I exchanged it for one size smaller because they ran larger than my usual size. The Zappos rep was amazingly helpful! Great experience!

These are my 5th pair of Birkenstock footwear. Have NEVER been disappointed and this pair was no exception. I am confused about the "plastic" piece being mentioned. I have inspected my pair and had Hub look at it too and the thong is leather! For sure! The part in between the toes... 100% Leather!! I have received many compliments on these and love wearing them with jeans, capris, skirts and dresses!

Very comfortable, super cute & stylish. Really love the onyx color. Felt a full size too big, I exchanged for a 38 after ordering a 39. Size issue was in the length, not the width, which felt fine in both sizes. I ordered medium width. My first pair of Birks -- love them!

These shoes are great. The leather upper is very comfortable. It is, however, a challenging shoe. When you're breaking them in, I wouldn't suggest wearing them for a whole day the first time you wear them. But after you break them in, then they're formed to your feet, and they're awesome.

I love my new Birkies! They are known for comfort and reducing foot tiredness and pain. These shoes level my very supinated feet, leveling them, thus aligning my spine and improving my posture. My whole body feels better. They are great and I'll get another pair. They're really cute too.

I love these shoes! I really like the licorice color. It has just a little sheen to it which helps to dress them up just a bit but of course has a casual flair as well. They are very comfortable. I'm very happy with these and would recommend them to anyone looking for a great sandal. I wear an 8 1/2 and a 39 was perfect.

My feet seem to get so tired at the day so a friend suggested I try Burkenstocks. Just got these two days ago and I must say...I really like them. This particular style and color are not as scary ugly as some if the others. I like them a lot and am considering them in another color.

Love these! So comfy...I ordered the titanium at first and decided I didn't like the color. I called Zappos customer service to exchange for the licorice color. I am not sure I have ever had a better customer service experience! Bravo Zappos for awesome customer service and Bravo Birkenstocks for my happy feet!

Wearing these for the first time today straight out of the box. Very comfortable and supportive on the arch. This is my fourth pair of Birkenstocks and I still find them to be some of the most comfortable sandals ever. I always order the narrow width and they fit my narrow feet perfectly.

Very comfortable! Small window to break them in but definitely wearable right out the box! Fit true to size (though initially thought they ran a little big, but that's just how the Birks are). Love these sandals!

So comfortable! I have horrible plantar fasciitis and chronic foot pain. I struggle with finding the right shoes that aren't sneakers. I ordered these and love them. They are cute. Took a few days to break in, but now are like slippers.

These sandals are the best! Just to let you know when you first put them on they will hurt for several days until they adjust to your foot. After that they are so comfortable.

This is my first pair of Birkenstock shoes and now I am wondering why I waited so long. I took these on a trip to Sicily recently and wore them almost every day. Great walking shoes. Super cute, comfy, and great support. I'm now trying to decide what color my next pair will be!

I love these! I bought them because I am pregnant and walk to work. I wanted a comfortable yet stylish walking shoe to get me there and back. They are awesome, a little glam and a lot comfy! I highly recommend them and will be ordering more Birks in the future.

Love my silver Birkenstock Gizehs! I've been wearing them just about every day, and get compliments on them all the time. Just plain comfortable and go with everything for the summer! I am a size 7 in all shoes and got the 37 after talking to someone who already has them. They fit great! Just FYI though, straight out of the box they feel uncomfortable at first. I almost sent mine back...but my sister told me I had to break them in, so I wore them around the house for an hour and they were perfect! Haven't taken them off since!

Well, you can't really go wrong with Birkenstocks. One of my other pairs is 20+ years old and still going. These are quite a bit more stylish and seem more streamline. A bit thinner than my Arizonas, they still fit my slightly wide foot perfectly. I did not have a problem/pain with the toe thong as others have mentioned, but I do notice it's there. These are very attractive and look great with anything: from shorts to a summer dress. They feel quite secure when they're on unlike some other shoes in this style.

I had to order three pairs of these shoes before I got the right fit, but it was worth it! Many reviews say that this shoe runs big, so I ordered a size smaller than I normally would. For me the length was true to size. However, I do think they run wide. I know I have narrow feet, but I do not generally buy narrow shoes - they simply don't make that many, so I ignore the issue and wear the regular shoes. The narrow Birks are perfect for me, though! I can tell that the break in period will be a little bit of a struggle - these shoes are stiff, and have a lot more support than anything I've worn before. Last summer I broke in a pair of Rainbow sandals, and it was well worth the work.

WHY WHY cant Birkenstock make the thing between the toes, in the Gizeh, a soft leather...not that darn hard plastic. I had to take mine back because of that. This is funny, when I complained direct to Birkenstock there suggestion was I use an emory board and file down the plastic OR use mole shin on my toes. REALLY? CAN you believe it? Why not just make them with a soft something...especially at the price they want for them.

I love how they feel, how they look. At the beginning I felt that they were a little hard to break but after few times of few minutes of use I just love them!

My new go-to sandal! My ONLY issue with the fit was that my toes touched the edge of the sandals when I walked, but the cork is very forgiving so part of my "breaking in" phase was pushing down on the edge of the shoes by my toes and we are good to go. Birks always need a period of time to get broken in perfectly, so I was not bothered by this at all.

I sustained a 2nd degree burn to my left foot a few weeks ago and not one pair of shoes in my closet were comfortable. I saw someone wearing this style and realized I needed them in my life! Purchasing these shoes was the best decision I've made in a long time. I wore Birkenstocks while in college in the 80s and over the years "we lost touch." I'm so glad to be re-acquainted, I LOVE these shoes! I also own the Gizeh in black patent. The new styles are fierce, I'll be ordering another pair very soon! By the way, my burn is almost completely healed. Cheers to Birkenstock!!!

Love these Birks. I have two pairs now and love them both (Silver and Gold). They're a little stiff at first but mold right to your feet pretty quickly.

These are incredibly comfortable shoes. I was a little nervous ordering the European sizes but if you follow the sizing chart you can't go wrong. The color is very flattering and goes with most outfits. They are a little pricey, but worth it!

Finally -- Birks that fit my size 5 foot! This is a great looking shoe, and so comfortable. I've tried numerous Birk styles, but all ran large. I normally wear a medium, but the Gizeh Birko-Flor 35 Narrow does the trick. I will order these in other colors.
