Perfect boot! I've been buying and returning cowboy style boots for 2 months. I have an icky bunion on one foot. And I'm also cursed with super long spider toes, and big feet for my size. (I weigh 100 pounds, am 5'3" and I wear a shoe size 8.5 or 9.) Normally "if" the boot fits my feet, it's huge on my calves. Or it's so uncomfortable that I can't imagine actually walking in it. I read the reviews on this and gave it a try. These ARE so comfortable, padded just perfectly and they fit true to size and aren't super loose around my calves. You DO need to wiggle your foot in (use the boot straps on the side), but once your foot is in there, they are amazing. My eternal search for a boot is over. Durango Slouch Boot for the win!

Got these boots today, could not get them on. SO what I did and it worked was to put on a thin, silky sock and the boot slipped right on. They are super comfortable and I love them. I am writing this just in case someone else gets them and cannot get them on. Once on you will not want to take them off.

Super cute and comfy. I’m a solid 8 bought 8 and it was perfect. Might still put inserts to make even more comfy. Great style cowboy boot but doesn’t scream cowboy.

6/1/21-Just worn them in my Line Dance Class. I felt great with them and most of all comfortable. I love, love, love them. I was hoping if they had other colors this style!

These boots are so cute. I have been looking for a pair of simple cowgirl boots and these are perfect. They go on pretty easily based on my having a wider foot and high arch. They might be a bit wide if you have a narrow foot and are a bit long, but not a half size. My foot is always in the middle so they are just right!

Gorgeous boots love the slouch glad I didn’t listen to all the reviews that said it was hard to put on it went right on my foot and I was wearing athletic socks. The boot was still a little bit loose on me...I’m a 7.5 with a wide foot and it fit, just a little slip .. considering trying in a 7....

I never write reviews but I feel compelled to write about these boots because they are just that great! I’ve tried countless pairs of boots, specifically cowboy boots, on and they are either too stiff, too narrow, or just seem to require years of breaking in. These Durango boots are amazing. Comfortable right off the bat. It’s true you have to really push to get your heel in. It’s also true that once your feet are in, they slip a bit in the heel. Let me tell you, if you want to have a pair of cowboy boots, they ALL do this! It’s the sign of a well-made pair of boots!! And also the only possible way they can be pulled on (vs zipped on). These boots seem super sturdy and like they will be a good investment. They’re super cute, too!! I love them! I thought I’d never be able to own a pair of cowboy boots but here’s to firsts!! You will not regret this purchase. Also they are defintely true to size...maybe a teensy but on the big side. But I’m a solid 10 and I got a 10 and they fit fabulously. Thanks, Zappos!!!

This was a great purchase! I wore these boots right out of the box to a concert and they felt like I’d had them for years. Super comfy and cute!

Tried on the day these arrived, very comfortable and fits like a glove. Going to work and wore boots for the first time today, I just love these boots! And I got a lot of compliments too!
