I've been wearing Dockers Gordon for at least ten years. Good looking and comfortable shoe at a good price. This latest pair is disappointing in quality of leather. I'll keep them, but the leather is cheaper and stiffer than past pairs.

Not as well made as I'd like, but it's still a smart looking shoe for the price.

Excellent capped toe designed shoe. The shoe has a much deeper red color than shown in the pictures here. Not a true brown, more of a chestnut reddish brown. Having said that, it makes for a quite stylish looking shoe for its price. I have received multiple compliments on the shoe's style.

Shoes are of medium quality. Very comfortable and look great. Price was average compared to what I found in stores. I am satisfied with this purchase.

These shoes are very good for walking. I covered about 5 miles in Manhattan for work going between clients a couple of days ago and they were comfy all day. Shined up, they look fine with a suit.

Great shoe for a great price. Size is true. I've been wearing Johnston and Murphy and Allen Edmonds for many years ($200 - $300 per pair) and can recommend Gordon as a good alternative at a much lower price. You might want to replace the "fluffy" laces with some thinner, waxed ones to dress them up a little, though.

This is the second pair of this exact same shoe in this size that I have had. The first is 15 years old and I had it resoled once. The interior leather is finally deteriorating. I still wear the old pair when I don't need something in perfect condition. I have trouble finding shoes wide enough at the toe but not too wide elsewhere. This shoe is better than any shoe (athletic, dress, or boot) I have gotten in the last 5 (maybe 10) years.

Decent shoe. I bought both the black and the brown. They didn't require a lot of break in. They were pretty comfy from the start. My only complaint is that they squeak around the tongue when I walk. Sometime more than others and I can't figure out what's causing it. On the bright side, the soles don't squeak on tile floors like the pairs they've replaced - #61514. For the price, I think they're a darn good shoe.

Reasonably priced, attractive shoe that NEEDS BREAKING IN - I give this shoe three stars for comfort because the first two times I wore them I was in pretty excruciating pain. The first time, my right foot developed the worst blister I've ever had and the leather was so stiff that even beyond the blister my feet just hurt in general. The second time, the blister problem didn't come back but they still made my feet hurt. By the third time, they were very comfortable. I should also mention that I walk about a mile a day while going to and from work, so if you walk less it might take longer to break the shoes in, but the initial uncomfortableness will probably be less severe. The shoes are narrow, so consider getting them in wide if your feet at all wider than normal. They look good for a $60 shoe. The rubber sole seems hardy.

Dockers Shoe - Nice shoe - It's hard to find 15's that look good. It fit's ok, but still needs to be broken in.

Rubbing the grass - Recently I was seated in the grass and my shoes were rubbing the grass. The paint of my shoes suffered an important kind of waste of paint. Maybe was my fault, but I never thought that it was very easy to damage the paint of my shoes.

Classic cap toe oxford - Exactly what I was looking for. They felt a little snug but they're leather and stretched perfectly. You do need to break them in a bit.

I bought this pair in black about a week ago. The left shoe had some rough edges on the inside part of the shoe's upper, right around where the laces are. This made it sort of bite into the top of my foot a little and was uncomfortable for the first couple of days. Seems to have broken in now and is fine, so eventually I got what I thought what I was getting i.e. a modestly priced shoe to wear to work.

Nice balance between dressy looks and casual feel - I bought these shoes in both black and cordovan. They needed a week or two of mildly uncomfortable break-in before I could forget they were on my feet. They are not as comfortable as sneakers or other casual shoes I've owned, but they are more comfortable than most dress shoes. My size is 9D (medium). Perhaps a step up in width would have been a better choice. They are good looking shoes...perfect for business casual wear. I probably could wear them with a suit, but haven't yet. The cordovan pair has a more natural shine than the black. They are a bit too dressy for jeans though. I was pleasantly surprised by the grip of the rubber soles on wet surfaces, excellent traction. All in all, I am now quite satisfied and would consider ordering them again.

Nothing beats for everyday use - I got this to wear it everyday to work. And they fit the purpose just fine. Excellent cushion comfort and a smooth break in. Not flashy and not too normal. It’s perfect for the office.

Dockers Comfort, Business Look - "Business Casual" is often a difficult target to hit. It seems you're always trading off smart looks for comfort or vice-versa. Dockers Gordon hits the mark perfectly. Just the right amount of eye-catching but not stuffy seams, an unpretentious cap toe and a finish that holds a shine just a notch or two above casual. And yet the comfort - what you usually think of when you think Dockers! No break-in time, just tie-em up and go. But there's more! After passing up a few foul-weather days to wear them for the first time, a surprise deluge on the first night found me stepping into puddles almost up to the laces. Cursing under my breath and stumbling to the car in the dark, I waited to feel the wetness creep in to the skin and make me seethe. By the time I started the car I finally realized that there was no wetness, the 'Gordon’s' held up like boots. Like boots! A very happy surprise. Now, color, I've always preferred cordovan over any other color, and this shade, a dark cordovan also strikes just the right balance between business and casual. No, not too happy with these shoes - not much! OK, send me them in black too.

Good Shoe - I am not one to "break" shoes in. I believe they ought to feel pretty good from the first. These do feel good except for a little ridge on the right side behind my big toe. It was slight enough to keep the shoes. They were just what I was looking for.

Not What Expected - Though a quality shoe, it doesn't have the dress look that I expected. A bit too casual.

I've had this shoe before and when I ordered I went with the size on the old shoes. I find the new ones are a bit tight on length, but hope they will soften and stretch as I wear them.

Good shoe - After a couple weaks of wear, my only negative about this shoe was the initial break-in. For the first couple of wearings, the shoe was stiff. Now they have broken in nicely and are very comfortable. I bought this style for the rubber sole to keep my feet dry in wet weather. Another brand I had previously with the rubber sole began squeaking so bad on any surface that I couldn't take it any more. I purchased these as the replacements and so far no squeaks!

Big Shoes - Shoes are comfortable. Look better than I expected. They do not breath the best. Overall a good purchase for the money. Zappos did a great job delivering on time with updated information on each step of the process. Keep carring size 17s and I will be a customer for life.
