Super cute AND There was no kidding when someone said no breaking these in. I bought these for a country themed dance party. Danced in them for 2 hours then we out and danced some more. No pain. The no is I have pretty big calves and these barely fit over them. If I was wearing pants I would not be able to wear them unless they are under the pants.

I bought these boots the first time about 15 years ago and I love them. I needed a new pair and was excited to find them again. However, the edge of the sole sticks out way to far around the edge of the boot now. They have a more masculine look about them. I was sad to see this. Returned my boots.

Good fit, but it felt too slick on the bottom.

Pros: True to size, beautiful boots that fit comfortably right out of the box. The leather is supple and they fit like a glove right away. Excellent if you're leaning more towards style than utility.
Cons: Arch support is oddly placed in this shoe and the lining will be great for winter warmth but not for hot, muggy summer wear.
If the heel had been 1/4 inch shorter, I don't think I would have had to return these. It felt as if the sole of the shoes was not molded well so the presence and height of the heel dug into the my arch way towards the back of the sole...strange placement, really.
I wear a size 9 in boots as they provide me enough room to double up on socks if need be. I ordered these in a size 9 and they fit perfectly. I also had no trouble getting them onto my feet.
I've worn unlined leather boots for the last 4 years because I don't really sweat in them even on the hottest days. The lining in this shoe is similar to a pair of faux leather Target boots that I have and due to the lack of breathability of fake leather, that pairing makes sense. I never wear those in the summer. For these Durangos - the lining seems counter-intuitive.

These are gorgeous. I typically wear a size 9.5-10. I ordered a 10 and they were too narrow and snug. Bummed!

These are well made, super cute boots that go with everything - over or under jeans. I generally am a 6½ in sandals/heels, and a 7 in boots. I ordered a 7, it felt perhaps a tad large, but then I thought about needing thicker socks in the winter and stayed with the 7. I would say they run fairly true to size, maybe a hair large, but sometimes in tapered boots that is a good thing. I was concerned about the specs given saying that the heel was a 2", because the pictures of the boots make them look shorter, like regular daily cowboy boots. They are indeed 2", from the absolute back of the boot, the tallest part of the heel. It feels normal. As far as cowboy boots go, these are quite comfortable. I am still thinking of putting in some gel cushions, as the inside bottom is a little hard. Overall, though, the boot has some lining along the sides of the calf, and feels very well constructed. I have not had to break them in at all. I only had a little discomfort after two days in a row bartending over eight hours on my feet on concrete. The height got a little hard by the end of the second day. These are still good daily shoes for those on their feet a fair amount. Maybe not for those on their feet all day.

Very cute boot, a little tight in the toe area and going a size larger would have been too big. Used a stretcher and they fit much better.
I had thought Durango was made in America, discovered these are made overseas, I kept these but won't be buying this branch again.

Although I loved the look of these boots, I could not get them on because they were too tight at the start of my ankle and I did not want to cramp up my foot and force them on. If I were 30 years younger, my foot would have probably had more flexibility. So, I had to return these very pretty boots.

I love the look of these boots. The first pair I got fit perfect but there was a deep scratch across the toe so I returned them. The second pair hurts the back of my leg where the boot "slouches". I'm not sure if I am going to keep them. I read you need to break them in so I'm going to try that and see

I wear a 9.5 shoe and ordered a 10M boot. I couldn't even get my foot in it to see how it fit. Waaaay tooooo small.
I'll give it a 2 STAR for looks...they are great looking.

The arch dug into my flat foot. If you have small arches Or none at all, DO NOT ORDER THESE. felt like I was walking with a huge rock inside my shoe. So sad. I love the style.

So disappointing. Boots sold as new but the ones I received were damaged everywhere. It's the first time I have ordered on Zappos and the first time I spend so much on a pair of boots, I am extremely disappointed. Given the price, I was expecting to receive a brand-new pair of boots. I don't know who is in charge of quality control, but it is beyond poor.

I really wanted to keep these but could not get on. Wear 10. Medium Ordered 11. Still to tight
So once again only for the very skinny legs. To bad
I ordered a similar pair with zipper.
