These were surprisingly uncomfortable. I bought them specifically because of their reputation as comfortable shoes, but I find that after walking more than about a half hour, the space between my toes and the ball of my foot just aches, I guess because of the awkward shape of the footbed. It's an expensive shoe considering the lack of comfort.

So.very.comfortable. They absolutely go with everything. I have a narrow foot, and could not have worn this style -or any birkenstocks- without ordering a narrow.

Runs true to size. Feels really good on the arch and is very supportive. I love the silver metallic it is very stylish. While on vacation this summer at a European location, I saw many of the coolest hipsters wearing this shoe!

This is my second pair of the Birko-Flor - incredibly supportive and comfortable shoe that is very attractive in the black patent color. These shoes are my go-to pair for everything in warm weather and I'm very disappointed to put them away for the season! They were the perfect shoe for supporting my body throughout pregnancy and I have no doubt they spared me joint pains. These really are the best!

My favorite pair of shoes! I wear these nonstop in the summer. They are the most comfortable pair of shoes I own, I even prefer them over Chacos.

I love Birkenstocks and I love this style. I have plantar fasciitis and these saved my feet this past summer! I highly recommend! They do take some time to break in but so comfy once you do! I now own them in several colors but the silver is my favorite.

This is my first pair of Birkenstocks and I'm quite happy with them! I purchased this in the same size (size 37) that I take with other European-sized shoes, and it's a perfect fit. The break-in period was short (only a few days or so) and since then, these have been extremely comfortable. These also fit my wide feet well. The only negative I have with these sandals is that for some reason, it's easy for dirt, gravel, etc. from the floor to get into the sandals, though I don't have this problem at all wearing much lower and flatter flip flops. This isn't a dealbreaker however, and I would recommend these sandals.

I love these shoes... they are soooo comfy. They take a little breaking in, but once theyre broken in they are amazing. I wear them all the time!

I love these shoes. It's the third pair I buy. Once your feet get used to them, you just don't want to take them off - ever!

Bought these for my sister as a gift because I love mine so much. They're stylish and so comfortable. I have a somewhat narrow foot and have to have something between my toe to keep a slip-on sandal from flopping off my foot. These provide the security I need. I love the ability to adjust the fit with the buckle.

These are my all time favorite shoes, hands down! They are so comfortable and supportive, also very durable. I love them!!

My favorite sandals! Over the years I have purchased 4 pairs of these sandals. They are very comfortable and conform to the shape of your foot. I get many compliments on my Gizeh sandals!

I love Birks and have several pairs. Wore these a ton this past summer when I was pregnant. As always, very comfortable. Even got compliments from my high school students - so they must be cool! ;)

I'd love to own almost every color and style of these sandals! Super comfortable, great look and fit. Hold up very well to my frequent use!

I dont think that these are comfortable at all! They hurt my feet on the bottom i found knockoffs at target that are actually comfortable and affordable

Love these shoes! Bought them for vacation and never took them off! They mold to your feet and are so comfortable! Love my Birkenstock!! (And Zappos!!)

These are a dream come true! The first few wears were a little hard to deal with, but now they fit like a glove! It was worth the pain to have an amazing custom fit sandal that also looks cute! I have wide feet and these fit perfectly with the adjustable strap!

I ordered these over the summer. At first they weren't comfortable, but after about one week my feet adjusted. I love them and for Birkenstock I found they to be stylish. Would highly recommend.

I really like the fit and style. The one thing is that I think this color should have been called Bronze because it's definitely a muted bronze and not straight brown like it looks on the site. I thought these were a darker brown than the Brown ones based on the picture. I'm returning these for the real Brown!

Love this sandal. As a sufferer of plantar fasciitis, this has been a lifesaver. I'm a teacher, so I'm on my feet all day. This is one shoe I can wear all day and not have pain. If I wake up with foot pain and put this shoe on I notice immediate relief.

Comfortable sandal, I am 37 weeks pregnant and was having a hard time finding any shoes that would fit my swelling feet. These work great I just latched the sandal on the last spot and I was good to go. The are a bit stiff but I feel certain with continuous wear they will break in nicely. The thong irritates a bit when I walk for a period of time but not enough to warrant me not wearing them. Ive only had them a few weeks and I am not allowed to wear them to work so they haven't been completely broken in yet, but I would still recommend them!! I give them two thumbs up! :)

Due to a foot injury I purchased these Birks which turned to be the most comfortable shoes I have. Unfortunately the cork began to tear apart in the same area on both shoes. I still have a couple of pairs from 15 plus years ago that did not have the same problem. I exchanged these and purchased a cork protection product on ebay that I have applied to the new pair.

Love these sandals! If you can handle the feeling if a thong/between the toes sandal, the Gizeh can't be beat. Short break in time, they fit great! Casual but classier than a flip flop. Nice slip-on Birkies!

I LOVE LOVE LOVE these shoes. As a young 46 year old woman I hated those hippy Birkenstock shoes when I was a kid in the 70's. But the ones today are far more fashionable. At the recommendation of friends and colleagues, I decided to give it a try. I'm so glad I did! I suffer from severe foot pad atrophy. So anytime I have to do a lot of walking I take a few pairs of shoes along to redistribute the pain & pressure points of my feet (based on the particular shoe). Well I went two weeks in Disney & Universal with my husband & kids. I did so much walking I lost 5 pounds (even though I ate like a pig) and put even my most competitive Fitbit friends to complete shame my. Short of spending $1500 for Botox foot injections to replenish my foot pads, I prepared for the pain I knew would be I store (based on my many disney trips). I brought about 20 pairs of shoes (no lie - I also obviously love shoes). I wore those all day on most days. The only reason I changed them midday was because I didn't want them to get soiled from the rain showers and on other days they just didn't match. So my collection of Tory Burch sandals, crocs, and orthaheel/vionic sandals hardly got any air time. I will be buying these in every color for next summer!!!

These shoes have AMAZING arch support. Breaking them in was a process, but was definitely worth it. some of the other reviews mention that it took 4 weeks to break in these sandals, but they were broken in after a week of almost daily wear. I recommend these to anyone who wants a pair of sandals they can walk around all day in without feeling foot fatigue.
