I was nervous to try a thong-style sandal because previously I had only worn the "Arizona"-style Birks. I had no trouble breaking it in and it was comfortable for normal wear right out of the box. Wearing them for extensive walking took a few weeks of building a callus up. I love the look. The blue color on my screen is true to life. I have a very wide food and a high instep and Birkis fit me well. My little toes are just at the edge but not in an uncomfortable way.

I love these sandals. I have been wearing them for the past 8 years. The are extremely comfortable and good for long walks. I particularly like the silver as its adds a bit of glam to them.

Love these sandals! They look great with my maxi skirts and dresses and are comfortable enough to walk in all day. They do take a couple of days to break in, but after that? Fabulous, and the color goes with everything.

Great comfortable sandal. I wear a size 8, so ordered that size, but had to return because it was too big. I ordered the size below and fits great.

I love this shoe! so comfortable and I wear them ALL the time!! I always wear a 38 in european sizing, and a 7.5 or 8 medium in US sizes. the length of this shoe fits true to size however the width is wide. if you normally wear a medium width shoe, order the narrow in birkenstocks. I ordered a 38N and it fits PERFECTLY.

My very first pair of Birkenstocks. My friend bought these first and when I saw them I just had to have them. They are my "go-to" sandals for the summer. The silver gives it such a modern look and the footbed conforms to my foot perfectly. This may be my first pair of Birkenstocks, but it certainly won't be my last. Love them!

Simply put these are the most comfortable sandals I've ever worn. They are light years in comfort ahead of even the Arizona-style Birks and they look better, too. They're still a little frumpy but I don't mind it. I usually wear a 39 in a closed shoe and my old Arizonas were a 39 but these are a 38 and they fit like a dream. My foot is supported, my arch feels great, and I love having them on. I live in NY and ride public transit for 2 hours each day and I do a ton of walking. These sandals are equal to the task and I love them.

I have had 1 pair of Birkenstock Gizeh Birko-Flor from 2 years ago, and I just purchased a new pair in white patent. These shoes are great. I use them also everyday in the summer, for both long and short walks. I used them also on vacation, and my feet were never tired.

So awesome! Very comfortable and quickly form to your feet! Love these and wear them every day. Even when it rains they don't slip on pavement and have gotten soaked and still look and feel the same. Definitely small, I am an 8.5 and ordered a 38 and they are perfect.

I'm so happy with these! I ordered them on Sunday and got them on Tuesday! They are definitely patent white! I will say, the foot bed of the shoes is not as dark as they are in the picture. I have the Florida pair and fell in love so I thought I would try the Gizeh style. The patent white makes them look "dressier" which is good for work. They actually look a lot dressier than I was expecting. If they are uncomfortable at first, don't worry they will break in! The straps will stretch and the foot bed/sole will bend more as you walk.

I normally wear a 7 1/2 or 8 - I bought a 38 and it is perfect. My foot runs a bit narrow. I bought the medium and narrow to try and the narrow was definitely better. They are so comfortable from day 1. Love them!

I wear a size 5 and in these Birkenstocks the size 35 was best, and not the size 36 that was suggested. The metallic brown color is a great neutral and goes well with most things. These are supremely healthy for your feet. I can wear them all day walking and they cradle the foot and toes in exactly the right alignment.

This is my first ever pair of Birkenstocks. I was not dissapointed. I am a 9, and I ordered what should be a 9. They were too large. I exchanged for 8.5 and was much happier. These feel GREAT on my feet. Helps with my plantar fascitis.

They fit great, love the metallic toffee color. It took a couple of weeks to tolerate the toe piece. I was looking for something that would wear longer than Kalso Earth shoes.

My niece told me to buy these sandals, that they were the best. She was right! These sandals are great! After about a week of breaking in they became the most comfortable sandals I own! They have great arch support without being too much. The footbed seems to mold to your foot. I have recommended them to my friends. I am going to be sad when winter gets here and I will have to put them away!

I have plantar fasciitis and these feel great. My college age daughter loves the look of them. I am an average 9 but ordered a narrow because I feel Birkenstock are generally wide.

Fabulous!! so comfortable and versatile. I wore these all around Europe and my feet never hurt. In the beginning I got one blister around the strap area but it never happened again and the leather has now contoured my foot. Great shoe!

Second pair of these. Love the silver. A go-to, goes with everything, summer sandal for me. Also have them in white.

Somehow you feel healthier wearing these! Extremely comfortable, like a firm grip on your foot, with a feeling of stability. In order for the toe thing to not be uncomfortable, you have to tighten the strap so the mid foot is the focus of the weight bearing as you walk.

I love these shoes. I had to get over the "crunchy" factor and I'm glad I did. The toe divider did not cause any issues. I have fairly flat feet so it did take two weeks to "break in" the arch. Super comfortable and supportive. I have a stress fracture on one foot and an achilles issues on the other side. These are wonderful and look cute with jeans and skirts. I already want another color.

I have never come across a shoe that has mastered both comfort and style like the Gizeh. I m a 17 year old with plantar fasciitis as well as ingrown toenails, as it runs in the family, so finding affordable and attractive footwear that is also good for my feet has always been a challenge, but since my Gizehs arrived a month ago, I ve found my match and haven t gone a day without them! They are true to size, I usually am an 8 and a half, so I got the 39s and they've been perfect! The arch support is also the best I ve found- Birkenstock is perfect for feet like mine, allowing me to end each day completely free of foot/toe pain. Another positive aspect of the Gizeh that seems to be a rare thing with comfortable shoes is how attractive and stylish they are. I got them in the dark blue Birko-Flor style, and they are true to the online picture, and even shimmer a little in the sunlight. I have found that they can be dressed up or down and add a classic yet stylish look to any outfit. I must warn though that in the first couple days of wearing them, they feel slightly clunky and the plastic in-between toe part is a bit irritating, but have patience, it only takes a couple days before they are broken in and start to take the form of your foot. I highly recommend these shoes, they are through the roof in comfort, stylish class, and quality. Go for it!

This is the second pair of Birkenstocks I've owned. The first were happily worn-in until an unfortunate incident at a beach (that we can no longer speak of). Needless to say, it was sad. (Lesson learned, don't wear your favorite pricey sandals to the beach!) They look great with everything. They're comfortable. I had to return my original pair (I'm an 8.5 and bought accordingly) as my toes were hanging over the edge.

This is my first pair of Birkenstocks and definitely will not be my last. I haven't stopped wearing these since I got them. Other reviews said to order a size down. I stuck with my regular size (size 8 womens) and was a little concerned at first that I should have ordered down a size. However after wearing them and getting them broken in, they fit perfect. I have no issues with the plastic toe piece that others have said is uncomfortable. I love the total support these sandals provide. I can wear them all day and not have any foot, leg or back aches. I do a lot of walking and have no problems keeping them on my feet. I love that they are dressy enough to wear to work with out looking to much like a flip flop. I can't wait to get more Birks!

These are awesome Birkenstocks! I have had numerous pairs of Birkenstocks and have not been disappointed with any style. These are just perfect. They are as comfortable as sneakers and are just girly enough to not lose style. I definitely recommend them.

I love love love these sandals. That being said they were extremely uncomfortable for the first coupe of days and I was worried I wouldn't be able to handle the toe piece. However after a few days they broke in, the toe piece doesn't bother me at all, they are the most comfortable sandals I own and I have barely taken them off! The Antique Lace is beautiful. As other reviewers have noted they run big- I am generally a 7-7.5 in most shoes and went with the 37 (6-6.5) and they fit perfectly.
