I bought these shoes for my husband, who has a hard time finding his size (Mens 7) in stores. They are really good looking, and will dress up a pair of nice jeans and also look great with slacks. I love the details on the toe box. He reports that they are really comfy and supportive too, which is great as he's on his feet all day. We got the burgandy/brown and the color is LOVELY!

I'm on my second pair of these shoes. I bought and wear them for work, but I have also worn them on semi formal occasions. They are a bit bulkier than a formal shoe, but when polished up look fine with a suit. They do take a few days to break in, but then are very comfortable. Now for my only complaint. I would probably still be wearing my first pair, except the soles split across the width of the shoe at the ball of the foot. Given that I wear them 5 days a week every week, they have held up better than any other pair of work shoes I've ever had, but I think a slight design change in the sole would make them even better. There is a channel along the bottom of the sole at the point where they split, and I think if that were not there the shoes would have lasted even longer. I couldn't say when the split occurred, but I have had them for over a year now and still wear them every day. I just try not to step in puddles or walk on wet pavement. That being said, I will buy another pair of Dockers shoes. I will just try one with a different sole design.

This is a great pair of dress shoes for those that do a lot of walking in a business environment. I work as a security guard in a high rise building and have just recently ordered my third pair. It's a good compromise between comfort and style. The best part for me is that they are made from genuine leather inside and out and thus naturally reduce sweat and heat buildup. This is a big plus for me because I have bigger skin pores and sweat easily. The cons are: they take about 1-2 weeks to break in and will feel uncomfortable at first because the leather needs time to conform to your foot. Stick it out and your feet will soon feel like they are in heaven (unless you get the wrong size of course). Also, the shoes will feel cooler as the break in. Next, these shoes only last about a year for me and the sole wears out pretty quickly (perhaps because I walk around quite a bit throughout my shift or perhaps there isn't much sole at the front to begin with). Lastly, the shoe laces suck! Go out and pick up some quality shoelaces as the original ones will shred in 3-5 months. Overall, I think the price is right and the shoes have good value. I definitely recommend them.

I have worn these shoes for over five years - I just ordered and received my third pair. I tend to wear my shoes a little longer than I probably should; however, for most people I would say these would last a year before a replacement pair is needed. For the price, you cannot beat these shoes. Out of the box they do have a plastic look to them, but they wear well and begin to look more natural quickly. The laces are more boot style. I have always bought a nice pair from Jos. A. Banks/ etc. and replaced them. It gives them a dressier feel. I find they are pretty versatile as well. They dress up well for the office, but also look nice with a pair of dark jeans if your heading to dinner.

Would buy these again - my son likes them, although doesn't like them as much as the School Issue: Scholar ones which he outgrew (and which don't come in his size any more).

Bought these for my husband, his second pair. He wears them to work nearly every day. First pair lasted about 2 years - leather cracked at seam along top of shoe. This new pair seems stiffer than first pair. He has a normal width foot size 10.5, but the D width was too tight so had to go to the "wide" EE width. This these are good value for the money.

Needed to exchange as the original pair was a bit small and tight (had to go from a 10 to a 10.5, and went from normal width to wide width). Exchange went well, without a hitch.

The Pros: I have trouble finding dress shoes my size without spending a lot of money. These look great, are not expensive and run true to size. The Cons: They are pretty stiff, so if you are looking for something that you'll wear day-in and day-out, not sure if they work. They may break in over time, at least I hope so. Overall: I would probably buy them again because of the constraints I mentioned, and because they do look great for formal wear, but I would not if I was looking for every day shoes.

Shoes were great for their price, very comfortable, good arch support. My only problem with them was the durability, the soles were worn after just 8 months (usually my shoes last 1.5yrs with regular use), but I guess for the price it's expected.

You know, these shoes are cheap, and they are Dockers, so I can understand why potential buyers would be suspicious. However, for the budget minded shoe buyer, this could be a good choice. I purchased these about four years ago, and at first, they felt stiff and cheap. However, as time has gone on, they've become softer, incredibly comfortable, and very wearable. They're my go-to shoe for work, and I never would have predicted that from the first day or two of wearing them. Just goes to show that some shoes get better with time, and this is one of them. A note on the color: in real life they are a bit on the redder side, and a bit lighter than this photo lets on. But not too much redder or lighter. Just a little.

Overall I am happy with these shoes. I bought a size smaller than I normally wear but they still feel a little big. That could be that I have long but narrow feet though. The inside of the shoes are contoured and comfortable. The first couple of days were a little painful until the leather broke in buy after that there were no more issues. I would buy these again.

Good quality shoe, and I expect it will last over time. It takes a few days to break it in. The leather is stiff and the seam behind the toes will dig into the top of your foot for the first few days when walking. Once its broken in though, very comfortable shoe that looks great with my office wear.

Great looking shoe -unfortunately seem a little tight right across the top of the foot as the shoe would flex when you walked - perhaps they need more break in time but it gets a bit uncomfortable over time.

Good shoe for the price. You will need a set of orthotics if you walk a lot. Break in is fairly easy. I would buy again.

Hey! What can I say? These shoes are a spectacular value. I have had slightly more comfortable shoes and I have had slightly better looking shoes. I've never had a pair that were such a good combination of comfort and looks, though, and certainly not at such a great price!

These shoes look really sharp, and for the price, are one of the nicest pairs I have seen. However, they seem to run a bit narrow. I ordered them wide due to my wide feet and my feet were in pretty significant pain for the first couple of days. Ended up having to very loosely tie them until they broke in a bit. Now they fit very nicely. Had they been more comfortable out of the box, I would have given them 5 stars. Regardless, they are a very sharp looking shoe.

Great shoes! I'm very picky about my shoes. I wanted some shoes for work but couldn't afford the ones I wanted. These are awesome! So comfortable!

These are really great shoes, although I am still breaking them in. The best part about these shoes is not the shoes themselves, but the Zappos service. I had to return the 1st pair I bought because they were simply too small. But, Zappos' ease of returning the shoes made it easier for me to order a replacement pair.

Great wearing shoe and an excellent value. I alternate the brown and black pairs daily to work in an office environment. Only complaint about the brown is that to me they come a bit more red/orange that they appear in the picture.

Really darned good shoe! Stylish, fits well, adds a little flare to your outfit, which a standard brown shoe would not do (this one is more burgundy than brown). Comfortable, and well priced!

Good looking, with attention to detail. Fairly comfortable as dress shoe, but would not recommend as a work shoe.

I was very happy they had wide sizes. I'm wearing them while writing this, and am quite happy with their comfort as compared to the price I paid. I really like the toe cap design. It's a little bit of style, nothing too ostentatious.

If looking for a classic shoe, this one fits the bill! Not as stiff as they appear to be actually quite flexible and true to size these shoes are well worth the money compared to others that would fall into the category of dress shoes!

Just ordered a 2nd pair in black for my husband. He wears a size 16 and it's difficult to find affordable shoes. These shoes look more expensive and fit well.
