Super comfortable! I had always shied away from these cause they just looked too hippie-ish for me. This style is great! I could never conceive how a cork footbed could possibly be comfy. I don't know how, but it is very comfy! I literally have not stopped wearing them since I got them. I will say my feet were tired first few days during break in. I wear a solid size 8 but they were too big. I sized down based on recommendations and it was the perfect fit!! Get these shoes!!! And THANK YOU Zappos for being so amazing and patient with me!!! Hee hee!!

I'm very satisfied with the Gizeh sandals. I have a long history of foot issues, including plantar fasciitis and stress fractures, so I'm always looking for supportive shoes that aren't hideous or matronly. These are super comfortable and cute. I chose the silver because it is a neutral versatile color that looks dressy enough for me to wear at my business casual office.

Bought this as a gift for my friend and she just loves them! She's extremely happy with the comfort and the style.

I love these sandals! I usually wear a 38 in Granda and all mules but I had to reorder in 39. I love the color! Thanks, Zappos, for quick ship and exchange, you are wonderful!

These are pretty much as I expected. they are my first pair of Birkenstocks and the high level of quality is obvious. I had bought a pair of Dr. Scholl "look a likes" previously and they were no comparison to these lovely sandals. That said, the ridge under the toes is very hard and was painful after my first day of wearing. I think I'm getting used to them and will definitely keep them but hoping that will improve. My boyfriend said we could sand it down a bit if I didn't get used to it! It seems the Birkenstock footbed is more "shaped" than some of the others I have worn (Naot, Donald Pliner).

This is my first pair of Birkenstocks after feeling the need to expand beyond Fitflops as my go-to comfy summer flop. I wanted great arch support - got it. I wanted a comfy sandal - getting there.. And lastly, I wanted a fairly stylish shoe - the black shiny patent leather works. The footbed provides great arch support for those with high arches but the bed is NOT soft. It's taken me a couple of weeks to get the foot "molding" thing going and they are getting more comfortable. Also, these really fit to your feet so there is no "flip flop" noise and your feet feel very supported and protected while on long walks. Will try another pair at some point.

I was so excited to get these. I wore Birks all through the 90's and loved them. I gave them five stars for cuteness but the comfort was not there. I wear an 8½ so I ordered a 38 and they were too small. My toes banged up against the ridge on the end of the shoes. I tried a size 39 and the same thing happened. Sadly, I sent them back.

I bought this shoe in black. I usually wear size 7, the size 38 was a size too large. Unfortunately, this style was not flattering on my feet (accentuated the wideness of my feet). This is going back.

Uh. Maze. Ing. I have been wearing these almost non stop since I got them. Very little break in required, they fit like a dream. Feel very sturdy, but trendy at the same time! I usually wear a size 8.5-9 and I ordered 40. They work great!

Quality and well-made shoe. Shoe runs large and hits arch wrong if foot is not at the very back of shoe.

I love these! Our new puppy tore up my other flipflops so decided to find a new shoe to buy! Loved the way these looked. Definitely go down a size like other reviews said. Usually wear a 7-7 1/2 which would be a 38 euro and I bought the 37. Great fit! Was worried they would be too wide on my feet since I have a pretty narrow food but they fit great (was out of the narrow size when I bought them). Can tell it will take a little bit to break in but they'll still comfy nevertheless. Would for sure buy again!

I am sorry, but had to send these back. I am a true size 6 and according to the size chart it should be a 37. Order a size smaller. I did order size smaller and narrow and they were wonderful.

Great shoes! They are comfortable and look better than in the photo. The cream color is actually a cream pearl color.

The shoes are great, they run big. I ordered my regular size and they were huge. I exchanged for the next size down and they fit with a little room to grow. Very comfortable, you have to break them in a little but once you do they're perfect. I like the style and ease of slipping on and off.

This is my 2nd pair of this exact pair. The 1st pair lasted for several years, they were just 'beat-up' from me wearing them like tennis shoes! These are cute, not so "birky" looking. I've a knee replacements on both knees and these work perfect for me.

Didn't work for me at all. Surprising how uncomfortable these were. Loose, sloppy fit even with buckle adjustment, unattractive on the foot, and a very uncomfortable footbed.

I ordered these after debating on whether to spend this much on sandals. As soon as they arrived (super fast!), I could tell they were going to be comfy and supportive for my high arched feet but they were really big for me. I am usually an 7.5 or 8 in women's. The size 39 I ordered was a full size bigger and I was dreading exchanging them until Zappos quickly sent out a new pair to me in a smaller size (38), which fit much better. Definitely recommend, but maybe go a size down if you're on the fence. Did I mention how awesome Zappos return/exchange policy is?!

Very cute. Very comfortable. Unfortunately, the toe tab covers my short toes and looks very odd, so back they go. Looked very nice on the model

2nd pair of the Gizeh- absolutely love them. They are my go to sandal in summer. I can wear anything with them. They are so comfortable. I would have more pairs if the colors were what I wanted!

This is a nice pair of sandals, I don't like the tab in between the toes it bothers me, I also got the narrow and it is to narrow for me. Otherwise I really love Birkenstocks, I will see if I can get a different pair!
