Great work boot!! This is my 2nd pair of these boots. I'm in construction so I use them specifically for work. Lives up to the Dr. Martens name. Comfortable and durable. Fits true to size. Feels a bit heavy at times but they are steel toed boots.

I have been wearing steel toe boots for over 10 years. These are by far the most comfortable I have ever had. I have a Dr. Marten's pair of casual boots, and I figured these would be a lot heavier. But they are almost the same weight. ZAPPOS is AWESOME.

Dr. Martens 8845 - Let me see, how can I sum this up quickly? My Favorite Boot, fits and feels like a slipper. True to Dr. Martens confront and size. The Best Steel toe out there.

Totally satisfied - I put off getting new work boots because, well, no one wants to be seen in brand new boots, and these were the first I ordered. They're fantastic! Very comfortable, and light enough to walk easily in (I'm a girl) but heavy enough to feel protected. I haven't had them in the rain yet, so no news there, but after 3+ weeks with no break-in blisters, I'm sold. They did feel a little bit larger inside, but a different size wouldn't have helped. I added an insole, which took quick care of the problem. I definitely recommend these!

Best pair of shoes I've ever owned! I've had my pair for about a year and a half now, and they just refuse to wear out. I've shocked them, lit them on fire, and gotten them caught in an auger and they hardly have a scratch on them. I wear them everyday in the field and just can't believe how durable they are. If I ever manage to wear out this pair (not going to happen anytime soon) I'll probably get the same series. An amazing shoe!

Great boot, couldn't be more pleased - I am on my second pair of these boots and I think they are the best work boot I have ever put on. I ordered my second pair about a year ago, they are still going strong. No break in time at all, very comfortable from the get go!! Doc makes a great product. In fact, I have just ordered another Doc in a pull on style!!! Zappos is the best I ordered the pull ons last night about 6:00pm and when I tracked them on ups.com they were out for delivery already, that is less than 24 hours and free. In fact I found the pull on boot a little cheaper at another site but they wanted to charge me for shipping and said it would take a week or so just to send it out. Went back to Zappos and I'll have my boots this afternoon!! YOU ROCK, ZAPPOS & DOC MARTENS, great combo!!!!

So far, so good!!! This is the first time for Dr. Marten's steel toe work shoe so I don't know how they will hold up but so far they are comfortable, a great fit and nice looking work boot.

Best Dr. M boot - This is my second pair. I bought these a size smaller than I normally wear were tight at first but after one week were perfect. Unfortunately they continued to stretch. I have had current pair for seven months and I am ready for a third pair of socks. I walk a lot in these. Look great and will buy again this time another size smaller the leather is soft and stretches to fit quick. A lot of compliments.

Great work boot - I’ve purchased about four of these boots. They last about 2 years. Very comfortable. Best work boot I have every owned. Very heavy boot.

Get Thick Socks!!! As with any work boot, if you walk a lot you should get thick socks. After I did this, I was in walking heaven. I walk a few miles a day in these and after buying the thick socks, they feel great. They were comfortable before that, but I got blisters pretty bad. Hope it helps.

Excellent work boots - These boots have turned out to be one of the most comfortable work boots ever bought. Your feet are never sore and they are pretty light weight compared to most steel toe boots. I would recommend these boots over any boots out there.

Best of the best - Doc Martens are the best shoe/boot on the market. I work on my feet for twelve hours at a time or better, in the past my feet always hurt, three years ago I started ordering the doc martin's style 8845 and I have not had any more problems.

Great for work - I am on my second pair of these boots and the only reason is because I was working in some unsanitary conditions after Hurricane Katrina ( I just threw them away. Anyways, these boots are great. No breakin period at all. Fit great, very comfortable for a steel toe boot. I swear you cannot wear them out, I have tried. The air cushioned sole makes a huge difference. I am able to stand all day wearing these boots without my feet hurting and I'm a big guy! Do not hesitate buy these now!!!

Very comfortable! I work for a the phone company doing line repairs and installs and I fine these boots to be very pleasant to wear for long periods of time and to work in. The steel toe does take sometime to get used but after just a few days they felt great. The only problem I have found is they can get hot my solution was to wear lighter socks.

Great Service!!! My son has worn this Doc's 8845 boot for several years and won't even try anything else. He is an electrician, up and down ladders all day. He loves the comfort/style/fit. Dr. Martens are the shiznet - Best boot I ever had hands down!!! Got ran over by a forklift and I did not break one bone in my foot, just a sprained ankle Will never by another boot but these. The Best in safety.

Sharp-dressed man - If you want a good-looking boot that meets hard-toe safety requirements, this is it. If you have wide feet like me, this is the one you want, along with all of the other Doc shoe's I've worn. Some of the other boots are too narrow at the toe and cause pain. These are very comfortable.

6th Pair in a Row! My husband wears these and only these to work everyday. He is a General Contractor for a commercial construction comp and just loves these boots!

Great work boot for cement floors - Pretty stiff at first (expected with leather) but after about a week's worth of wearing them they were the exact size to my foot-- I did however order a size smaller than last year because due to the wear I had with my last pair, they ended up being about a size larger than my foot...

Hot Work Boots!! I needed work boots (steel toe) so I ordered these, not only are they comfy but they are fashionable!
