I have been in the construction business for nearly 40 years. In all that time, I have only purchased one brand of work boot. Timberland! The first pair lasted 10 years. When that eventually wore out I purchased another. That pair lasted nearly 8 years. Since then I've had to purchase a pair nearly every year as they didn't seem to last as long. The next 2 pairs I've owned barely lasted 6 months. My most recent pair has fallen apart within 4 months. Now I won't claim to understand what happened to your quality but you've definitely lost it. Maybe you should focus less on planting trees and trying to save the planet and focus more on building a product worthy of the name you've established for yourself. Maybe you've designed for planned obsolescence in an effort to sell more boots. I, for one, will never buy another pair. Best of luck to you as your company is destined to fall apart as quickly as your product.

These clowns sell used boots all the time, I have boots that are +5 years that don't have wrinkles on them. I ordered 3 new pairs of boots and 2 were wrinkled. Timberland refused a refund.

I have owned *many* Timberland boots since the 1990s. They used to be as waterproof as a dishpan.
I have no idea what changed, but every pair of timberlands boots I purchased within the last five years— *including* this ‘premium’ design— leaks almost immediately. It’s like they literally absorb water.
Here’s an example of what I mean:
When I walk across a freshly-mopped floor that has a thin film of water remaining, my feet get wet.
I hate this.
Timberland, if you are listening, either actually make your boots waterproof or please stop calling them ‘waterproof’.
I’m sick of paying 200 bucks to have soaking wet feet and a shiny little metal badge that says ‘waterproof’.

Couldn't say
Thought my 18 year old child tried these, but apparently not, because there are only 3 pairs in the box and they are all wheat color, and no others were delivered.

Sadly the shoes run EXTREMELY SMALL. I bought a 9 1/2 for my son HIS TRUE SIZE and ended up needing an 11. Unfortunately the store is only online and it's 5 days before Christmas so yea bummer.
Customer service was GREAT however.

I've been buying these boots over 20 years and this is the first time I'm disappointed . The stitching on the side is coming out before I've put them on. Very disappointed

Premium boot is not premium quality. Stitching inconsistent and came with torn nubuck material.

These timberlands were good. It just doesn’t look new. The black isn’t dark enough and they look like they’ve been sitting on a bottom shelf somewhere with other stuff packed on top of it.

Horrible quality both soles came off first time I wore them.

I ordered these to replace an old worn pair of Merrell boots. The Timberland's look great in black, but they are terribly uncomfortable to wear. The tongue behind laces dig into the ankle, the heel is extremely hard with minimal cushion, I tried regular and wide but they still don't fit normal in the front, there's extra space on the top of my foot, and the lace material is too thin so they don't stay tight. I even tried Dr. Scholl's inserts and it was minimal difference. The old worn out Merrell's are still like walking on a cloud compared to the Timberland's. They won't take them back after wearing one day, told me to sell outright to recover my money to then buy a different pair, only the Pro lineup qualifies for 30 day testing. Also, I'm normally a size 9 in all boots and shoes, these run large, so I had to size down to 8.5 to fit well.

Very disappointed with these boots as the padded collar is bulky and uncomfortable. Honestly, I can't believe that Timberland discontinued the Basic Boot with the full leather upper. This was a boot I wore for decades and whose design transcended time and it makes me wonder if Timberland has lost touch with their customers. Anyway, this boot is going back to the store as its a far cry from the Timberlands of past.

Extremely disappointed. Will return. Quality of old simply isn't there anymore. Leather is far thinner, esp in the tongue, the boots dig into my ankles, insoles offer little cushion. Uncomfortable

Like the title says, I have a pair that's five years old and still comfortable. Wanted another pair in different color. Ordered 8.5 again (9 in all other brands) and they were huge. Returned for an 8, still swimming in these things. They're so wide they are causing a blister inside my ankle. Literally unwearable.
