The seams where the tongue is attached to the boot near the top were sewn so that it felt like a small rock rubbing against my inner ankle on both shoes. It was so painful I couldn't wear them. Online I found that other people had this same problem. I would have returned them but they were a gift and I didn't have the receipt available. I wanted to give them a chance since I know they need broken in and they look nice. They also no longer had my size available online so I didn't want to try to exchange them. I had to take them to a cobbler and pay $40 to have the seams re-sewn properly underneath the tongue so that they weren't killing my ankles. Really poor design and quality on Timberland's part. I would expect more from this high-cost boot and I won't be buying another pair.

Way too high priced for a import boot that's not able too be recrafted with age. Danner is my choice. I'm sure timberland will remove this post.

Yes, they look good, but not so great as on the picture. But the main con is that they are very uncomfortable (jumping, running, long walking). Would not buy again.

These just run really large. My son wears a men's size 13.5/14 and as these don't come in a half size over 12 we ordered the 14. HUGE like maybe a full size, maybe even a size and a half which leads me back to the problem of no half sizes over 12. It's unfortunate that a man who is tall and slim has so few items that fit well.

Purchase these and love them until the end of the year when the sole started separating from the boot Itself so they are no longer waterproof and even when I stepped in mud it tends to get in between the boot and the soul so I would not recommend

Bought for the anti-fatigue midsole. I don't know if I received the wrong boots, but the midsoles were hard plastic. The actual anti-fatigue insoles seem good, but those can be bought separately and added to boots that don't cost $190. Returned.

I was really excited to get these boots, however, when they arrived the sole of the right boot was not attached to the shoe. It was just curled up inside the boot. I sent it back with the return label a week ago and still have not heard from Timberland about my damaged product.

The right foot tongue will always go off towards right side exposing my foot to have direct contact with the lace-eye. Have a bruise already and it really hurts after two days of wearing it. Contacted customer service and was told that I have to pay shipping to mail to Timb's and wait another 3-4 weeks for the inspection. This is not what i expect from a $200+ boots (after tax).

I enjoyed these boots for the first year, but by year two the leather is starting to crack and the outsole is starting to separate and allow water into the boot. I've worn these boots about 80% of the time and have conditioned them as necessary to keep them in shape, can't say they've been abused either. It's a shame, they feel and look great, just wish they were as durable as the last couple of Timberlands I had purchased. The previous pairs got me 3-4 years and cost less than these boots

This pair of boots is the hardest shoes that I have ever wear, the ankle part is really uncomfortable for normal walking. Please consider this problem.

I bought these boots online for my husband for his birthday. He mentioned a week prior to his birthday that his old pair were worn out, (after 4 years), and that he'd like a new pair of the same style. I ordered them online on a Tuesday night, and requested overnight shipping. Normal shipping says 3-5 days, so I didn't want to risk them not being here for his bday. Wednesday I was told my order was sent in too late on the previous night, so the order was processed Wednesday. No big deal; that still gives me time, his bday wasn't until Sunday. Thursday when they didn't come, I called customer service and was told they "had some computer issues, but they've been processed and the tag has been made for UPS. They will be there tomorrow, for sure!" Friday came and went-- no boots. Called again and was told the same thing, but this time was told she was "going to look into it and either call or email me back, but they DEFINITELY will be there by tomorrow." Never heard a thing. Saturday afternoon I called UPS and was told they still only had a label made because THEY WERE NEVER GIVEN THE PRODUCT TO SHIP. I called Timberland yet again and was told "the label was made." I informed her the labels "been made" since Wednesday, it is now Saturday, my husbands bday present isn't here, and now the money has been withdrawn from my account while nobody seems to know a thing about where my order is. She looked into it with me still on the phone, and found out it was because THE ORDER WAS NEVER PROCESSED TO BEGIN WITH. She did the best she could-- reprocessed my order and withdrew the overnight fee which was appreciated, but it didn't change the fact that the overnight option was a lie and that I had called in more than once beforehand and was continuously told it was already processed-- the blame put on UPS. Needless to say I'm never ordering through them again. Spend 20$ extra and buy them from a store that sells them; much less of a headache.
