Great Comfortable shoe - Naot consistently produces the most comfortable shoes I have worn.

Well-made sandal - Excellent craftmanship! Extremely comfortable footbed from the start. I like loose straps, so ankle strap is too short for me, but shoe repair is adding velcro to extend the strap. I also like wide-fitting shoes, and this one is fine even though it is medium width.

Comfy sandal - This is a really good sandal that feels so comfortable. For those of us with non-existent arches, it offers support without digging into your foot. It's not clunky looking like so many sandals...less is more. It is very adjustable to accommodate the most problematic feet. I've been a big fan of Naot for years for durability and comfort...this does not disappoint.

Perfect sandal - I have never found a more comfortable sandal. It envelopes my foot but doesn't bind. It also does not make my foot appear wide. It is easy to put on and adjust. I will buy more to have them available as these wear out.

A Real Problem Solver - Very comfortable, looks fine. This sandal would be a great choice if you have trouble finding the right width, since both straps are adjustable. Also great if you want to substitute an orthotic for the removable insole; that's what I intended but I ended up slipping a little padding under the existing sole and it provides great support as is. I'm definitely going to try another style of Naots (Sonia) for dressier occasions, now that I see how well these work. The edges of the straps are a bit rough--you might try filing them down a little. Thanks, Zappos, for letting me try out new styles with no charge and no hassle!

Wonderful! I agree with the other reviewers. These are great sandals. Very comfortable and like the fact I can adjust them, especially in hot humid weather. The footbed is more comfortable than most of my birkenstocks, and that's saying a lot since I rarely wore anything else until these came. Thanks Zappos.

Karena sandal is terrific! I love everything about these. They can be casual or dressy. They breathe unlike Teva, which make my feet hot. They are adjustable so my foot does not slosh around in them. The sole is non-slip and I like the little bit of heel. They arrived at my door the next day after ordering online.

I love this shoe! These were my first pair of Naot and they feel and look wonderful. I have ordered another pair and am looking forward to wearing them all summer!

Karena perfection - I thought it would be a wonderful shoe and it is. I think generally Naot shoes run a little wide (which I need for my left foot) and I was not disappointed with this style.

I am an 81/2-9 and the 40 was perfect. My foot is narrow and the width was also good - it certainly wouldn't work for those with wide feet. It's a good-looking sandal in bronze, without the usual bulky, dorky Naot appearance. BUT- the insole is stitched with a band of leather on the outside and that really irritates my outside two toes where they touch. Sadly, it's going back.

Beautiful shoe but not for my very skinny, bony feet! Did not fit well.

I loved the looks of these shoes, but unfortunately my big toe was walking on the stitching. This made the shoe very uncomfortable. I feel the shoes are narrower than a medium width. Sadly, I returned them. I ordered another Naot sandel which fit just fine.

I wanted to keep these shoes. They are so good looking, but unfortunately my big toe on my right foot, rested on the the black stitching. Also, my little toe rubbed on the the band over the toe area. I tried loosening the width which helped some, but not enough. Sadly, I am returning them.

The leather is lovely and soft but the footbed is both too long and too narrow. If you have very slim feet, these would work. For me, my little toes were on the outside of the inner sole.

I had these shoes long ago and loved them. This new pair's leather is not as soft... a little bulky straps. This is not a summer sandal... I plan to wear it with warm socks in the fall, and cold spring with jeans or pants.

Like another reviewer, the straps seem to be sized for a narrower or smaller foot. The insole seems wide enough, though, so perhaps it's a matter of having more height in my foot. My main problem is that my little toe rests right on the seam at the edge. Sometimes it helps to leave the strap at the toes looser; other times tighter seems to work. Also, I'm used to wearing socks with my shoes, so I've got to get my feet accustomed to no socks. I do like the flexible sole, and the shoes are very attractive and seem to be very well made.

Stiff leather so had to put moleskin inside ankle strap. I am keeping them because the footbed is good.

This is a pretty shoe, but too flat for me. No arch support. I have older slightly arthritic feet. May be fine for young strong feet. Soft leather. Size 38 fit my size 8s perfectly.

These shoes are very comfortable and they look good, too. However, for my particular situation, I have plantar fasciitis, a painful condition of the bottom of the heel. I find the heel of the shoe slightly hard and inflexible. It is only slight and does not keep me from wearing them as long as I'm not planning to wear them for really long periods of time. Also, the edge of the front strap of the shoe sometimes cuts into my skin but usually can be adjusted out. I must say that the arch support is great. As long as you do not have the same issues as me, these should be perfect shoes for you and even if you do share these issues, you'll still be generally pleased.

Very pleased - Zappos is great; got the shoe to me in just a few days. I love the shoe, it looks great on. It rubs a little at the straps, but it is getting more comfortable every day. The straps make it so that you can really get a good fit. The removable orthotic is great, I was able to have it modified to be just like the orthotic I wear in my other shoes, so now I have a sandal I can wear (for the first time since I've needed an orthotic to be comfortable). Plus, the removable footbed is identical in all of the Naot sandals, so I can move the modified one to another shoe easily and not have to modify them all (expensive). I'm very happy with this solution and love the way the shoe looks!

Stiff leather!

Too narrow leaving too much Velcro exposed.

I have a veras in my left foot from bunion surgery and that particular style was too narrow through the toe area. Love the look of these though. So have to return.

I am so bummed to have to return these. The shape of the footbed (pretty much straight out from the big toe) does not work for me; my left foot has a bunion and my toes hang over the outside edge of the show. Apparently the ONLY NAOT footbed now available that I can wear is the rounded toe one Naot uses on Cornet--and on VERY few other sandals. PLEASE, NAOT, do not discontinue that footbed. The leather on the Karenna is a little stiff but I'm pretty sure that would soften up. But the shape of the footbed is a deal breaker.

Loved these shoes but had to send them back as they were too narrow. NAOT, if you're reading these reviews please consider giving us a few more styles in MEDIUM and MEDIUM-WIDE!
