This is a really comfortable and well made shoe. They're chunky but look great with jeans or linen pants.

This is THE MOST COMFORTABLE shoe !!! Originally bought the black but I love it so much I just ordered another pair in brown... A little pricey but worth it - highly recommended.

I love these shoes they are the best sandals I have ever owned. Today I will order another pair. I have a high arch and narrow foot but these fit me perfectly.

These are really nice shoes, and I'm excited to add them to my collection of Naots. As I have a bit of a narrow foot, Naots are a good brand for me. I like that these shoes have a lot of coverage front-to-back, so they feel secure on my foot -- but they don't have a buckle or velcro closure, so I can just slip them on and go. I am an 8.5 and a size 40 worked well for me.

Great shoes! Hope you will keep carrying them. I have plantar fasciitis and the footbed of these sandals really helps. I have purchased them for many years and people always tell how great looking they are.

I keep buying this sandal. It's both comfortable and stylish. The latest purchase was for my daughter-in-law, who put them on and wore them immediately with pleasure.

I owned a pair of Monterey Naots years ago. I decided to seek them out for a second fling after finding other sandals unsupportive and boring. Naot Montereys are perfect for active women who want excellent support and effortless, interchangeable style. They work well with jeans, slacks, or dresses and sport a luscious red for the adventurous among us. These shoes reflect the excellent value that Naot delivers in their product. Worth every cent.

These are the most comfortable sandals I have ever owned. They look great, too - I get lots of compliments on them. I searched for a sandal like this for years. Better than average arch support for those of us who have trouble finding comfortable sandals because we have high arches. My foot is slightly wide across the toes - usually I can still wear a medium, but once in awhile I buy a wider shoe. These fit perfectly across the toes.

Love these sandals! Had my first pair for over 15 years and finally decided to see if they were still made by Naot and was happy to find them on Zappos. Had them in the mail within a few days, just in time for a trip to Spain. Very happy and looking forward to years of use out of my new pair of Montereys by Naot.

I'm on my second pair of these as my first pair, purchased in 2002, bit the dust. This style is very sharp, the footbed is comfortable and supportive, and absolutely nothing says "old lady" despite the comfort. Last summer, the straps were a bit tight (since I've gained so much weight since the first pair I bought in 2002) so I didn't wear them last summer much. But I've tried shorter wearings this summer, and the leather has stretched just enough so that now I can wear them a full day - as I always did in my more slender days. The Monterey is a very supportive style, and the shoe stays nicely in place thanks to the strap design - nicely complementing the heel height and adding to stability.

These are very comfortable but the side seam on ankle strap was not completely sewn and came apart when I put it on. Returning for a replacement because I love these shoes.

Wow do I love these sandals! I have narrow feet (from top to bottom), somewhat narrow width-wise, size 11 with high arches. These are comfortable, easy to slide into, very flattering and now my everyday sandal. Just love them.

I have to send this one back for smaller size. Zappos should recheck the sizing chart provided by Naot, which said that a size 36 equals US size 5, while size 37 equals size 6. I lived in Europe for years and always wore size 36 and in the States I am a solid 6. Zappos told me to order the 37 since it should be the size 6, but it was too big. If you order these, go with your European size, not what Naot tells you is the US size equivalent. Otherwise very cute shoe.

I loved the look of the shoes. The size felt pretty accurate, maybe a little small. I ordered a half size up based on other reviews and they were near perfect. Unfortunately, the top strap pinched the small toe of my right foot. I have wide feet at the top, so it might not be a problem for others.

I have a few pairs of NAOT sandals and have always worn a size 39. I ordered these in the same size and found they run small - probably a half a size too small, so that the edges of my toes hit the small ridge at the front of the shoe (where the stitching meets the insole). They felt very comfortable and light in weight despite the chunky style of the sandal. Good arch support. The next size was not available, so could not purchase them. Too bad.

I wanted to like these shoes, but they were a little too short and a little too narrow. I have bought this same style 2 other times, and had no trouble. They were a little longer and wider. I wear them all the time, but since I am going on vacation, I thought I would treat myself to new pair of shoes. I don't know what has happened to Naot! All my shoes are by Naot, and I have never had a problem.

Beautiful and comfortable sandals, I rated 4 stars because i ordered my size and sandals were larger than any other sandals of the same size. Soles are stained after I used them a couple of times.

Welp. Love the rich chocolate color and the style suggests that they are comfortable. however, I could not slide my foot all the way down into this shoe so they are going back (sadly). The one star for comfort is only because I am forced to choose one, but since they don't fit I cannot really comment on comfort.

I wear 8.5. The fit was exact. I suggest getting a size larger because there’s so much leather coverage they’ll be hot.

very cute ,run short and uncomfortable at toe

I had a pair of these that I've worn for years but my puppy chewed one beyond repair. I ordered these in size 8 and should've ordered the 8 1/2. They run a little small and the leather isn't as supple as my first pair.

Looks great! Nice solid, comfortable sandals. I have narrow heel and was worried they would kick off while walking up stairs- they don’t. Typical great Naot!

True to size. Just received them last night and can’t wait to wear to work today. I’ve purchased Naot with this bottom before and they were a little hard on the heel so I Felt like I was taking a risk. Well, I put the sandals on and they are not at all hard on the bottom they are extremely comfortable and have a great arch support! The style is chunky and cute. I like the elastic inset band on the top I know that the shoes are not going to slide off my feet when going upstairs at work. I’m very happy I purchased these and would love them in red as well.

I wear a size 5 sandal, I have bunions, and I need arch support - three challenges for this shoe lover! Naots have arch support but I have to accept that their size 36 in a sandal is too big for me! Too long and too wide! The Monterey is a gorgeous shoe, but my foot goes right through until the toe piece stops it. Very uncomfortable! Because of the bunions I now wear a wide in a running shoe, so I thought if it was a little wide it might still work. I was wrong. Thank goodness for Zappos - for carrying smaller sizes and for easy returns!
