As a Certified Dental Assisting student, I could have bought the usual "Duty shoes" that are designed for nurses, etc. But many of them have thick soles. I would find that unsuitable for operating the foot controls of the dental chair. I also find myself hurrying between classes, so a lace-up shoe would be a bother. Since I was looking for a shoe with a thinner sole, and a 'wipeable' (i.e. leather) material, and a slip-on style - this shoe is perfect! I might end up getting a second pair, so I can air one pair out and have an alternate pair to wear the next day. Might get it a half size smaller, too, as I seem to have extra space in the toe. And since I can only find the annoying, bog-standard, "Medium" width in stores, I will order them in "Wide" from Zappos again. And they will probably again arrive in a heart beat! I had to get them quickly for school. Thanks, Zappos!

Zappos was easy to shop and my shoes arrived quickly. The first pair didn't fit. I had to order a half size smaller. The return was simple and painless the second pair arrived in time for the weekend event. Couldn't have been easier.

Very comfortable, though would still like for Keds to come back with the thicker, more cushioned sole in this type of shoe. Great for traveling through airports. Easy to keep clean. Size true to form.

My wife likes the shoes. Bought them originally in 5.5 but had to return them and buy in 5. She has an impossible time finding her size. The return process was easy and flawless. She loves the shoes.

First couple wearing were stiff and just a tiny bit tight...after that...now love these shoes! Great to run around in if it is raining!

Thank goodness for these shoes. There's an absolute dirth of leather casual shoes IN NARROW. These Keds excellently fill that void. Size is dead-on; leather very good, long lasting quality. Re cleaning them: my advice is not to throw them in the washing machine, but to hand wash whatever is dirty. The Magic Sponge works great.

Very comfortable shoe. It was initially a bit snug and my feet would feel kind of numb after a day, but wearing them with socks for a few days made the shoes a little looser. I think I should have gotten a 7.5 wide, instead of the 8 wide. There's extra room length wise. I generally wear 8 or 8.5, depending on the type of shoe - 8 in sandals and 8.5 in sneakers. So it's surprising that the 8 would be so roomy. Maybe it has something to do with the width? I might try getting a 7.5 wide and see how they compare. I think these are my new favorites! Much more support than Converse and less clunky.

I wanted a slip on but with the benefit of being a full shoe. I enjoy my shoe except I should have ordered 1/2 size smaller because it slips a little on my foot, I usually wear a 7 & 1/2 so that's what I ordered, by the time I thought about sending them back I had already worn them a week & didn't think I could return them (I didn't call to find out either). Overall I love my shoe!

Really love these shoes! Shipped out the next day! I buy a new pair every year, and wear the old pair in the garden.

I love these leather slip-ons. I have a pair that is 20 years old and I still wear them, but it is time for a new pair, the one's I have are just beginning to come apart.

I have had three surgeries on my foot and can't wear most shoes. I have been wearing Keds leather ones for years and the arch really helps. I appreciate Zappos because if something is wrong, they will pay for the shipping back to them and not charge you for returns.

I have purchased this shoe before, so I am a fan. That said, I have a narrow foot - narrower in the heel than toe - and have a challenging time finding shoes that fit. I was happy that these come in a Narrow/Slim fit, especially being slip ons (which can just as easily slip off!). These have a nice taper around the heel while leaving room in the toebox. Unfortunately there's also a half-size difference in my feet. So while these fit my larger foot pretty well, they still slipped off my shorter foot. Also, despite being Narrow/Slim fit, there was still a pretty significant gaping around the midfoot as I walked around in them. Oddly, the Keds Double Decker slip on in a medium, seemed to have less slipage on the shorter foot and less gaping (still some though). But that's why I buy from Zappos - allows me to try different styles with easy returns. SO important with my odd-sized feet!!!

Too wide

I was disappointed that there was very little cushioning and arch support in these sneakers. I was really hoping these would work for me, but I will be returning.

This shoe is not the same keds slip on leather shoe of several years ago in quality of leather but still nice and very practical. Shoe runs big and so returned for another size.

Thanks to the excellent shipping program that Zappos offers, I now have the shoes I really wanted to buy. It took3 pairs back and forth, but I was definitely impressed with their service!

These are a very cute shoe. I am a size 6, but usually have to size up to 6.5 becuause I have a wide foot. I was happy to see these in a wide, so ordered the 6 wide. They were so big! Almost an inch over my big toe, and my heel easily slipped out. Never had that happen before! I am going to try the 5.5 wide now.

The shoe was attractive but the top tab of shoe was too stiff to go over my foot.

nice shoes but way too wide. doesn't feel like a narrow fit at all. I'm returning them.

I liked the way the shoe fit, but after wearing it a while around the house, it rubbed on my inside of my foot. Maybe my foot pronates a little too much for this design.

Good old Keds. I decided not to keep them but they are exactly the same as I remember from many years ago.

Cute shoes, goes well with jeans or shorts and some skirts. I enjoy wearing them.

I am usually a size 5.5M or 6M. My foot is slightly wide across the knuckles, medium instep. This shoe, 6W, too roomy and long for my foot. The leather is nice quality.
