These came true to size and fit like a glove the first try. This has a great leather lined insert in it that is soft and smooth. Sebago makes the best boat shoe and I have had all kinds and owned a charter boat at one time. The service is great and they will take a return with free shipping with no questions asked.

Just received three pair of the Schoodic's, one pair in each color. All are excellent shoes and highly recommended. The appearance is on par with a nice dress shoe, a more grown-up appeal than the typical preppy boat shoe look. The "burnt ivory" is an especially attractive very dark burgundy that's almost too nice for denim pants. The tan nubuck suede is satiny and the amber is a deep rich golden brown. The quality of the leather and construction easily best competitors that I've owned. Comfort after a full day in each of two pair is also excellent. They were slightly snug out of the box, as they should be for a personalized break-in. By the end of the day they fit like a glove. Haven't worn them sockless yet but the self-lined suede interior is smooth and free of edges, stitches, etc. The tan shoes have green trim rather than the navy described on the box and on the site--it's a very nice dark Carribean sort of green that suits the boat shoe look, but it's definitely not navy. Second, the contrasting color on the amber shoes is not nubuck but smooth leather. Neither of these differences bothers me in the least but buyers should be aware of the inconsistency.

Excellent shoes. Quality thick, pliable leather. Fairly heavy for boat shoes. Sizing is pretty close but definitely narrow, so if in any doubt go with the larger size and the wider width. I wear between an 11.5 and a 12; I probably should have gone with the 12, and certainly should have gone wide.

Wow, how nice it is to find and purchase something on Zappos. This is my 2nd or 3rd purchase and I will make it a point to always try to find whatever I am looking for online, at Zappos first. Lightning quick delivery on my new shoes at a rate less then I could find at my usual online shoe store of choice. Sweet!

I've had several pairs of the Sperry Billfish. This shoe is an excellent alternative. It is extremely comfortable, really fits like a foot glove. Soft on your bare feet. I'll definitely buy another pair when mine wear out.

Finding this type of shoe in a size 13, and an E width is hard to do. However, since I've had Sebago shoes before, I decided to give them a try. I wasn't disappointed. This Schoodic style is very comfortable, has an outstanding insole that cushions your feet and makes walking a pleasure. Give them a try; I'm sure you'll enjoy them too!

Excellent all purpose deck shoe. I\'ve had Sperry, Dexter, Bass and a previous pair of Sebago Schoodics. These are my favorites. This is an upgrade of the last Sebagos I purchased several years ago in both style and construction. It is more substantial from upper to sole. True to deck shoe reputation it will go well with khakis, jeans, shorts and swimwear...with or without socks. Comfort and fit were great right out of the box. I haven\'t worn them long enough to comment on the laces but generally I would prefer leather to the synthetic laces they came with. As far as the Zappos service goes, no need to comment. They are amazing!

First I must give a short RAVE about ZAPPOS. It is hands down the best ONLINE STORE. The return policy is second to none, as is shipping and customer service. My items get to me so quickly I can’t believe it sometimes, yet they have always arrived properly packed, and the items have always been correct. Amazing! Honestly; I have seen items elsewhere for lower prices, but I’m just not willing to sacrifice the "ZAPPOS EXPERIENCE" to save a few bucks. Now, on to the Sebago Schoodic. First it arrived three days sooner than I expected, and the box was in good condition. Upon opening, I was very pleasantly surprised with the look of the shoe. The pictures were very well taken, but in hand the shoes blew away the pictures. The quality of the materials and craftsmanship get no justice from the pictures, In hand and on the foot is where the truth is. They fit like an old friend right out of the box. I had to retie the laces to keep them laced, but any sailor should have no problem. Get creative, so many knots & so little time. I have taken them out on the boat and the soles performed great on wet decks, while the uppers provided the support needed to zip around the deck, all while being very comfortable. I like these shoes so much that while writing this review I have convinced myself to purchase another pair to replace these when they wear out in a DECADE or two. If I could I would rate Sebago Schoonic and ZAPPOS [5 stars squared].

This shoe is well made, has a great sole, and very comfortable. At first they felt slightly small both length and width wise, however, after about a week, they were broken in and feel great. Makes for a great slip-on shoe. I wear 10.5 in all shoes and have a narrow foot.

I wish I got a commission for all the friends I have sent Zappos' way! My son wears size 14; Zappos emailed me when the size 14 was re-stocked, and I snagged it! Zappos is #1 in customer service!

These shoes are the best thing since flushed toilets and sliced bread. I purchased this shoe thirteen months ago. They have held up great with all the punishment I give them. Zappos provides the best customer service I have ever received on the Internet. My wife and friends shop at Zappos. I have just placed my second order at Zappos. If the quality and service are the same, I do believe Zappos and I shall have a long lasting relationship.

One year and still going strong - I wear these shoes literally every day, and they're still in great shape and have held up much better than the Topsiders I've owned in the past. They're very comfortable as well. I did add a gel insole, but they were comfortable without it. With the insole, it's like foot heaven! I seriously look forward to putting them on, as they feel even better than bare feet. A very good product.

Great Boat Shoe! The Sebago Schoodic is a comfortable, supportive boat shoe that looks and feels great. The colors available are great and the sole is more substantial than most boat shoes, to give longer wear. The only drawback is that it is no longer going to be available in wide widths under size 8 men's. So if you're a man with a small, wide foot, get this one in wide while you still can!

Comfy right out of the box... I normally wear a wide, but because of recent comments here got the WW. And it fit perfect. A very comfortable shoe.

Sebago shoes - Great fit and true to size as I was able to get narrow in this style. Obviously not as comfortable a shoe as the athletic shoes, but fine quality and styling for summer wear.

Double wides! Excellent shoe. Fits perfect. I have very short wide feet; this shoe is the best, extremely comfortable. Zappos is the best to work with. Returns are a snap. Average shoe stores don't carry wide width or double wide width shoes. I do all of my shoe shopping at Zappos and have for the last 3 years.

Like Going Barefooted - This is the third pair of Sebago shoes, I've bought. Great Leather. Well made. And comfort, it's like going barefooted at the office.

Great shoe - Great quality shoe. Always worn Sperry in the past. Will not go back. I should have ordered a narrow size, however, fits snug with socks. I replaced nylon laces with rawhide and looks even better!
