I was a little disappointed with this purchase because after I received my boots I notice scuffles on both of my boots. As if they were made ina rush. It looked like the clear adhesive that used to glue soles. I really like the boots just wish they took time to make them since it's being sent to the homes and unable to check them out before buying them like when you go to a store.

I went to a store to purchase these & the ones I tried on were alittle worn. Decided to order from the website to get a fresh pair. I received them & had the same issue. They were alittle discolored & the soles were ashy. These boots are too expensive to not get quality, especially if you're ordering directly from the producer.

Don't get me wrong even doe the color is way darker than expected. I was really surprised how it looked in person wasn't expecting it. But i still liked how the timbs look afterward. But for this particular pair the color is not the same from the picture in person. WAY WAY darker

Only complaint I have could possibly be due to shipping, but their can sometimes be minor scars and scuffles. I'm convinced they could possibly just not be made to perfection. I do want to note however that the timberland website does ship better condition pairs then any other retailer I've expereinced. Pointed this out for anyone who is like me and wants perfection especially with the suede pair. Nevertheless, I purchased these particular pair for my uncle who is a law enforcement agent Prefers them for snowy days. We both share the same size 11.5 but for these particular pair he got a size 12 because he uses work ensoles & etc. I'd recommend for anyone using for casual purposes, along with any other pair of timberlands to purchase a half a size smaller. I'm an avid timberland wearer and I always purchase mine in a size 11 with my 11.5 foot which happens to be a pretty masculine foot in case your wondering. For these pair I don't believe you have a half a size option anyways. Hope this helps. Best of luck!

Owned over 30 pairs of the classic 6 inch boot over the years and have been waiting for this colorway to be rereleased as the pair I have now has seen better days. Jumped on it as soon as it released but when received noticed I was unfortunate to get a defected pair. Had bad scuffs, glue spots and a large black mark across the side of one of the boots. Had to return it and lucked out since they were sold out.

These are very wide! I have tried so many Timberland boots and they all run wide. Even the mediums. These also had very cheap laces with them.

Bought these boots for my boyfriend who coaches lacrosse outdoors in Indiana. Got tired of him buying cheap pairs and researched to find the best pair and fell upon these. Delivery was extremely quick and great. Found the boots to unfortunately be a whole Size too big instead of a half like most people said. Also when the boots arrived to him in Indiana one of the eyelets was not connected to the boot. Very displeased with this after spending this amount of money. Otherwise the boots would have been a great purchase. Had to return them and took a while for the money to be refunded to me. Would possibly think about buying another pair from a store instead next time.

I've been a Timberland wearer for over 20 years. To me, this product is of less quality than the Timberland's of back in the day.

Bought from Timberland.com. Bought wrong size. No return and exchange, just return. Much easier if I could return/exchange . Would receive faster so returned and bought at local store.

Sadly, after just 6 months of wear these boots ripped at the bottom inside seam. My sons foot is getting wet. I want to order another pair but his size is out-of-stock.

Loved these boots until they were destroyed by normal wear and tear in less than a year. I wore them several days a week in the city, nothing but walking and never more than a few miles a day. I didn't notice that the base of the shoe was separating until it was too late, that the glue that kept the base stuck to the rubber sole had broken down to the point of being unusable. I expect more from a boot that costs this much. It's a shame, otherwise I thought it was a great boot.

I like the look and color of the boots a lot. They were very comfortable in terms of interior comfort as soon as I put them on, and the wide width fits my EEE foot very well. My major complaint is that the hard Vibram sole is incredibly stiff and unforgiving. It negates any cushioning the foot pad provides. I put in an extra heel cushion in each boot and that helps a little, but I still feel like I'm clunking around on a pair of old army boots. I have bad knees, so I need more cushion and a softer, more pliable sole or my knees (and back) get sore very quickly. I may change the sole of these boots to a spongier Vibram sole that I put on all my leather-bottomed shoes. But I bought the Timberlands for walking in the snow, which they handle pretty well. I have two pairs of waterproof Timberland Earth Movers boots that have softer waffle-bottom soles, but it's like ice-skating when I walk on snow/ice with them - no grip whatsoever. So I guess the trade-off is between better gripping power vs. a comfortable walking experience.

Overall very nice boots. They do run very large so be aware of that. Fortunately Zappos has a great exchange policy. There were some defects in the boots. I had to send them back 2 times to get it right. There was a pucker where the upper is stitched to the ankle of the boot. I didn't like this. The pair I finally kept still has this pucker but it does not seem to affect the comfort. These boots are stiff and will need breaking in. I was hoping they would be more comfortable so that I could use them for hiking but there is not a lot of support in them. They are fine for working but that is about it. I also question the waterproofing a little bit. For a bombproof set of workboots, these are great.
