Great shoes--comfortable and sturdy. I had a hard time deciding on color, but am happy with my choice! I still don't think these are "cute" shoes, but they certainly are comfortable! Only complaint is that they feel and look a bit wide, but the narrow fit is too narrow for me.

I expected to love this shoe; I've had other Birks and had thong sandals with the European foot bed -- and was happy with both. I thought the appearance was good. The plastic thong is terrible, particularly combined with the foot bed. I've had the shoes on 8 to 10 times for a total of less than 3 minutes because they were so painful, so am returning them. I have not given up on Birks and will try other styles in the future.

Very cute shoe but the toe area was too hard for me. Unfortunately I am returning these shoes.

Love these! I was skeptical at first bc traditional Birkenstocks are not my style, but I saw other moms wearing these and I was amazed at how cute they were! I originally bought the size 38 bc I'm normally a size 7, however I didn't like the look of them, there was too much space around the foot. I exchanged it for a size 37 and they are perfect! They look so good and are amazingly comfortable. I did wear them a little around the house for a few days before taking them for a day outside and that allowed me to break them in comfortably. That's a must especially if you're not used to wearing shoes with so much support.

I really like these. I am a true 8.5 and buy a 39 in Danskos. I purchased a 38 in these and still have a bit of room in the toe and heel cup. The toe piece is not bothersome to me at all. They are slightly stiff right out of the box but already seem to be getting softer.

I bought these for my daughter, they are fantastic! She is a ballet dancer and needs arch support to preserve her feet. These served her well, straight out of the box, on a week long trip to DC, where she walked sometimes nine miles in a day! And looked super cute. She has size 6 feet and got size 35.

A sassy little sandal, can go dressy or casual, comfortable soft patent leather, great for plantar faciatis too.

I really love the shoes! I was hesitant to keep them after I saw the plastic piece at the toe area, thinking it would be uncomfortable to wear the shoes. It took a little bit a day maybe, and you know longer feel the plastic between your toes. Shoes are absolutely amazing for people who have high arches or plantars fasciitis.

Bought these shoes for a summer vacation as the reviews were so good. very disappointed. Looking for a Clarks substitute. The toe thong was so hard.

Very comfortable with excellent arch support. I had to purchase a size larger than I normally would. I'm a 9.5 but had to but the 10 - 10.5 size to get a proper fit.

Killed at first, really need to break them in but eventually they were amazing. Wear them everyday!

I love the combination of an earthy, crunchy Birk and stylish silver accent. Birks are not as comfortable as some other shoes, like Bjorn or Taos, but it's the idea I like here.

I love these shoes! I buy Birkenstocks because I have plantar fasciitis and there give me the support I need. As a vegan, I was so happy that Birkenstock offers Birko-flor, but so disappointed that the shoes still have a leather footbed. Please Birkenstock, offer consumers an option that is truly cruelty-free and environmentally responsible - leather is not acceptable. I wear a US women's 7.5-8, but a size 35 in these shoes.

These shoes hurt my feet where the little dookickey goes between my big toe and second toe. I can't wear them for very long. Also, the patent leather with the uber-casual look is a bit odd. Overall, I wish I hadn't bought them. Ouch.

These are so cute, comfy and feel good for my feet. They definitely run large so I would order down.

Over the years I think I've bought three iterations of this sandal. It is my summer staple. It's cute and has great arch support so it's perfect for a lot of walking/standing. You won't regret these!

I really like the shoes. I've been walking around in Reef flip flops for some time and felt like I needed more arch support and a more sturdy summer sandal. These totally fit the bill. Comfortable and stylish and I get compliments on them all the time.

These are the best sandals. Stylish and comfy for every day wear. I had an old pair that I had to do away with and am so happy to have purchased a new pair. I'll probably wear these for many years to come. Great quality as well! Although, I have a 38 in all of my Birkenstocks but this one did seem to run just a little smaller than the others.

Lovely and comfortable but the color was misleading. I ordered the toffee color and upon arrival saw that it has a very distinct metallic sheen. The color was shiny bronze which I am not into. I am returning in exchange for the oiled leather version.

Took some time, but finally broke them in the thong part hurt in between my toe. Overall, the arch support is great. Which is something that is hard to find in other sandals.

Theses shoes are so great if you have foot or back problems. They offer so much support but are way cuter than most shoes that are good for your feet! They run true to size. I wear a 9 and the size 40 is perfect. I read several reviews before ordering and I disagree that the plastic thong piece is uncomfortable. I actually ordered a 39 & 40 to try due to Zappos' awesome return policy and the 39 fit okay but the thong piece was very uncomfortable. So, I'd say if it hurts, you're not wearing the right size. I kept the black pair because they go with everything but the antique lace is really pretty too! It was hard to decide! Glad to be back in Birkenstocks! Haven't worn them since the 90's!

This is my first pair of Birks. That said I've always been reluctant to buy them because when I try them in the store they're not all that comfortable. After wearing them several times now, they're getting better. I'm still not convinced they will be the most comfortable shoes I'll ever own, but we are at least headed in the right direction. The color is adorable and the shiny white will likely ward off smudges/stains. I love the thong part. I feel like it grips my foot in a good way. If you're already a fan of Birks, these are great shoes! Of course, Zappos is the best to buy from! Who can beat next day delivery?!
