear my boots which are getting raggedy I get a compliment and asked where I got them. You could be selling lots of the old style. Please bring back the old design.

I love this boot. I was looking for a winter boot to deal with NYC snow (cold, slushy, but not too high). This is it. The bottom part is waterproof (the part that covers your foot). The top is not, but you can waterproof it (as you should do for all your Uggs). I am between a 6 and a 6.5 normally, so every Ugg purchase is a saga for me in finding the right size because they don't come in half sizes. Here, a half size would have been perfect. I tried the 7 and they were too big and I would've had to wear with ski socks. The 6 is too small to wear any socks. I decided to go with the 6, and I just go sockless (they're so comfy cozy you don't even need socks). The traction is pretty good - much better than all other uggs, but not as good as my legit north face snow boots. But these are a beautiful shoe that I can wear out on cold nights, not just when it is snowing. I highly recommend these.

Very comfortable, very warm. I have friends who are fans of the earlier model of this boot, with leather on the bottom and suede on the top. In our opinion the earlier design is more stylish looking boot less like a "Santa boot"... which is what I've been calling mine.

Hands down, these boots deliver! I've pondered making this purchase for a year and a half. I finally splurged and ordered my own "Christmas Present". I am a Chicago commuter and find that my snow boots and other footwear simply do not keep my feet warm...not even on a 20 or 30 degree winter day. Conveniently, on the first day with my new Uggs the temp was -2 degrees Farenheit. You don't even want to know the "real feel" forecast with wind chill was! I am overjoyed to confirm that my feet stayed warm throughout my entire commute over a period of an hour and 15 minutes. We also have snow and ice on the ground currently and I am impressed by the awesome tread on the sole of the boot and how easily it crunched the snow beneath my feet! Regarding sizing, I always wear a 7 or 7.5 shoe/boot. I ordered the 7, and though they are very snug on the first try, the leather stretched a little and I am comfortable today. I can tell that these will break in easily, especially as my foot creates a "nest" in the cozy lambswool interior. I would recommend wearing them around indoors for a couple of hours where the temps are warm and the leather can stretch with your natural footshape and movements.

Love these boots. First pair of Uggs I've bought in years, perfect for fall season. Soft, true to fit. Funny also I now notice that all my friends have the same pair!

I absolutely love these boots. Since it's still summer I only tried them on but they are so soft and comfortable.

I read many other reviews and so many people liked this boot so I gave it a try. They are beautiful, well made, and incredibly comfortable. I love them. I received them in August, a hot August Day but I liked them so much I put them on and wore them the whole day! They weren't uncomfortable in hot weather. My guess because they're made of natural fibers, they "breathe." The lining is so nice. And when cold comes I know they'll be super. I bought the Black.

I bought these shoes because I saw my boss wearing them and they always looked incredible on her...and I think they are just as amazing on me! This boot is the perfect upgrade for those of us who used to wear the more traditional/young Ugg boots. They have more support and are excellent for walking or working in if you stand all day. They also look great with jeans and black leggings. A thin layer of the lining is visible when you wear these over pants and it looks great. Huge fan!

I went against everyone's advice and ordered a 7 when I usually wear an 8½. I am very glad that I did! I have a complex when my feet look big, They are more narrow than the classic Uggs. But the length is perfect. My feet for the first few wears were falling asleep but each time I have worn them they get looser. I can wear socks or not. I saw a review by someone that gave some helpful information. They said the size 7 was 11" long. That is what helped me make my decision and chance it. But they are warm comfortable and look much better once you dirty them up so they are not so shiny.

These boots are very comfortable and warm. I wear a 7.5N so I ordered both the 7 and the 8. (thanks Zappos for that perk) I ended up keeping the 8. In the future I expect that they will feel a little big so I ordered the UGG insoles to insert when that happens.

Great shoe! A must have for all who want to keep their feet warm through the cold days. Absolutely comfortable. My feet love them.
