Ok but could be better - Not a great shoe if you walk a lot as they are a bit stiff. Arch support is adequate. Although I ordered and received a narrow width, the heel is still a little loose.

Satisfactory shoe - The look of the shoe is great. Like the thick sole but the width is a problem for me, too narrow.

Very nice shoe, but I ordered the wrong color. The shoe fits well (10.5 narrow for me), looks well, and feels well. My only complaint would be the color is quite light and I wish that I had ordered the brown color instead.

Good shoe - A little larger than I expected. Tough to get stains out of the Nubuck. Very comfortable for boat shoe. CMW

Great casual shoe...however the tie-strings do not want to stay tied...otherwise, comfortable and appear to be very durable.

Great laces- I have a very narrow foot, actually a 14 AA. This shoe, even in a 14 B, is a little wide for me, but because the laces are woven instead of leather, as on most deck shoes, I am able to snug them up and get a comfortable fit.

Comfortable and well constructed - I usually go with the Sperry Topsider for a moccasin type shoe, but I thought I'd try something different this time. These shoes look good and are well constructed. At first, I got a slight blister on the back of one foot, but after a few hours of wear, that rough spot went away. The insides are a little rough, so I don't know if I'll be wearing them without socks. Overall, I'm pleased.

Schoodic - From reading other reviews, I thought that there would have been more padding in the sole. I like them and they broke in quickly. About the same as my Sperrys. Though they had the sole crack at the horizontal seams.

Good Shoe - This shoe is GREAT to wear without socks. It is a little snug with socks. Thick leather is a little stiff but holds up very well. I would buy this shoe again.

I like them! I've worn nothing but Sperry's for quite some time. But the last pair I owned, the two piece sole kept delaminating. I felt it was time for a new brand. Although the Schoodics were a bit pricier than anything I'd worn from Sperry, they were a good looking shoe. I got them in typical Zappos fashion...fast. It is actually a better looking shoe than I though. They are very comfortable. I actually like the shoestring better than a leather string, but we'll see how they wear.

Sizing - Definitely larger than the usual 10 1/2 M. I put an orthotic in it and it is still too large. Otherwise great. I would prefer if they would make a narrow

This shoe has classic styling and an over-all quality look, but the leather used is not the best, and the toebox felt tight. I returned these and kept the Sperry Mako, which had a better fit.

Good overall with a couple of issues - Ever since Dexter stopped making boat shoes, I have desperately been trying to find a replacement to my beloved Navigators. This shoe is the closest I've come and overall seems actually to be a higher quality shoe, but even after breaking them in, they don't seem to "mold" to my feet as well as I would like. The comfort is OK, but not fantastic. A bit heavy for a boat shoe. Also, this shoe needs leather laces, the cloth ones constantly need to be re-tied. These seemed about 1/2 size too large, another pair of Sebagos I ordered seemed right. So quality control may be an issue. Overall a high-quality shoe that I think will last, but personal fit and comfort will likely be a roll of the dice.

Quality Gaps - The shoe fits well, and "wears" well. One big shortcoming however - the "insert" is not stitched in. Didn't realize that right away. I know they save a few buck doing it that way, but it was not my intention to buy a lower quality shoe. I wish someone had written this review or that Z's would have at least pointed this out in the description - as I would not have purchased the shoe (and next time, if there is one, I will be careful to inspect the shoe meticulously before I begin wearing it). I was hoping to purchase a high quality dock shoe and was really rather price insensitive, but instead I got the same old junk. Very disappointed.

Zappos is great...Sebago...not so much anymore - If you've never ordered from Zappos, you can't believe how great they are on every level. However, I am disappointed in this shoe and this company. I did not know until I received these shoes that Sebago (like so many others) has moved their manufacturing to lesser developed economies. The result is a significant decrease in quality. Compared to my older US made docksides, these are cheaply made. The leather is a lesser quality, the stitching is sub-standard, and they just aren't as comfortable. I don't recommend them if you're looking for the traditional quality of the US made Sebagos.

Sebago Schoodic review - The shoe loos very nice but the fit is tight and uncomfortable. I'm still trying to break them in after several all day uses. A deck shoe shouldn't be this type of fit.

The shoe I received isn't the color shown online--it's just a strong tan. It's not particularly good looking, but it's a decent shoe, and the fit is okay...

Not a very comfortable shoe. I'll continue with Sperry and Rockport. Will not order this brand again.

Very happy - Ordered shoes expecting to get them in a week and they showed up the next day. Shoes fit very nicely and are very well built shoes. I'm very happy and will be doing more business with Zappos in the future, thats for sure. Pat cocoa beach, fl.

Most comfortable boat shoe available; has quality problems - Looks like a boat shoe, feels like a walking shoe. Very comfortable and the fit is perfect. Two problems: 1) The leather is not the best quality and is not dyed through, so when the finish scuffs it shows. 2) The sole was worn down under the ball of my foot very quickly, an eyelet popped out within a month, and the insole is not very durable.

Inconsistency - I take a wide shoe and have purchased the same size in a Sabago deck shoe. They fitted fine. I tried this shoe on and wore it around the house for a day to see if they were OK. They seemed to fit fine. Then I wore them out on day trip where a lot of walking was needed. After a couple of hours of walking I noticed soreness in several areas of my feet. The next day I put them on and they were "unwearable" because of the pain. Also, they can't be returned because of the wear so I paid a lot for something I can't wear. Thank you for asking. I know I have to be careful with wide feet. That is why I wore them around the house for a day.

Great looking, but… Ironically today I was going to email Zappos about these shoes. The stitching has come undone on my left shoe. I knew they were tight, but I thought they would stretch. Apparently not, to my surprise and disappointment, so back they have to go.

Disappointed - Feels 1/2 size too big. Irritates second toe on my right foot. The style is a bit klutzy. A positive is good arch support.
