These were comfortable right out of the box for me. The silver is really cute and goes with many things - shorts, jeans, skirts. Love them! I am a size 6 and wear a 36 in Birkenstocks.

My favorite shoe in my closet! If I don't have them on it's the first thing I change into when I walk in the door! Absolutely love this shoe!

I have wanted these shoes for over a year. They are extremely comfortable and I love the black onyx color - it goes with everything. I originally was searching for a nude patent leather but I couldn't find anything in that shade so opted for the black onyx and I'm very happy with the choice. I normally wear a US size 8 but I ordered the European size 38 and they fit perfectly.

I really love these so far! My only issue was choosing a size; I generally wear an 8.5 or a 9 and their sizing splits at those sizes. A 39 is an 8-8.5 and a 40 is 9-9.5. I went with the 40 to be safe based on other reviews and I almost wish I hadn't. I feel like my toes are in the right place, but there is too much space behind my heel. My husband assures me that they don't "look too big" so I am keeping them. I love everything else!

I have been ordering shoes on Zappos for a number of years. Their customer service is the best, extremely friendly and always making sure that you are 100% satisfied. I love the wide inventory of shoes they carry.

These are fabulous! I followed the advice of many commenters to order a size down, and they are perfect. I am normally an 8 / 39 but ordered the 38 regular and they fit very well. The adjustable strap makes them nice and snug to your feet with no flip-flipping sounds. I wore them for hours the first day and they were very comfortable, but I am very use to wearing thong style sandals. I ordered the Toffee-Birko, and expected it to be more of a deep brown, but it is more of a deep bronze with a slight metallic sheen, which I am actually quite happy with. I'll be getting more.

These are comfortable. I have really wide feet (usually 7-7.5) But my normal size was too big. Went down to next size and they're perfect. These are my first Birks and I love them. I gave 4 stars for comfort because if I walk 2 miles in them I need a break.

These sandals are fantastic! I was worried that the straps would be too wide since I have a low-volume foot, but I was able to tighten them perfectly and still have another notch to go. They were comfortable from the first time I put them on. I wear an 8 or 8 1/2 and the 38s fit perfectly. I also tried 39s and they were definitely too big.

Bought these to walk Europe. Did over 115 miles in 8 days and not one sore, blister, rub mark. Not one. Also they still look brand new. Best shoes ever.

I could not be happier with this purchase! I have been thinking about getting a pair of Birkenstocks for a while now since they have really come back into style, and this summer seemed like the perfect time since I am expecting my fourth child and my feet are so tired! These look so cute on and could not be more comfortable. I have worn them nearly every day since receiving them a couple of weeks ago, and have gotten so many compliments on them! The only issue was sizing - I wear a 6.5, so ordered the 37 based on the size chart. They were way too big, but the 36s were perfect, and, as always, an exchange through Zappos was very simple.

I am a huge fan of the Gizeh sandal. I have three pairs myself and bought another for my niece for her birthday, and she loved them! Seriously, these are my go to sandals every day of the summer and with the cool silver and other great colors, they are funky enough to wear out. They fit perfectly, have amazing Birkenstock support and fit, really comfortable thong feature. Just get a pair now, you will not be sorry!

Love these! Originally bought in titanium because wanted a darker silver or metal color but they look green! I sent them back and got the silver. Love the sandal, had to get a different color.

This review is for the narrow version of this shoe. Love these shoes! They are the perfect marriage of comfort and style. Birkenstocks take a little bit of time to break in, but once they do they are so comfy! I live in NYC and walk a lot, and I needed shoes that were supportive but still cute - these were (and still are) perfect. Highly recommend!

I love this shoe. Stylish and comfortable. The shoe is perfect in every way except for the sizing chart. I am a woman's 7 or a 7.5 in all of my shoes. So I ordered the 38, which says is equal to a 7-7.5. They were huge. I went down a size and tried the 37, which says is equal to a 6-6.5. Still way too big. I am going to try the 36. It says they are equal to a 5-5.5. Maybe in men's sizes I am a 5, but not in a woman's. If the sizing chart is indeed men's U.S. sizes, then you need to specify those details. I assumed that because it is a women's shoe, the corresponding U.S. shoe size is also a woman's. Here's to trying a third time.

I always love Birkenstocks and these sandals are not different. No braking time for me, great out of the box. Very cute with shorts, capris or skirts. I am coming back for another color pretty soon.

This sandal style is a classic from Birkenstock. I found the 42N fit my 11N foot quite well. It was not an extreme narrow. My previous pair of these lasted a good three summers of hard wear and tear. They can be shiny enough for casual dressy, or they can just be a shiny perk to your play day clothes.

I am in love with these shoes! After foot surgery, my doctor told my flats and flip flops were out of the picture. Devastated, I began looking for the next best thing. These are outrageously comfortable and supportive. There was relatively no "break in" period. I will say that the color I have (the antique lace) was not what i thought. I thought it was a soft cream, but its actually has an off white, shiny look.

I ordered the Gizeh sandals in white and I love them! There are a couple of issues that other reviewers mentioned which I would like to address. First, the plastic thong piece did not bother me at all as other reviewers claimed. I am used to wearing flip flops and other sandals with toe pieces so I agree that this could contribute to me not noticing the plastic piece on these Gizeh sandals. I have a pair of Birkenstock Florida sandals with the soft footbed and I was worried that these Gizeh sandals would be too hard compared to the soft footbeds but they were not. They required slightly more break in time but I wore the sandals for a couple hours at a time almost every day for a week and never experienced blisters. I do agree with other reviews that these sandals have more arch support than the soft footbed sandals do. I wear a size 7.5-8 consistently and ordered a 38 in these sandals, the same as my Florida pair, and did not have a problem with them being too big. These sandals are easy to wear and match with so many outfits because I ordered the white. I highly recommend them and will be ordering another pair again soon!

This is my second pair of the Gizehs, and I absolutely love them. I wear these now instead of flip-flops due to a hip injury. They fit well in all the right places and are very supportive. I want them in every color!

Love the color and very comfortable. I have problem with other flip flops because my feet slide and cause friction sores on my toes. My feet don't move in these because of the arch support.

Love my silver Birkenstocks! Wear them all the time. Order a size down though, they run very big! I wear a 7.5/8, so I ordered up to the 8/8.5 just to be sure. They wear huge! Returned them for the smaller size and even those have some room in the heal.

I love these shoes! They are very comfortable, supportive, and stylish. I wear them every day! It took me a couple of days to get used to the toe strap.

Just purchased these. Very cute sandal. Still need time to mold it to my feet. It takes a few times of wearing before that happens. Then they are super comfy. I am normally a size 6 1/2 - 7. I've had a pair of Birks that were a 37 and they were huge. Definitely size down! I got a 36 which is a 5 1/2 and they fit perfect!
